This is a very large liquor store with a huge selection of products. It is well organized and has good signage. They have a good variety of canned cocktails. Usually these beverages are only 4-5% alcohol content but they had a number of options that had 7-8% for an extra kick. The only downside is a lot of the brands don't have nutrition information on their packaging so you can't see their ingredients or sugar content. I ended up going with the Svedka strawberry lemonade. It was tasty and not too sweet. They also had several spiked seltzers. Their prices were good. I went around 2:30pm on a Saturday and there was no line for the checkout. read more

They have a decent enough beer selection from what I saw when I stoped in, and in fact was w ale to catch a nice deal on some Firestone Walker special edition beers. The liquor and wine assortment also on hand seemed to also be decent. read more

Nice selection of beers and spirits, not as nice as some of the top stores in the area like a Canals or Total Wine, but better than many in the area. They always seem to have something unusual when you walk in, which leads me to A DONUT When was the last time you had a donut when you were looking for beer or booze? There is a Dunkin Donuts inside the liquor store here. No place to sit, but if you just want to pick up a cup of tea or coffee and a glazed and keep going, this is the perfect set up. read more

They also sell sake and many types of liquors. This place is huge, clean and the staff are helpful. Prices are pretty reasonable. Pro: A warehouse-style wine & spirits emporium with a large selection of...well...just about everything! My personal measures for a liquor store are whether or not they carry a) Cruzan Rum Single Barrel, or b) Ron Zacapa 23-year Guatemalan Rum. Luckily for me, Martin's carries both! Also housed within these walls are a vast array of domestic and imported wines, bourbons of all sorts, and most accompanying non-beverage accessories. With the FDA coming down on companies that sell caffeinated alcoholic beverages, this place will probably be next on the hit list. A Dunkin Donut inside a liquor store?!?!? Who would have thunk it possible! I used to swing by this place when I lived and worked in the area to pick up some hard to find libations, notably Korean soju. If you need a second wind and a 6 pack, and work off of Rt 38, then go Martins. They have a dunkin donuts inside. A real one. Full menu. None of that "this isn't a real dunkin' donuts, this is a 'we serve dunkin' donuts' BS that starbucks pulls at Barnes and Noble. So get a coffee. Are you from New Jersey? Do you want to drink local? They have a great selection of COLD six packs of the finest brews NJ has to offer. And not just South Jersey but North Jersey, (like practically New York) New Jersey brews. My go to liquor store! This place has friendly knowledgeable staff, but more importantly the best inventory around. Not your local small mom and pop LQ store. Whenever I'm in here, they always have the high end wine I'm looking for and they even give me good recommendations for next time. I was able to get my hands on Opus one, Groth, cakebread, ace of spades and stags leap faye. Prices are all reasonable. Tried wegmans lq store and they never have what I'm looking for. While, that have a good selection of beer, they are guilty of massive price gouging. I've watched them get worse and worse. You could say to me, "just go somewhere else." But, I don't believe anyone should be ripped off when you can get the same beer everywhere else for 33% less. You can't raise prices because something is a limited yearly release. Overall, probably the best beer store I've found in South NJ/SE PA region, based on selection/quality/value. Places like the Foodery in Philly have a better selection but their prices are so outrageous, I really don't think it's worth it. It's conveniently located off of Rt 38 (right by Costco, which is always a good thing!). The beer ailse is located right when you walk in on the left. The left side is mostly fridge space while the right is shelving. You can find most any of the "big" craft breweries here, along with some of the harder to find items like Founder's. I was even able to find a couple bottle of Black Ops here which is the first time I've seen it in this area. Service is good and you can normally find someone around to help you out. Pricing it competitive and seems on par with other places in South NJ. Highly recommend checking it out if you are in the area! read more

The woman cashier here is so uncomfortably rude. I said hi how are you as I'm putting my items down, and she mumbled something so quietly I couldn't hear. So I said excuse me? I still didn't finish putting down my items at this point and she literally BARKS at me - "ID. I NEED TO SEE YOUR ID". Okay...... sorry you are having a rough day! Wegmans is literally cheaper! I will absolutely never come here again you nasty human being. I appreciate customer service - not even asking for good service but this was just disgraceful. It easy to say that its not even worth reviewing a liquor store, there are so many of them and they all basically offer the same thing...alcohol. However, Martin's takes a liquor store to a new level. Just walking into this place is better than most other establishments, its well lit and the staff is always friendly. O and its huge inside. What draws me to this place is how organized it is. Liquor is in order by type from Top to Bottom Shelf. It is easy to find what you want and compare it to different brands. Their shelfs are ALWAYS stocked and you never have to ask if something is in the back. Along the back wall they have anything and everything you could need to make your perfect drink. Their beer row is equally as good. They carry all types of beers, even those hard to find six packs that you are just in the mood for that night. And of course, if you need a pick me up before you get started for the night, then you can grab a nice hot coffee at the Dunkin' Donuts inside. This is very convient for a one stop place while traveling down 38 or just hopping off 295. On top of this I find that their prices are much better than other places around by 2-4 dollars. Canals is known as the cheapest around and I always find things cheaper at Martin's. read more

Say what you want about Jersey, but hey... it's a Liquor Store with a built-in Dunkin Donuts. If they had scantily clad male models in here, they'd have to put a hotel next door! No deli. Just the Dunkin. The Dunkin is the usual: "I only want a dozen doughnuts, thanks. No, I don't care if I get four free if I buy more. Only a dozen. THERE ARE NOT THAT MANY KIDS IN THE CLASS! Just a Dozen Please! Any more than that, and the teacher will send ME to detention!" Can't comment on the liquor store service. I didn't ask questions, got what I wanted, paid for it. What does one buy for a pirate party? Jamaican beer, of course. Three and a half cases of Red Stripe from the back and a case of Newcastle later, we're set and cheerful about the rumless mojito mix. No need to buy more rum when there are 3 to 4 bottles at home. Martin's is nice and big inside. I was only surveying the beer on this, my first, occassion. Have to say an entire wall of fridges and then some of beer is more than I should ask for. However, I'd alphabetize the cases or group them geographically or by quality. That's the sort of person I am. For then it would be easier to see Martin's for all its many cans and bottle does not offer much from the eclectic or my preferred Belgian categories. And perhaps Martin would rather we not take notice of that. read more

I have never had warmer beer out of a refridgeration system in my life ! I went there twice to get a 30 pack of Coors Light and they were warm like room temperature ! I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they just put them in fridge. Third time I went back I opened the door and put my head in there. I would guess it was like 65 degrees in there. A normal system is cold like under 45 degrees. If you want WARM beer from a refridgerated system go there. Beer is nasty warm. Guess they keep their electricty costs down by keeping the fridge warm. JUST NASTY. Gotta take beer home and put in freezer for an hour before I can drink it. Never going there again ! read more

I have to say that I always was a big fan of Martins. They have a great selection of all kinds of alcohol. However, I am upset to see them price gouging. I am a big time bourbon fan and wanted to get a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle. Last year theY sold their bottles for Msrp and I was lucky enough to get a bottle of 23 year for $279. This year I go to the store and they have a bottle of the 20 year sitting in the shelf for $899! Pappy 20 year retails for $120-175 depending on location. I have seen stores force people to buy other things they cannot sell in order to buy pappy. I have seen other stores price gouge (all have which been reported to the distributors and Van Winkle distillery as well). It's just very VERY upsetting to see Martins succumb to this. I felt like this was necessary so others can hopefully avoid a store that does this. read more

Craft Beer Mecca! This place has everything from your normal run of the mill beers to the rare and limited releases! They also post daily updates to their facebook page when they get new shipments in! If you have any questions ask the bearded guy that works there. He is an EXCELLENT craft beer resource. read more

This used to be owned by my family... Named after my Grandfather Martin who i was not fortunate enough to know because he passed away before i was born but this was in our family for years. I used to love coming in to town and having an awesome sandwich and soda from the deli and hanging with my uncles Larry and Richard who used to run the store. Now it seems that this is no longer how it used to be.. They replaced my grandfathers deli with a Dunkin Donuts? WTF super classy and nostalgic. Recently had a Bad experience with an over zealous cashier with no apparent customer service experience. This particular occasion I had a was accused of having a fake ID, and was treated as such I'm 30 years old. This particular cashier looks at my DL uses the anti fraud ID light which showed the hologram, googles my ID type and looks inside of a recently issued state ID book. All awhile no form of communication was given to as to what the issue was with my ID. Martin's you all have lost a customer. read more

very accommodating. if you need a delivery and it shows the only available date is the "next day", give them a call anyway and ask if they could come out on a 'same day' notice. they frikkin' will. i love it. i've done this twice where the only delivery date available was late the next day, i gave them a call if they could somehow deliver today and they said "no problem". Martin's Liquors is your go-to, last minute destination if you need an order yesterday. 5 stars. read more

I was looking for a beer as part of a Christmas gift for my husband. I called Martin's and was so happy to learn they had it in stock. I explained that I live in DC and had a long drive to NJ for retrieval and the staff was kind enough to locate the beer and hold it at the counter for me. The weather was horrible and it took me 5.5 hours to get there. Upon arrival, it was there , the staff was friendly, and the Manager Frank was a tremendous help. Don't hesitate to shop at Martin's. The drive was worth it and so is my man. read more

Really good selection - they've expanded their beer section. Found Jefferson's reserve VSB bourbon there, which is tough to find elsewhere. Good experiences except for one - last time I was there, I felt like employees were following me around the store to see if I was going to steal anything. Not a great vibe. read more
