I feel SCAMMED! I had two separate outlets stop working in…read moremy house (one on back patio, other in ceiling for garage door). Weird! I checked breakers nothing tripped. I look around my house for gfi. I even went out and bought two new breakers at home depot and replaced at electric panel (it's not hard only 3 screws) because they are dual function and had a light on when I reset. Thought it maybe they were bad. Still didn't fix. Finally call Mr electrician. Showed up next day. He arrives and tells my wife (screenshot of $320 fee of) it's a $320 dollar diagnostic fee just to find problem. Whatever I need it fixed. I arrive home ten minutes later. Ask him what's wrong? He won't tell me the problem until I sign/pay for work. Keeps saying there's a short somewhere he has to find. Red flags going off like crazy at this point, but I need my garage to work. Talks me into buying their "silver" package that includes a surge protector to get my money's worth. He says those are normally $600 on their own (which is a $70 part at home depot and 10 minutes install). I ask multiple times how is this fixing the outlet? I'll show you when I'm done so you can fix if happens again. At that moment I knew I got scammed (already paid)and it was gfi's I couldn't find. He shows me an outlet outside, and one in my garage behind my safe amd tells me "you should've looked better". I was pretty livid that I paid $719 for two button presses and a $69 Siemens surge protector (in stock at Home Depot) that I called and spoke with Bobby the manager. A bunch of excuses, you knew price before signing explanations, and finally I'm sorry you feel this way (if I knew they'd charge hundreds of dollars to push two buttons I would've sent them packing). I finally said good day to him and came to realize that this is just a predatory company. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU HAVE A SAM'S CLUB SIZE BOTTLE OF LUBE!!
