So I started checking her work and asked her if she could clean the wall/window edges etc as well. But she refused because she had finished the work I told her earlier (which was just the order of cleaning) and she had reported to the company that she was done. I would have messed her up if I asked her to do stay for full three hours. Those were exactly her words! How rude! I will never try this company ever.

Booking online is pretty easy but be wary of the time selection -- apparently the option I chose online is not one honored by the company?? I am pretty understanding and had no time constraints so I was not bothered by the late arrival ( approx 15 min), but I was a little shocked when she started wrapping up early ( she didnt want to be late for her next client....lucky them) So technically, I lost about 20-25 min of service time. She pretty much did everything I asked, except for inside of the fridge. Nothing was perfect, but a good job none-the-less. She didnt return everything to its original placement but her "redecorating" was pretty cute! I would use the services again, being more adamant about directions.

Soap debris was left under the soap dishes, bathroom scale was left dusty, bathroom did not look like anything was done to it other than the tub. The same for the kitchen. She did do a good job cleaning the windows. The company offered me a discount to use them again and I said ok I will try another person. I received an email 4 days prior to my appointment and then a day prior to my appointment but then on the day no one showed up. When I called, I was told that there was a mix up in the schedule. I will not attempt to use Checklist maids again. The customer service was very nice and helpful but I was very unimpressed with the cleaning service.

Tracey…read moreseemed nice enough when I was booking my first appointment with NLZ but I was seriously mistaken about her and this business. First of all I was given a price quote after I filled out a questionnaire about my cleaning needs and texted photos of my house to Tracey. I was required to prepay the quoted price before the cleaners arrived which seemed a bit odd but whatever. It was all downhill from there. Sorry in advance for the long review but please learn from my mistake. Here's some details of my terrible experience with NLZ: * My 2 cleaning people arrived 40 minutes late for the 3 hours of cleaning I prepaid for. They were rude and acted like they didn't understand a word I was saying and just kept talking to each other in Spanish ( unfortunately I don't speak Spanish at all). They blew off my requests and were very obviously rushing and doing an awful job. * I callec Tracey at NLZ within 30 minutes of their arrival to say that I wasn't happy with the cleaning people at all. I texted her a picture of my "mopped" floor which was just wet and dirty and asked to have the job rescheduled. * Tracey suddenly become nasty and refused to cancel and reschedule the job I had already paid approximately $300.00. She claimed that she sent me excellent cleaning people and then we got "cut off". I tried calling back several times but got voice-mail. * The cleaning people were paid for 3 hours but after 2 hours of poor work one of the cleaning people was able to tell me in English that she's allergic to cats and had to leave early because of her allergies. I was completely upfront with Tracey about having a cat before the service was booked and even wrote it on the form I filled out before my appointment. * I took pictures of the poor cleaning job ( floors were soaking wet and not clean, crumbs under the microwave, bathroom mirror not wiped down and more) and emailed NLZ about my bad experience. * My complaint was never acknowledged and the next time I heard from NLZ was the following week when they charged a follow up cleaning service to my credit card without my authorization. Tracey answered my call to explain that when I filled out the online form I stated that I was interested in weekly cleaning and was booked for the following week because I stated in "the contract" that I wanted weekly help. It was an outright rip off and I had to get my bank involved because NLZ wouldn't refund me for the cleaning job I didn't want or receive.Their claim was that I ignored the email about my follow up visit and didn't cancel in advance so they weren't obligated to refund me. * Luckily my bank reversed the charges but I had to get a new debit card because of the unauthorized use and would never recommend NLZ to anyone.
