I've mentioned here before that I'm not a huge fan of hot subs. But, EoS has won me over. The Holiday Turkey Sandwich gets reviews as "the best sandwich I ever had" online so I wanted to try it. I make a mean turkey leftover sandwich so the first day I thought it was "ok". But the 2nd day I heated the other half up, and it had me SINGING. The sando's are tightly wrapped in paper and foil so they arrived in perfect shape even for take-out (delivery) across the city. I generally upgrade to "double meat" and eat half a sandwich at a time. I can't wait to try more varieties and definitely sink my teeth into another 1762.

Found this place on yelp and decided to check it out. The location is in this nice walkable shopping center where we were able to pick up some other things for our trip. The staff was friendly and walked us through the menu and sides as it was a little slow when we got there. The food came out quick and was really good. I like, what we in the US call a "French dip", but in French speaking places seems to just be called a "beef dip". Their sign said it was the best beef dip in Calgary, and it was really good. The sides were also quite good. My kids got the kids meals and liked them as well. All in all a good spot.

As someone who's had my fair share of Loco Moco in Hawaii (it's my go-to breakfast item whenever I visit the islands), I was extremely excited to try it here in Calgary. I couldn't stop raving about it, and my guest was equally impressed. We ordered 2 OG Cheeseburgers, Bacon Double Cheeseburger, High Priest, 2 fries, and a strawberry milkshake. Everything was good. I thought the High Priest could have used more secret sauce. Fries were great. Family ate everything up. While the food was good I'm not sure if we'd be back as it's quite far from where we are and there are lots of burger places in between. No extra meat or cheese needed - these are hefty lasagnas. Huge selection of olive oils, and enough selections. To make one heck of a snacking platter or gift basket! While olives, sun-dried tomatoes, so many other jars of amazing condiments are in stock! A whole shelving unit of Gluten Free dried pastas and sauces to choose from . They serve the same pasta in their gluten free lasagna they sell on their shelves. Lunch sandwiches, a super duper espresso machine, this is a gem of the neighborhood. Whenever we visit Calgary we stop in and buy a few months worth of frozen gluten-free lasagnas!
