She still made a purchase but wishes she did not. If your hours state you are open until 6, you should not expect customers to be finished shopping until then. If you want to be out the door by 6, close at 5:30. She has plenty of money to spend and loves antiques but obviously will not be back. We antique a great deal and most places we go tell us to take our time even if it is closing time. We always get done and are out by the time stated on the door because we understand wanting to go home at the end of the day.

They post regularly via their Facebook page with many ongoing booth updates and all booths are refreshed monthly, usually the first of the month. People get super-excited about the booth resets that are filled with seasonal upcycled and original decor. This is a female-owned business! So, like a hawk, I have been looking for a 1950s stepback hutch for years and was delighted to find one that she had posted (within 24 hours) was still available. If you call they will honor a 24-hour hold to allow you to inspect in person and buy the item or you may buy over the phone. If the item is over $100 their policy allows Layaway for 30 days with 50% down and 50% in 30 days, with no refunds or exchanges. Items are sold as-is and you must have an ID when picking up your item. I saw. I called. 10 people inquired behind me. Upon inspection the next day, I found the hutch was *exactly* what I was looking for and the price was competitive compared to online offerings and other area shops. The shop owner didn't have any references for movers, so I contacted movers I've used many times over the past two years to schedule a moving day within my window. This was a somewhat pricey move, so if you're without a personal truck and people to help move figure that cost into the price before buying. I knew I wanted this piece and had a place for it, so it wasn't a consideration before buying. When I had a date for the move, I called so they could expect me and received pickup instructions. I finished paying for the piece the day before the move, and couldn't have been more delighted with the whole buying, layaway, and moving process. I recommend using covered moving and/or wrapping furniture whether you are self-moving or hiring a company. Highway 43 can be busy with commercial traffic. If your move gets delayed beyond the 30-day window, they do assess storage fees by the day at that time. Super cute shop, with a friendly owner who will work with you, and I'm keeping my eyes peeled for new seasonal treasures featured via their Facebook page that has a 4.8/5 Facebook review rating and 15,000 followers.
