A seriously credible vein surgeon…read more He is honest. He listens. If his recommedation is different than yours he will take as long as you need to explain the choices available to you. You only do what he says after you have considered all of the other options and decided to follow his plan. Side options will always be on the menu - and you will always have alternative choices available. * * * My leg was not standard and it posed major obstacles under the skin. The veins were all convoluted like balls of yarn. It was hard for the doctor to get to where he had to make his changes. Other veins got worked into the deal getting treatments that paralleled those happening in the main operation. Other views were blocking the view and blocking the operation making the procedure complicated and painful The anaesthesioligst who was Dr Brenner himself had to put anaesthesia is some unexpected places. They coundn't get everything frozen or sleepy like they wantd to. So that procedure was far more painful than normal and far more painful than expected. All of the other operations have been normal making them both comfortable and effective. Veins were located in the right place and they did what they were told. So I had three operations on my right leg and a fourth is planned to finish old business. Results: The operation is meant to treat edema. The swellling and adema have gone down much more slowly that would be the case in a normal operiation. The known normal operations have generally had the desired results. My leg that was NOT operated on has also shown improvement That could mean none of my operations did anything However, I am getting fatter and that could make things worse in both legs. So I am inclined to give Dr Brenning credit for the changes in both legs. When the body feels fluid flowing differently in one part of the body, it can steer other parts to make the same innovation. * * * All in all, my operations have been of mixed effectiveness ... But I think Dr Brenner is fine. I think my legs are messy, weird and make it hard for him to work. I see clear and unquestionable signs of improvement. My rate of improvement is slower than what you get in the text books. My read would be if Brenner can get good results with a mess like me - he should be able to do good things for you too. And he does give you choices. You will know what you are choosing an what will happen. Most people are normal and most should have simple wonderful good results under his care.

I have gone through two procedures with the doctor the first one was on the lane with the discolored foot and the procedure really helped with the discoloration and the fatigue I was filling in my leg. I went in today for some additional work on the lower part of that leg. I can't wait to do the next leg. Looking back I should've done this a long time ago. Tom Guedea

Staff was super friendly and professional. They had emailed me new patient forms so I already had those filled out when I got there. That made the whole check in procedure easier. Being a nurse for almost 30 years- I have a very serious problem with people who don't introduce themselves and explain their role in the healthcare setting. If you are going to touch me, get my weight, blood pressure and ask me personal questions then you need to tell me your name and that you are the assistant. Period. Once again- I had to kindly ask the name of the person who invited me back to do the aforementioned things- which is the reason for 4 stars and not 5. The office facilities were very comfortable and inviting. Dr. Gotvald was very professional and explained things very well. We went ahead and did treatment for spider veins on my cheeks and Nose from sun damage and they are healing but still a bit of a ruddy appearance. He was very rebooting and gentle. Also of note- the staff was up front with me a few days ahead of time about this cosmetic procedure so I knew exactly how much I would be paying which was helpful. I will be going back in a couple of weeks for ultrasound oz my legs to see the extent of this gracious gift of varicose veins in my legs bequeathed to me by my mother, and to form a treatment plan. I will update the review at that time.

From easing my nerves to being patient with my fear of needles-allll the way to the work that was performed: perfection. I've tried a few different places around New Braunfels since then due to their advertisements of "toxin Tuesdays" which was a total scam. Their work is not good, and I always end up coming back here to have everything done the right way. I have even tried having filler done by a dermatologist out of Austin who has no business injecting any paying customer. (Lesson learned) Injections are truly an art: one of which Laura has mastered! Save yourself the money, time, and frustration when it comes to Botox or filler and go see Laura. She is amazing and has the eye and knowledge needed to make women look and feel their best! I'm so thankful for every experience I've had at this establishment from the moment I walk in the door to the moment I leave. I recently started Dialysis with a chest catheter, and needed evaluation to be placed with a fistula or graft in my arm. It took my Dialysis clinic 3 times contacting them before they ever reached out to me for an ACTUAL appointment. On top of that, I had an appointment at around 10:30 one morning. Not bad right? I didn't get seen until 1pm and I arrived an hour early. I was fine with it, at least I was seen and we scheduled the surgery for next Monday right? They tell me to expect a call to confirm the appointment. The date for the surgery is rolling around and I STILL haven't received a confirmation call so I start getting worried. I go ahead and call them to make sure we are still good, and they tell me I'm not even in the system!!! I waited 3 hours in their office to talk to someone well past the scheduled time for 20 mins, and they can't even schedule me correctly??? They have made this surgery incredibly stressful, and I'm still not sure when or if its going to happen at this point as they said they would have someone call me back TODAY - 2 minutes before they close. Super. If they actually do call me back today, I'll change my review.
