The management is top heavy (too many directors, none of which are particularly knowledgeable), and they are not kind or warm and welcoming. I agree with another reviewer in that any question or inquiry was received with attitude and no compassion. I also strongly disagreed with their cell phone policy. For some reason, the teachers are allowed to keep their phones on them, which proved to be a massive distraction. I'm can't count the times I walked by a class where a teacher was scrolling their feeds and babies/toddlers were on the other side of the room, unsupervised. I previously attended a different Goddard school which enforced their no cell phone policy and I was shocked to see this policy was not enforced here as well. The teachers we had were fine, but one in particular was very unfriendly to my son. None of us quite liked her. The food provided is alright, but beware... The milk is advertised as being organic and I saw the gallon jugs which were plain ol prairie farms brand. I also agree with another reviewer about the cleanliness - the bathrooms were frequently out of soap/toilet paper/paper towels, and the landscaping was rarely touched- overgrown bushes and litter everywhere. In all, I would recommend it for the curriculum but not much else!

All of the staff - from the front desk staff, to the directors, to the cooks, and the teachers are incredibly kind. patient, and dedicated. Not only does every staff member know my daughter's name personally, they also greet my husband and I by name at pick up and drop off. It is truly a Kiddie Academy family. All the teachers are great at communication and you receive several picture updates throughout the day. When my daughter was younger, her teachers would chat with me through the app and ease any questions or concerns I had. Our daughter has transitioned into the toddler room but still loves her infant room teachers and I think that says a lot about the impact they have made. My son started at American Butterfly Daycare at 8 weeks old and he is now 2yrs 8 months old. He loves Mrs. Darlene and Mr. Jerry so much. She has been great with him at every age. She has them do crafts, takes them for walks, takes them to the park, has them play outside. She takes pictures all day long that you can view on a shared app. She is helpful and accommodating. Much in advance, she gives a list of days she is closed for the upcoming year, and is quick to communicate if there are any changes. She has helped me multiple times when I needed to do an early drop off and/or late pick up. Her prices are beyond reasonable. She loves my son and we love her. As a parent, it is concerning to be told that a very young child is showing a behavior they have never displayed before. This raises questions about how the situation was handled and what contributed to that response. I was also told that multiple calls and messages had been made to me, but I did not receive any phone calls or messages. If I had not been actively monitoring the live cameras and gone to the center myself, I am concerned that I would have been unaware of the situation for a much longer period. I also felt they expected far too much from a 2-year-old and treated normal toddler behavior like a major problem. Instead of properly redirecting and teaching him, they would take the easiest route. For example, I was told they let him color on himself with marker because it was "better than him hitting other kids." That isn't teaching--it's laziness. My son regularly came home extremely dirty despite having extra clothes in his cubby, and on one occasion came home with his underwear extremely soiled with stool, which made me question how closely he was being supervised. I repeatedly brought up concerns and rarely felt they were actually addressed. Overall, I felt like my son was blamed instead of being properly guided and cared for. I would not recommend this daycare.
