As a mother of a 2.5-year-old who has been attending Mary Sears daycare in Lockport since she was 10 months old, I can confidently say that this facility is exceptional. The staff at Mary Sears, particularly Ms. Creek who has been instrumental in my child's development in the two-year-old class, is phenomenal. She is incredibly patient, kind, and attentive to my child's needs. My daughter took to her IMMEDIATELY. Ms. Creek has gone above and beyond to make sure my child feels comfortable and safe while at daycare. (It is worth noting that we have had positive experiences in each age class thus far.) The environment at Mary Sears is warm, inviting, and nurturing. The facility is clean, organized, and has a wide variety of toys, books, and activities to keep my daughter engaged and stimulated. Both my kids have gone to Mary Sears in Lockport since they were only a few months old. We did our homework and looked at every school in the area when our daughter was born. We are so happy with our decision. When the Lemont school closed, we decided that we couldn't leave Mary Sears. We go out of our way to work each day to send our kids to the new Lockport school. I think that is very telling about the value and trust we have for the teachers and amazing director, Mrs. Adams! They love and care for our kids like their own, and we are so impressed with the caliber of the Mary Sears curriculum and offerings. My 3 year old plays piano and my 16 month old colors at a table! I have 2 children who have been attending Mary Sears since 2020, we absolutely love everyone there! Both of my children happily run in every morning to great their teachers. My oldest is in the 5yr old room with Mrs. Adams and Ms. Hadaad and she is learning so much (while having fun) and will definitely be ready for kindergarten this coming year! My youngest is in the 3yr old room with Ms. Destefano and Miss Wedic who are both amazing and patient with a very spirited 3yr old! Choosing who to leave your children with is always difficult decision and I'm so happy that we found and chose Mary Sears Children's Academy - Lockport. Amazing place to send your children(s). As a parent you only want the best for your kid(s). I researched local day cares for my daughter who was a year and half at the time. After much research and reading reviews, I found Mary Sears was place to send her. My daughter now 4 years old, I'm am still very pleased with this place. They have been amazing and I have watched my daughter grow not only with her education but also her social skills. The staff has been such a pleasure to work with. We have been apart of the Mary Sears family for two years now. Each classroom my daughter has been in has had the most amazing teachers. She is currently with Mrs. Creek and Mrs. Ashley in room 3A and I could not be happier. She wakes up every morning chanting "school day", talks about her teachers and her friends and has grown and learned so much during her time in their classroom. When I tell others about how many activities she does there people are blown away. There are character visits to pony rides to holiday parties and soccer, dance, gymnastics and music class. Each day is a new surprise to what the day will bring. We will be very fortunate to have any of our future babies attend Mary Sears! read more

My son absolutely loves the daycare. He does little activities and since he started last year upon it opening, he has learned a lot. He can now count up to 20 and knows his ABC's. Aside from that he can identify words just by some of the letters. The teachers are all nice and friendly . There are activities for each day that has a theme to go with it. The director of the faculty Mrs. Adams is very nice, pleasant and always a pleasure to talk to. One of the best things that I like about the academy aside from the staff is the field trips and the learning actives that appeals to the students. read more

My daughter Khloe has been going to Mary Sears Children's Academy since she was 2yrs old. Her dad and I love how much Mary Sears has invested in our daughter. She has learned so much!
