We are so happy with our decision to enroll our boys in KLA. After moving three times in 2 years for my husband's job, we were excited to find a stable program for our boys. I am a stay at home Mom, so I needed to find a truly amazing program if I was going to justify spending money on a preschool program. We've had the boys enrolled in programs that were just more like "babysitting". KLA is not that kind of place. They provide an environment that stimulates and encourages children's curiosity. The facility is beautiful and feels so peaceful and warm. Prior to enrolling your kids, they were invited to an "exploration day" just to see how they liked the school. I was so happy to see that on that day, my son's classroom took a walking fieldtrip to the retirement community next door. They visited and did a craft project with some of the elderly residents. It was so heartwarming and I could tell that very first day that KLA is focused on so much more than academics alone. I felt that field trips of that nature teach the kids to be compassionate and helpful and to take time to notice people in your community. It was amazing. On their first official day of school, when I was picking up my oldest son at the end of the day, I came in the room and he started to tear up. He had such a great day that he didn't want to leave! His teacher Mrs. Kelly said that was about the best compliment she could receive. My son wakes on school days ready to go see his teacher, it's like they bonded from day one! I can tell that she genuinely loves the children in her class. My two younger sons are twins and they are in Ms. Tina and Ms. Debbie's class. One of my twins is very shy and apprehensive about new experiences, so I was a little worried about how he'd react to a new school. Within one day, he was walking into the classroom without tears. Although he doesn't talk much, I can tell he is absorbing things and learning from his teachers. He walks into the classroom and heads right to the sink to wash his hands and I am able to walk out of the room without any tears from him. I'm so glad we've found a place where he is comfortable and can be around caring adults and have friends his own age without anxiety! It's truly been a blessing for him and us. His twin brother is very outgoing and wakes up early on school days, he loves everything about his new school. I love that the teachers treat the twins as individuals. They are able to nap or sit near each other but sometimes they are so "in tune" with each other that it's easy for them to tune others out and end up not following instruction. The teachers are so good about helping them succeed as individuals and not allow their dependency on each other to hold them back. It's something I have struggled with as a stay at home Mom. I feel like Ms. Debbie is able to teach them social skills that I haven't been able to and I'm so thankful for her help! That's the thing about the teachers at KLA, they are all so loving and the environment truly promotes love and learning. It is something you have to see to understand. I also have to say, I'm so relieve to have my boys at a school where the staff (other than teachers) is so helpful. They respond to my questions and are always available to help in any way they can. We have been with KLA for almost two year and are extremely happy with the philosophy and community they've created there. I have been a working mother since ever and my son started going to daycare since he was one year old, we started in Kiddie Academy but then things changed in a not positive way and I urgently was looking for a change and I thank god I found KLA which I always say it has been the best change ever for my son... Right now my son is at 3s room and have been happy during the entire journey. The teachers and administration treat the all of the children as their own, and the knowledge my young children bring home every day is amazing. Starting with the staff in when you get in Ms Morgan is so charm and kind, she is always available to answer all your questions in the best way possible :) Ms Stephanie is always with a smile in her face and always ready to help ...Ms Carrie is always kind ...Ms Erika the director is a wonderful leader she always know what is happening to every child and when it is needed talks to the parents making us feel secure and comfortable on our child's development Ms. Liz , Ms. Alyssa and Ms. Destiny are so lovely and fantastic. I normally pick up my son almost at the closing time and every time I have a hard time to make him leave with me...that means he loves the school and he has named KLA his home so I cant be more thankful for the environment and the teachers that take care of him :) Ms. Amanda and Ms Becca now lead the older 3s class and has been a great partnership with them. They are loving and patient but is great with molding manners and listening skills actually It is very easy to work with both of them on a daily basis to supervise my child's development. They go above and beyond hand-writing a note every day explaining how the day went the ups and downs and the corrections or rewards that he received,because many times when I pick up my son they already left, thanks to them my son have improved in a lot of areas in such short period of time and that is thanks to the devotion, compromise and dedication of Ms Amanda and Ms Becca. My son absolutely adore them. Ms. Lucy is adorable she is so sweet and patient with all the kids...she teaches Spanish and having a Hispanic heritage it is crucial that my son learns Spanish at school so I love having her as Spanish teacher :) Gracias Miss Lucy Ms Kimberly and Ms Nikki are in the other 3s classroom they are fantastic everytime that my son interacts with them he is very happy and he know them perfectly ... I could truly go on and on about about the teachers and staff at KLA. As a working parent you tend to feel guilty about leaving your kids on a daily basis. However, after so much time spent at KLA, I actually feel a little guilty on the days they are NOT there because I know they are probably having more fun and are learning more when they are there! You can feel confident that your children are in great hands when you are gone. Just don't feel bad when they cry when you come to pick them up because they don't want to leave... We love this school and Miss Tina! Our almost 4 year old has been going for just over a year now, and we can't be happier with the choice we made. I was very interested in the Reggio Emilia approach and was doing quite a bit of research regarding different approaches to early childhood education (play-based learning, Montessori, and Reggio Emilia) when I happened upon KLA. After looking at a few schools around the area, we decided on KLA. The school itself is beautiful; in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, the school and its environment acts as a part of the learning process- much like another "teacher." KLA is light, bright, and airy. The teaching process utilized in the Reggio Emilia style is child centered- teachers have an "outline" of what the students should be learning, but the process is through projects the children are interested in and vote on as a group, so the learning process is truly child centered. The teachers themselves are wonderful. Her teacher, Miss Tina, is so fantastic with her kids. It's so great to see her interact with the kids the way she does. My husband also loves the way they teach the kids and the organization of the school itself. I also have to mention Miss Andrea- she was our daughter's teacher in the 2s and it is clear that she loves all the children she works with and that they love her as well. Another aspect of the school we appreciate is the opportunity for her to participate in enrichment programs. She's currently enrolled in music and art- an opportunity that she possibly wouldn't have if they weren't offered through the school since my husband and I both work irregular schedules. I love seeing the daily highlights and the class projections- it gives us the opportunity to see what the kids are working on and we get to see them in action through the highlights. Our little one has really blossomed in the past year. Her previous day care wasn't challenging enough for her and her learning had become somewhat stagnant. At KLA, they focus on ensuring each child is progressing at a pace that is appropriate for them. I can't recommend the school highly enough. read more

KLA Plainfield has been a community we didn't know we were missing. After trying at-home care for a few months, my husband and I were pressed to find more reliable options. This was the second daycare we toured, and we were surprised at how quickly we felt at-ease. After Principal Shannon gave us a tour of the classrooms and curriculum, we knew that they were fully committed to the best experience for both parents and children. I expected the first month to be rougher, but in truth it wasn't. I got frequent updates of how my son was doing after drop off from Ms. Karen and Ms. Shannon, along with photos of our little guy assimilating in his new environment. I also enjoyed seeing the photos from the Vrutti app of class activities and the children playing with each other. I'd always hold my breath to see our son's nap duration, but I was surprised at how well he was sleeping so soon. We thought we would ease into daycare with a 3 day a week schedule, but our only regret is not going 5 days sooner! My husband and I can now work soundly knowing our child is in extremely capable hands. All the staff are very forthcoming as well if your child seems off/sick, had an accident, etc. There is a strong culture of honesty and integrity here. So after almost 4 months, I can confidently say the staff at KLA have been a true blessing. We are not stressed about call-offs or our son being bored at home anymore with the same stations. He is so advanced at 14 months, learning how to hold pencils and playing with his friends in class. Baby Nido teachers Ms. Sayantani, Ms. Cristina, and Ms. Eva are the dream team. Leaving your kids with non-family can be difficult in any capacity, but the Baby Nido teachers are true professionals. They are confident with the kids and you can tell they really enjoy what they do. All of this to say--you will meet some fantastic staff members here at KLA as well as great parents. Don't struggle alone, don't stress to be an employer on top of your full time job... just give KLA a shot and you will find yourself to be as relieved as we were read more

It's hard to pinpoint a specific great teacher or attribute of this school because there are just so many. I'll start with why I chose KLA for my son, Jaxson. He was 17 months old and I toured the Nido class. Ms Tracy had a clear and genuine love for her toddlers. Patient and loving. The classroom sizes helped too but Tracy was the biggest reason I chose KLA. For the next 8 months Tracy never broke character and continues to this day to impress me with her child whispering ways. When Jaxson began to talk he said his favorite teacher was Miss Tiffany. I didn't get to know her as well but you can't deny the honesty of a toddler. Jaxson is now 2 1/2 and is in a classroom with Ms Andrea. Andrea has been amazingly patient with helping Jaxson potty train. With all of the outfit changes and the encouragement I am blown away by how she handles it with a classroom full of potty training toddlers! Her firm but loving tone is exactly what the twos need when they are in their classic "terrible" state. I am still working on my balance but she has mastered it. Jaxson tells me he loves Andrea and Lucy. I can't complete my review without giving recognition to Ms Fayeza. My husband and I each have an hour commute to work so Jaxson is one of the first kids dropped off. Since he was a Nido he has looked forward to mornings with his buddy Ms Fayeza while he waits for his regular teacher to arrive. He gives her a big hug every morning and she smiles and comments on his outfit or his favorite lovie for the day. She is amazing with him. I can't wait for him to be in her class. I am always confident that he is surrounded by love and kindness whenever I leave him. Being a working mom means missing a lot of the little things in your child's life but KLA gives us the teachers, the curriculum, and the online access/daily updates to make our working days a little brighter and it eases our minds to know that our children are not at a disadvantage compared to stay at home mom kids. read more

I have seen my son come a long way while attending the KLA School. He is 3 years old and in Ms. Stephanie's class. He started telling me all the different trucks he sees on the road and what colors they are, he's counting to 10 and sometimes beyond that, and he tries to tell me what day of the week and month it is (we are still working on that one but at least he knows the names of the month and week). Ms. Stephanie try's to take the children's interests and make them into learning experiences. One example would be bugs and seeing how they crawl into the ground to get out of the sun. My son LOVES bugs to the point hes obsess and loved this experiment she did that day. I also have a 5 year old daughter in Ms. Heather and Ms. Caitlin's class. Since starting at the school my daughter has learned several site words to the point she can almost read level one site word books on her own, her writing has improved greatly with spelling of words, memorizing her address, and just getting her fully ready for Kindergarten this fall. Her teachers are so sweet and they definitely put the children needs and education as top priority. They make sure no one is being left behind or they help that child get caught up. My daughter gets excited to come to school everyday and see what her day is going to be all about. KLA's Reggio philosophy is truly different than any other school I have experienced so far. They focus on the children s interests and teach them through those interests. My husband and I are extremely happy with our decision to send our 2 kids to KLA. Every single teacher is amazing, and both of our kids have learned so much from them. Ms. Tracy is one of the sweetest teachers I have ever met, and it is very obvious that she loves her job. My daughter Cami is currently in Ms. Andrea's class, and she loves her. Ms. Andrea is very patient and kind. Cami is currently potty training, and Ms. Andrea is very helpful and encouraging, which also makes it easier for us at home with potty training. Ms. Andrea is very fun and creative, and I know that Cami looks forward to going to school every day. My son Ben is in Ms. Fayeza's class. He is excited to go to school every day, and he loves telling me about his day when I pick him up. Ms. Fayeza has taught Ben so much, and I am very grateful for that. KLA has made my kids enjoy learning, which is great! I love the fact that I never have to feel uneasy or nervous about my kids when they are at KLA. Switching to KLA has been my best decision ever. My daughter now begs to go to school even on days off! As a working mom, it is reassuring to know that when I drop my daughter off in the morning, she will be well fed (she loves the organic meals that are catered in), be in a loving environment, and explore/create topics that interest her. I am greeted each day by friendly staff and it is reassuring that they know and care about my daughter's well-being. KLA goes out of their way to create an organized, creative, unified school. The students all interact with each other as though they are a second family. KLA focuses on social skills, academics, and most importantly giving back to the community. My daughter enjoys being creative, learning Spanish, playing at the beautiful playground, and adores every teacher and staff member in the building. our kids started KLA in spring of 2014 and it has been great experience. Kla school is very clean and provide warm environment for kids. our both sons are just so happy at the end of the day when we go pick them up! Arjun started in Nido class and took little time to adjust but the transition process was easier with Ms tracy's caring nature. then he went to Ms Andrea's class. Ms andrea is caring, kind, patient, creative and fun. Arnav started in 4s in Mrs. Kelly's class. she is just great as what parent expect teacher to be! I heard about Reggio philosopy but never experieced it before starting KLA. Arnav has been curious about evearything and ask lots of questions. Being in Mrs Kelly's classroom, Arnav has developed love for learning which is very important for his age, Also decipline and he has develop a personality of helping others is great. I feel so fortunate to have found a school that not only challenges my children academically, but also fosters creativity, independence, leadership, curiosity, and a passion for learning. My two school age children are excited and eager to attend, and have built a strong connection to the classroom thanks to the positive and supportive culture that the teacher has fostered. They have had opportunities to do entrepreneurship, project-based research studies, STEM activities, engineering, as well as service projects. My daughter loves the atelier (art studio), and the opportunity to hands-on science projects. My son loves the nature based playground, and doing work in the garden. It really is an extraordinary school, filled with many unique benefits. The staff are all professionals with years of experience and training that far exceeds the minimum state standards. My son Alex had an exploration day on Monday, we are not happy with his current schooling and are looking for a change. I know he was scared at first since this was a new school, but Miss Fayeza made him feel welcomed and got him interested in the classroom right away. He especially loved working at the light table with the magnetic blocks. I love that he has not stopped talking about Miss Kelly, this shows me how much the educators are involved with the students. He said "Miss Kelly took me on a trip to make snakes, I had lot's of fun." My son had his first field trip with KLA and he was so excited. I love that this is a Reggio inspired school and I can tell how much the educators and the rest of the staff are so involved. My son will be starting in 2 weeks and we couldn't be happier. We absolutely love KLA!! Both of our children (3 1/2 yrs and 19 months) are so happy to go to school every day. We feel very fortunate to have found a school where we know our children are so content. The school philosophy actively fosters the creativity and natural love of learning in children... and we have seen them both blossom. Our three year old adores his teacher 'Ms. Debbie' - and we have found her to be an enthusiastic educator and an amazing communicator. She actively works with parents on the development of the children. Our toddler also adores her teacher, 'Ms. Tracey', who is wonderfully patient, calm and caring. We've been sending our kids to KLA for almost 6 years straight between our two kids. The staff there are all so kind that it feels like we are part of a family. I'm especially thankful for Miss Heather and Miss Rhonda in the kindergarten/school age classrooms. Even during the COVID-19 shut-down, they provided opportunities for daily video check-ins with the kids where they would read books, sing, do crafts, and other fun activities. Ms. Heather even mailed a personal letter to our son and included seeds to plant in our garden, since the kids wouldn't be able to do their regular spring planting in the KLA garden this year. We enjoy having our son attend KLA. The Reggio Emilia curriculum offers an opportunity for our son to learn hands on through experiential learning which has been especially helpful since his speech and language is still emerging. Ms. Kimberly and Ms. Nicki are loving and attentive teachers that are always willing to support whatever we need to ensure our son is happy while at school. The staff are always helpful and friendly! Everyone there seems to focus on ensuring the parents feel safe leaving their children in their care and most importantly that the children are happy little learners! My wife and I spent a lot of time looking at different options for enrolling our daughter. In the end, we decided on KLA. We are so glad with our decision. She loves her school and teachers. Our four year-old loves KLA! He misses school and he especially misses his 4's B teachers, Ms. Kelly and Ms. Megan. He also misses his Spanish teacher, Ms. Lucy. I can't say enough great things about KLA School Plainfield! My son attended as a toddler and they were absolutely amazing. We loved every teacher and staff member. The teachers are so amazing and attentive, the staff is so friendly and everyone goes above and beyond what one would expect. Ms. Cristina and all the teachers from Baby Nido are the best. My child had a blast to be there. I was so nervous when I took my 5 months old son to the Day Care that didn't know what to do. The teachers made sure to communicate with me all the time, giving updates and taking care of Alex going with his own schedule. I trusted them and wasn't disappointed.
