Thanks for the order advice! My husband was waiting for his chicken here in Florida. The food lost it's temp but I was able to regain total freshness from the oven. Very poor customer service, was yelled we are closed through a closed window an hour before closing

My order was incorrect when I got ready to eat it so I returned it and the manager refused to correct my order said I had waited to long to return it. There was no written policy just something that was made up because she stated to me that I just wanted a free meal. I told here that I was returning the food, She also stated that the food was cold and soggy and could not be served. I have never seen a restaurant serve food that was returned but this one does per the manager who refused to give me her name and after I refused to leave the line the police were called and I was told to leave. We live in Brunswick and every time we come to Waycross we like to go to Maryland's. We got there at 8:30 pm. There sign say they are open until 9pm. When we got there the lobby doors were already locked and we were told we would have to go through the drive through. We told the cashier and manager we had 6 separate orders to place. We got informed that they only had a little bit of chicken left and they would not cool anymore. So we had to get what they had left. Both cashier and manager could care less. Bad attitude. We informed them there was 2 more cars behind us. She said oh well we hear it all the time. If you say your open until 9 then you should stay open and serve your guest until then. Instead of making sure your out by 9. So unprofessional. So dissapponined. read more

This restaurant has been a staple of the Waycross community for years. I knew the previous owners and I can honestly say that they didn't do nearly as much for the community as the current owner has. I have seen negative reviews on Alicia and her team and I know that they are not fair or a representation of who she is. We have people complaining that their chicken was not hot enough or they wanted to see the chicken. This is a restaurant and neither of these ladies are from here. Since they couldn't get their way want do they do???? "PLAY THE RACE CARD". This is 2019, if you feel the need to play the card, make sure it's legitimate. Alicia, James nor anyone in their family has a racist bone in their body. I doubt very seriously if screaming race has gotten you anything special in Valdosta or South Carolina. The lady from Valdosta is suppose to be a religious woman, well I think you need to go back to the altar. Matthew 7:15 warned us to "beware of false prophets which come to you in sheep's clothing"The other lady drove in for a funeral, but it's obvious she didn't listen to the preacher. The sad part is she posted pictures of herself posing with the city police department, especially the only policeman on the force that has not figured out what to do with his hands except put them in his pockets. The owner of the store called the police to have this woman removed, but the person causing the problem posted the selfie's of her and the policemen smiling. I think those two officers need to go back and read up on what their responsibilities are. read more

I go here WEEKLY! I've eaten Maryland since I was little! By far the BEST fried chicken in South Georgia. Try the chicken legs, coleslaw, and fries. The biscuits are also really good! No Maryland dinner is complete without Mrs. Robins sweet tea! read more
