Ruby Tuesday needs to do better, 1st tried ordering on the app but there isn't a place to add payment, so I sent my husband to do a takeout order. The quality of the 6oz steak POOR, more fat than edible meat, I couldn't eat mine do to all the salt on mine, my ribs aren't even edible do to the rotten meat taste, his ribs couldn't even tell if they were edible do to all the seasoning on them, ( he ordered the dry rub) EXTREMLY too much, my baked potato the salt that was put on the outside got on my broccoli, couldn't eat that. I will try to get to the point. Our server was slow and didn't check in with us enough in regards to filling our beverages while we wait for dinner. We noticed that she had a booth and was sitting there around the corner from us... Anyway my smoked Burger was dry and disappointing. The onion rings were good. We had potato skins and they were pretty good. My main complaint is how filthy this restaurant is. The carpets are disgusting. Sticky tables. I ordered 2 ribeyes and they were out so we got sirloins, no problem. they were supposed to be medium rare and came out raw. we also had loaded potatoes with no sour cream on one. this is a togo order, sour cream shouldn't be on the potato's anyways, they should be on the side. i get the sirloins and they are both unevenly overcooked. not sure why i paid $40 for food that wasn't cooked right. I've gone to this restaurant twice in the last two weeks. The first time I ordered the sticky ribs with salad bar and my bf had the ribeye with salad bar. My sticky ribs were cooked perfectly and the salad bar was great as usual. My bf ribeye was cooked to perfection and juicy. Second time I had the hickory bourbon chicken. The chicken was so tasty! My bf got the ribeye again because he liked it so much the first time. Got the salad bar the second time too. The salad bar was well stocked and looked fresh, neat and clean. Both times we had a fabulous waitress who brought our food out quickly. Food was hot and very good. Second time the manager checked on us and we were able to tell him how great everything was. Overall really good customer service, great food and good atmosphere. We will definitely be back! read more

Then a customer sitting around the corner said that service is really slow and she had been waiting over an hour to get her food. The salad bar is incredibly fresh and clean!! Servers are friendly. The kitchen takes a little long getting food out, but worth the wait.

The cheese steak sandwiches that we ordered were dry and chewy and the fries were peppered all over making them inedible,it was cold to the touch on certain end like they were microwaved,and tasted like cardboard so my guess they were frozen,re seasoned to the extreme,and thrown into a microwave.They probably had to do that in support of I was inside the To-Go section for 3 minutes and got my order inter the service was pretty decent. Order taken..no attempt at service. .. Chicken Bella was oversalted and it appeared minced garlic poured in it..close to inedible. .. Party of 5, not a busy evening. We waited awhile for them to get a table for us. We were sat at 2 tables pushed together with five chairs. The tables were two different heights and one seat was on the inch ridge were the two tables were pushed together & the vinyl cover on the table was filthy. Stains and food all over. I noticed several round five top tables in another section and asked if we could be moved there. We were then moved to a proper five top, unfortunately that table was also dirty. Our menus were sticky, the salt and pepper grinder greasy. The salad bar, I had to put four dirty plates to the side before finding a clean one. The iceberg lettuce was very brown. Even though there was three hostesses standing around, the floor around the salad bar was very greasy and slippery. Many of the items on the bar were mixed and several of the dressing ladles had dressing all over the handles. It's unfortunate because our food from the kitchen was decent. Our server was wonderful, very attentive, kept our glasses full. BTW, who designs a restaurant where people are walking right by the salad bar, removing jackets and shaking umbrellas within inches of food? It's gross and a slip hazard. read more

I went to Ruby Tuesday on my 30 minute lunch break to get a salad from the bar. I noticed the lettuce I wanted and pasta salad was not on the bar. I asked the employee who told me it was her 5th day if I could get these 2 items added back to the bar so that I could add them to my salad.15-20 minutes later with the manager Amber Brown aware of my request, there was still no salad or lettuce. It was only after I asked about a customer dissatisfaction survey that the manager sprang into action making sure the items were added. I was late getting back to work waiting for items that should have been on the bar at 1:00. There were maybe 6 customers and the same number of staff, including the manager, just standing around. The place smelled unclean. The windows were dirty and I witnessed one of the guys in the food prep area spit a long line of slob on something. That was a funny place for a trash can to be. He should have done that in the restroom anyway. Eat at Ruby Tuesday in Waycross at your own risk. Make sure you have plenty of time, if you plan on eating a salad. read more

My family used to love Ruby Tuesday. It used to be a clean restaurant with great service. Those were the days of the cheddar biscuits. If you know, you know. I recently went there during the day time with my mother. Without the dimly lit ambiance of night time dining, I was able to see how unclean the joint was. The carpets were stained, especially around the booths. There was a mess resembling cottage cheese around the hostess stand. According to the complaints of nearby customers, there was water leaking from the kitchen. Aside from the mess, the service just wasn't good. Our waitress was nice, but the majority of the staff looked like they chose not to brush their hair that day. The table behind us received more attention due to oncoming mixed drinks and appetizers. My mom and I just ordered a couple of salads. I chose a crispy chicken Caesar salad. It had way too much dressing, soggy lettuce, and the chicken resembled a McDonald's McChicken. Here's the worst thing. I found a hair in my salad. It wasn't my hair and I only discovered it when I had already eaten half the salad. Our waitress brought over the manager, who also forgot to brush her hair, and she took the salad off my ticket. I was grateful for that, but I won't be back. Food was adequate, but service was awful. We were there last night, about 9:30 pm, stopping for something to eat after a long day of driving. The bartender didn't know what Dos Equis beer was....That was our first hint it was not going to be good. She had an empty bar, we were her only customers. She never smiled or struck up any conversation. About 20 minutes into our meal she started pouring water all over the floor behind the bar, then mopped, I guess she was starting to prep for closing, 90 minutes from then. The dirty water splashed up on the bar glasses near the floor, in my sight line. While we were still eating she placed our tab upright on the bar in front of us, maybe 4 inches from my husband's plate. She had an ill fitting uniform on, as it was tight, dirty. The company should provide options for pregnant employees. The whole experience was nasty. read more

The service was for lack of a better word - slow. The food was overcooked, we had ordered 3 steaks medium, they all arrived well done. My shrimp was EXTRA crispy and the appetizer that we ordered didn't arrive until after our food had. We expressed that we no longer wanted the mozzarella sticks since they were so late but they gave them to us anyway, free of charge, which was nice but we were still expecting better service after that. At the end of the day they comped half of our meal but I don't know what's going on in that kitchen. Was really disappointed seeing as how I've been to other Ruby Tuesdays and it's never been a bad experience until now. Generally speaking and I'm sorry to say, this was probably the worst restaurant experience I've ever had- and I go out to eat a lot. Hopefully they get their "stuff" together soon. read more

Chicken fingers where really small and heavily breaded. Plus to me it's highly unprofessional to have tattoos visible when serving customers. I myself is the public everyday and if we have tattoos they can't be visible . The food is definitely overpriced, but it's delicious. You get super small portions compared to what you are paying for it, but it's always great food. I would avoid the steaks, though. Ruby Tuesday is not really a chain that I desire to eat at, but I was on a business trip staying in a small town with pretty much only chain restaurants near the hotel, so I opted for this one since it had been awhile since I've eaten at Ruby's. One of my favorite dishes from years ago which has been off the menu for many years has made a comeback with the claim that it was back and better than ever! So I tried it and it was not really as I remembered it, so I was a little disappointed. Overall, the menu selection is decent and there is something for everyone but I know not to expect above-average food. I sat at the bar and got fast & friendly service. There were not many tables occupied and a handful of wait staff was gathered in the bar area since they were not that busy. The salad bar always looks good and has nice presentation but I'm not usually a fan of buffet style because everyone is handling the same utensils and I feel it's an easy way to spread germs. read more

We just left Ruby Tuesdays and I will say the food was great. That's about it. The staff walked by and looked at us several times before the manager came and sat us. The music was so loud that we were having to speak up just to talk to the people in our same booth. The waitress agreed it was loud and promptly turned it down when we asked but were then harassed by the drunk woman at the bar. When the manager wasn't looking another waitress turned the music back up to blaring. I'm all for those that want to drink and enjoy but it is still in fact a restaurant not just a bar. read more

Today, Sunday November 20, 2016 we went for lunch at Ruby Tuesday in Waycross, Georgia..After being told there would be a 20 to 30 minute wait to be served, we had to wait 1 hour. After finally being seated we ordered and waited again. It was an hour before everyone had been properly served. The orders were mixed up, the meats were not cooked to preferences, a Petite Sirloin was given in place of a Top Sirloin ordered, and the Top Sirloin was finally brought as we were ready to leave. In all we spent more than 2 hours trying to get lunch. On top of this, my daughter and son-in-law ordered what they have been ordering for several years when they eat at Ruby Tuesday, Asiago pepper steak. When we got the bills we found that the menu has changed and the meals my daughter and son-in-law ordered are no longer with the Petite Sirloin but the Top Sirloin and the Asiago cheese is $0.99 per order more, putting their meals now $14.99 + $0.99. They have ordered the same thing the last few years when going to Ruby Tuesday and suddenly it is $2 more per person. When the order was placed nothing was said to them about the change. I was told that they have a problem and are missing personnel to serve, and I think also there must be a problem in the kitchen since nothing was cooked properly. As we waited for our table, there were several empty tables but many people came in and left as they were constantly told that there would be about a 30 minute wait. During our 1 hour wait, a number of tables remained empty for a lack of servers. The manager came and was told of the different problems, and she was very courteous and nice. However, there was nothing said to try to make our perils less of a problem. So, let me say that as we have normally been very happy at Ruby Tuesday in Waycross, we were so disgusted today that we will not be going back any time soon. read more
