I had low expectations because I had tried to quit multiple times in a lot of different ways with no success. I remembered having a friend who said their mom quit with hypnosis and for as long as I had been trying to quit I felt like it was worth a try even if I was skeptical. What I could not have anticipated is how meeting Rita would change my life. By my second session I had quit smoking. Poof! It's a whole 7 months later at the time of this review and to this day I feel like it's a habit that I never had. I simply no longer identify with cigarettes, past or present. It doesn't even bother me to be around people who are smoking, which totally blows my mind. Being that I had quit smoking early in our sessions, Rita asked if there was anything else I wanted to work on with the sessions I had remaining. I mentioned that I was feeling a lot of stress and anxiety around my work and asked if that was something she could help with. Sure enough, Rita turned out to be better than any psychologist I have ever seen in helping me break the cycle of stress and negative thoughts. Further, she gave me the tools to calm my own mind instead of being dependent on therapy sessions or drugs forever. You can tell Rita really cares about the people she works with and wants nothing more than to see them succeed and live their happiest lives. Towards the end of my sessions Covid happened, forcing Rita and I to do my sessions virtually. To my surprise our virtual sessions worked just as well as our in person sessions. Although I did miss seeing her and hanging out in her really cool hypnosis room! All in all, I can't recommend Rita enough. If you have an issue that involves breaking some kind of bad habit or harmful cycle of thoughts or actions Rita is who you need to see. I recommend her to all my friends now and will likely go back to see her for some phobias that I have not addressed. If you're on the fence, you have nothing to lose except the things that are bothering you. Rita is 10000% worth the time and money commitment in exchange for the freedom you will feel. When I think about some of the biggest life changing milestones in my life, meeting Rita is right up there at the top.

Hypnosis was something I have never done before, but always wanted to try. I have learned in my personal studies that much of our inner healing takes place when we are silent and still. I find that silence to be very healing - even though it's hard sometimes to be still and silent for longer than 5 minutes for someone as restless as me. She guides me through a meditation that I helped create (my happy place is a beautiful beach). She has also guided me through other various hypnotic states. I have learned how to better meditate and visualize whatever results I want. I have also learned how to focus more on gratitude and less on fear-based thought patterns and behaviors. It's hard to describe how helpful meditation and hypnosis are - but I believe they're the best kind of therapy that exist. YOU gave me that option, and I'm sure other clients of yours can attest to that fact. I have never texted you saying our work was "amazing". I have every single text exchange, and if you continue to say things that are untrue I will post them. I would never say that because I did not believe our sessions were amazing, which is why I asked for the refund on the third session. You still haven't refunded me for the last session that was never completed due to the fact that I refuse to sign intake paper work and consent after the fact. I didn't trust it and I am glad I didn't because you are using this as a way to keep my money. As a professional who should be responsible for their own liability, you should have never moved forward without the proper paperwork. As it stands, you basically took my money without offering the full service.
