She would reword everything I confronted her about trying to make m seem crazy and confused. No accountability whatsoever who can trust a therapist with no accountability and blames you for their actions and your past. Sad you put your trust in someone for 2 years and they're just like everyone else. Some people don't need to be a therapist because they care more about themselves and their reputation than a clients mental health. The therapist harmed my mental health couldn't get a sincere apology or explanation and was terminated for holding her accountable asking for answers after two years. I got terminated over the phone couldn't even get closure. Very selfish for her to get closure and leave me with questions after two years of therapy. Be careful who you trust.. You would think the clinic would like feedback to work with the therapist so this wouldn't happen to future clients but the supervisor only provided referrals and was weird. I'm writing this review because this was very traumatic for me and it seems like there was another review here with same issue. I don't want anyone to be harmed like I have. She needs to be held accountable. This is no okay. Clients deserve a safe space and are already judged and criticized out in the real world. You shouldn't have to pay a therapist to do the same. I gave them my new insurance card that has the same member ID as the old one but a different group number than my old card. After my appointment, I noticed that my bill was pretty high and saw I was charged $176 without my consent. This seemed really odd and I called my insurance. I found out they used my old insurance information from my older plan that is no longer active. That's why I owed the full amount. I called their billing department and gave them my new insurance information so they could resubmit with my new insurance information. They said this could take a month or two to process. We're getting close to two months and I have yet to get reimbursed the $176. I was recently told by one of the billing people that one of my claims is in appeal and may not get approved which means I may have to pay the full amount. I told them this was unacceptable given this wasn't my mistake but theirs. This whole thing is stressful and should have never happened. The front desk people need better training because this was a super careless mistake. I'm dealing with so many health issues I really don't need to worry about something else. I get the sense they're short staffed and need to hire more people. I switched to Capital Neurology and Sleep Medicine. My experience here has been a lot better. The front desk people have done ok and my new doctor explains things in detail, is kind and friendly.

They are well organized and the staff is very professional. Making an appointment is okay too and we are able to get an appointment in a few days if not the same day if the kids are feeling unwell. During the COVID pandemic, this practice has been a godsend to schedule COVID testing and getting the vaccine. They even allow parents to get tested for COVID and get the vaccine/boosters as well. Making an appointment for these are easy and we are able to make it online! There is ample parking for patients and the clinic has an entrance from the outside of the building as well. There is a nice big fish tank that always gets the kids' attention. They also have the best coffee/hot chocolate machine that we always get a beverage from during a visit. These are questions I would expect to discuss with a doctor or trained clinician in a private and safe setting, not during a front-desk phone screening. It felt triggering and unprofessional. After the call, I was told I was good to go. I created an account in their portal and checked it carefully, but I did not see clear forms or instructions. The day before my appointment, I received a voicemail saying they had not received my paperwork, without clearly explaining what was missing. The next morning, my appointment was canceled, even though I had already taken time off work to attend. Before I even had a chance to meet the doctor, the process involved repeated steps, unclear communication, and a very stressful intake experience. For a psychiatry office, this matters. Patients seeking mental health care need a process that feels safe, organized, and supportive. Unfortunately, my experience made me feel dismissed and discouraged from seeking care there.

Being dismissed this way made me feel terrible. As a psychiatrist, I expected understanding and support, especially when it came to my hesitation around trying new medications. Instead, I was told to just go see a therapist, which completely overlooked the fact that my struggles are specifically tied to medication management. In my opinion, a psychiatrist should have compassion and patience for their patients' fears, especially when those fears are rooted in real negative experiences with medication. Unfortunately, I did not feel that with Dr. Etesam, and it left me feeling unsupported at a time when I needed care the most.
