It was my first time seeing Dr. Rhodes and I thought she was great! She was very friendly and personable and I felt comfortable talking to her about personal topics. The exam room was very clean. They have a lab on location which makes this location very convenient. I always hated those doctors offices where they referred you to another lab, such as LabCorp. Maryland Primary Care is a one stop shop. I even had a quick eye exam. The lady who took my vitals and obtained my basic information (I think it was Ms. Kathy) was extremely friendly! I see many negative comments concerning the front desk staff but I had no issues. A day or two after making my appointment, my work schedule changed. I called back and was able to move my appointment without an issue. The lady who scheduled my appointment directed me to all of the new patient paperwork online. I am glad I did it ahead of time. She provided me with all of the information I needed for my first appointment, told me what to bring and advised their arrival procedures for Covid. My husband is also a patient of Dr. Ashbeck who he loves. He was experiencing symptoms for many years and finally saw Dr. Ashbeck who had the knowledge and experience to diagnose him properly. I believe he also saw Dr. Zarzuela a short time ago last minute. He had no complaints and liked him as well. Overall, my appointment went well from start to finish. They may need to pay a little attention to the restrooms to keep them fresh and tidy but that is my only complaint. They are in a convenient location with plenty of parking. If in need of a primary care doctor, this is definitely a quality option.

His manner is calm, competent, and thorough. Subsequent visits have been the same: the waiting room might have many patients, but when it's my turn to be in the office, I feel like I have the time I need to talk to him about my concerns. I have never felt rushed in my appointments, and because I am not feeling pressured about time, I am better able to express my concerns and have a productive, efficient visit. I don't get rushed out of the office thinking, "Shoot, I meant to ask about this..." By the way, you might get his answering machine sometimes when you call the office to make an appt., but they always return my calls very quickly -- last time they called me back within about 15 minutes.

A week later, my biopsy results reveal an acute cancer...and I'm admitted to UMMC for immediate chemotherapy treatment. I do not recommend. Listen to your body, and fight your way through until you're priority.

In the three separate times I've visited to get my labs drawn, the woman working at that desk always seems annoyed with each person who approaches her. In my case, and what I believe is the standard case of each patient, we are told to go directly to the waiting room and wait for your name to be called since the labs are already in the system. On this occasion, two people did not follow those directions. The woman at the desk made a comment after the second person "ITS ALREADY STARTING". Unnecessary and rude. I approached her after she called my name and told her good morning, met with no response. I can speak for myself when I say, blood draws give me anxiety and I don't like them. Would it be so difficult to respond to the patient with a good morning? I expect so much more from Mercy, their Drs and nurses are phenomenal. They need to do better with their employees who work in the lab room..

But this place was amazing…read more Due to my health condition giving me constant UTI and kidney infections, I knew it was time to go in and get antibiotics. They have a private parking lot (with tons of up close parking) When I walked in I was the only patient in the waiting room, Maddie immediately was concerned (she was working the front desk taking all the information) she told me I looked like I was in excruciating pain and was genuinely concerned. I explained to her what was going on, and she said she would have to check with the doctor if they would even see me or send me to a Hospital. Not even 2 minutes later the doctor came out and I explained everything to her, she told me 100 percent to come on back and she would see me. I was then taken back to the exam room and Camille took my vitals. She commented on my heart rate being really high and how I looked really uncomfortable, she was extremely genuine talking to me. I know every doctor and nurse usually say things like this, but when Camille told me she wishes she could help take my pain away and hopes I get better soon, I could tell she really meant it. megan jendrossek, the provider that saw me, was extremely helpful, down to earth and sincere. This is the first time in a long time that I've been to an urgent care / hospital where it didn't seem like a factory. It actually felt like they cared. I have no idea why this place has such a low rating. This place went above and beyond and they even called me the next day to check on me. They asked how I was doing and if I had any further questions. They were extremely warm and professional. the provider, megan jendrossek noticed my dad in the waiting room and asked if she could talk to him and thank him for his service (noticed his military shirt) and talked to him for a bit and how her father did 30 years. So she was extremely friendly and personable This place literally got me in and out of here in about 45 minutes IF THAT. It was that fast. They knew I was heading out of town with my dad for two days and needed antibiotics ASAP. They sent it to the fastest pharmacy they knew and we were on the road within 1 hour total. I 100 percent recommend this place and will return whenever I'm at my dads The exam rooms were nice size, they were clean and the bathroom was clean as well. The chairs in the waiting room were really nice, they take a bunch of different insurance's, they listened to my needs instead of just sending me to the hospital. This location also serves veterans (instead of veterans having to go all the way to the VA)
