Living north of Boston, I had heard of Marylou's for years, but never encountered one until my son went to a Nike Volleyball clinic at Thayer. Poking around the area, I saw that familiar pink sign and knew thiscead my chance to check it out. This version has a drive through, but I went in and ordered at the counter. The staff was really efficient and friendly. The menu is overwhelming, so I'm glad I looked on line and decided my order before going in. Inside was small and sort of had a convenience store vibe. I got a fudgecycle and mint mocha. Holy sugar, it was so good. Excellent caffeine fix. I actually went back both days we were in the area. I can see how people are hooked on this place. I have Been here probably 50 times, 75% of the time the drive through doesnt remember what you ordered. is it really that hard?

Came way before closing time, and none of the staff inside wanted to tell me that they decided to clean up early for the night. Both of the girls inside saw me pull up to the intercom and window, but decided to avoid me instead. I would've honestly appreciated it if they just told me that they were going to close early. Came here for coffee. I got 2 blueberry coffees. Not sure, how you mess up coffee, but they did. My coffee didn't taste like blue berry at all. Staff was just busy talking gossip. I won't recommend this place, unless you have no car. read more

Saturday hours online are 5am-8pm. Rolled up at 5:15 and pulled on the door; locked. Next, the coffee, and I'm going with the iced coffee, french vanilla to be exact, is just total bliss. I mean, perfect, perfect coffee. If you're a Starbucks person, you might disagree and prefer your burned coffee beans, but if you're a Dunkin Donuts person, you know what's up, and you'll most definitely be into Marylou's. I'm usually a Dunks guy. I stopped into this Marylou's and I think I found heaven. Their Girl Scout Cookie Iced Coffee is excellent. The only problems with it is that it takes a few minutes to make and is somewhat expensive for coffee. read more

Love almost every coffee I've gotten here, but my favorite is definitely the Minty Lou. Like heaven in a cup. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because they almost always add sugar when I ask for no sugar even though they repeat my order back to me. Still love, though. read more

I am weirdly concerned that the other reviewers are expecting too much of this place, but they must like their coffee processed thru a Starbucks machine with acidic levels of caffeine. Manager Madison is about the best example of a marylou's management team member,always has a professional easy going attitude,is fun to see the crew always working together no matter how busy it is. I live in the north shore so when I go to visit my boyfriends family I always stop at marylous. A large iced coffee usually lasts the whole ride back home, at lest an hour and a half. This trip, my large iced lasted not even to the five guys burgers and fries. 40/60? Seriously the whole thing was ice.
