I have visited every Indian restaurant in the Tr-Cities and this one is by far my favorite. The food is amazing, the place is clean and nice overall ambience. Staff are very attentive as well. They have a great menu with so much to choose from. I absolutely love the buffet. A great way to try dishes without ordering a full entree. Masala is my go-to everytime I wanna eat something good. This family and their cooks are CONSISTENTLY good every single damn time. Love their curry, biryani, and of course the butter chicken. I CANNOT recommend this anymore than anything in tri-cities. Masala never let me down read more

The food came out fast, the butter chicken had more of a sweet creamy taste, different than what I'm used to. The dosa was good though probably the only thing I'd order if I went again, kinda pricey though I thought it'd come with more sauces. The service was okay, the man that sat us down stood 5 feet away from us the whole time so it was awkward just seeing him next to us. Felt like I couldn't even talk. And then when we ordered he kept suggesting us to buy more things, even though we said no twice. The naan was alright too a little burnt. If you ever find yourself in Yakima wa I'd suggest Taj Palace for Indian, way better. The only plus was that this place sold Dosa. read more

We arrived at opening the day after Thanksgiving and within 5 minutes, there were 3 other families so you can tell this place gets love. I sampled literally everything on the lunch buffet and they were delicious! My only sadness is that there was 1 paneer option and no masala oddly enough. Lots of vegetarian and lots of meat options but I just love paneer! But I guess since it's a buffet, there's only so many options they can make. All in all, delicious. We stopped by for dinner on our way through town. The food had great flavor. I was really tempted to go 5 stars because of it. Nice sweet and spicy flavors. I particularly enjoyed the mushroom masala, which was sweet. My daughter had a Mango Lassi which was good, and my wife's butter chicken had great flavor, also. The only notes on the food which weren't perfect were (a) the garlic naan was a bit dry (but had great flavor), (b) the rice seemed like a cheaper short-grain asian-style rice, rather than basmati or other medium/longer-grain rices, and (c) the chicken (in the butter chicken) was cut into pretty large chunks, and just wasn't quite as appetizing in that format (needed to be cut with a knife). Service was friendly. But the other things holding me back from a 5-star review are (a) pricing seemed a tad high for a town like the Tri Cities (approx $20pp), and (b) the indoor decor was a bit shabby, and could use some cleanup/modernization. All-in-all, we had a great meal and I would definitely recommend it. read more

Was craving some Indian food and saw this highly rated place so I just had to come in and try it. Their menu has a wide variety so I was super excited to try some items that I've never had. I did take out so the only thing I can say on the service is that they're pretty fast with getting you your food :) FOOD: Mysore Masala Dosa - This was something new to me and I was excited to try it. It was full of flavor and lentils crepe was spongey which was great for soaking up the various of sauces that was included. I enjoyed each of the sauces and the potato curry was absolutely delicious as well. Would recommend this item :) Butter Chicken - This was also pretty flavorful and I enjoyed it a lot with the garlic naan that I also got. However, I will say that the chicken was on the dryer end which isn't my preference when it comes to how chicken is cooked. Overall, still enjoyed this dish and it made for a hearty meal. The lunch buffet is amazing with 20 or so varieties of vegetarian and meat options. The restaurant is clean and the owners are very attentive. Every dish was delicious and the tandoori chicken was well seasoned and plentiful. The owners are a family and its home cooking from south India.. Not salty some spicey just the perfect blend for anyone. The booth was comfortable and they kept restocking the food dishes. The dessert of fruit in a mango sauce was really delicious and the warm bread pudding in Indian spices was the best I've had. Overall, superb food, clean restaurant with indian music for the ambiance and the owners checked on every booth and table to fill waters/drinks. I thought I didn't like Indian food. Although, I'd only tried one (unnamed) Indian cuisine restaurant. A coworker insisted that my wife and I try Masala. I'm so glad we did!! We have gone there at least once a week since finding it. We try something new every time and it's all amazing! We even tried their buffet one Saturday which was also very good. Just got delivery from this restaurant. I ordered the vegetable Kurma with aloo samosas. Unfortunately, although I was charged, they forgot the samosas, which is why I'm knocking down one star. The place was better than expected: 1. I think it was about $10-11 per person and the food was worth the value. The curry they did not skimp out on the meat such as goat or chicken and their tandoori was smoky on the outside tender in the inside. 2. the service was incredibly polite.
