Living in the Tri-Cities can be rough if you're craving good international or halal food. I was scrolling through Yelp looking for shawarma (honestly not expecting to find anything as I've been here for a while), and then I spot this new place with glowing reviews. I drove over to Richland with no expectations lol but I was so pleasantly surprised! I've lived in Amman, Jordan before and visit often, so I can be a bit picky when looking for shawarma. Surprisingly the shawarma was super authentic and delicious. The staff were really friendly, and the decor with pictures of Petra and Wadi Rum gave it such a nice touch. Turns out the family is of Jordanian descent! I'll definitely be back to try the Ouzi and kebabs next time it looks amazing on the photos. Wishing this new restaurant success! read more

My fiancé and I go here every week. The food is amazing and the owners are very friendly. Its family owned, authentic, and made with care. The turkish coffee is a unique experience if you've never had it. Hints of Cardamom in a rich coffee blend with option to serve up to four at a time. We've had everything on the menu so it's hard to pick a favorite. But the Kebab plates are amazing with delicious seasoned meat. Plenty of rice and a yummy salad. I recommend for good food at a good price made by the nicest people. read more

Best on so many levels! Baba was awesome, hummus amazing my favorite was the tzatki and gyro meat. People are very sweet and thoughtful.

Such a wonderful establishment. Everything is packed with flavor. Falafel is crunchy on the outside, warm and soft inside. Gyros are excellent. Kebab plate superb. Tahini sauce and the garlic sauce are wonderful compliments to the dish. Their tzaki sauce for the gyros is excellent. Staff is super friendly and attentive. The food here is great! And for the price a healthy portion! I ordered the gyro plate and I loved the combination of meat, rice, hummus and the fresh salad. The reviewer below commenting on McDonald's next door being competition does not compare at all. We're not even talking about the same quality of food for the price in that matter. Last minute lunch with friends visiting, ughh, the ultimate question.. Where do we go in the TC ??? Lazeez popped up on Yelp, had good reviews, was actually open, that was enough for us; off we went on an adventure :) They have a separate entrance for pick ups (clearly labelled but of course I went in the wrong door...LOL ) , and the second door is the dine-in. The dinning area is small and very cafeteria like, only real decor are some really cool photos on the wall of far away places but they recently opened and decor can always be improved on. The staff ( I'm guessing the owner) was incredibly kind and helpful explaining the dishes, we ordered a Gyro wrap, a Chicken Shawarma wrap and a Chicken Shawarma plate. It did take a bit for the meals to come out but the food was delicious and totally worth it, all made fresh ! They had a green spicy sauce on the side that was absolutely delightful! Just the perfect heat... We all really appreciated the fact that they didn't "dumb" down the flavors and had quality ingredients. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised and so were my guests, it is a great addition to the TC , they can count on 3 repeat customers! Don't go there expecting a five star restaurant experience, but if you want solid flavors and quality food, great service and exposure to middle eastern eats.. take a chance, and try it!! read more

Best hummus and falafel in the Tri-cities in my opinion. It's a humble spot, but the food speaks volumes! The hummus is perfect. The falafel and dipping sauce are a dream combination, very crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I'm vegetarian so I can't speak for the meat, but with how good the veggie options are I think it would be worth the try. Seriously, try the hummus! read more

What a great meal!! My wife and I split the falafel wrap sandwich which was fresh and delicious. We also tried the grape leaves, french fries w/ garlic sauce, hummus w/ pita and the baklava. Well, that happened. A Public Service Announcement First off, I'd like to congratulate the owners for having such a large family or friends. This is the only way to explain the many reviews that claim this place "walks on water." I just ate there. Those claims are insensible. Lazeez doesn't walk on water. It flails in the kiddie pool. The building is a repurposed drive-through bank or ice cream shop. The dining room was ad-hoc, clean but obviously not designed for purpose. The décor was limited to a plant in the corner and a large television endlessly cycling through AI-generated visual vignettes that alternated between creepy and juvenile. The service was disorganized and disjointed. There were only two occupied tables in the restaurant, but staff was not on task and inattentive. The entrees came out several minutes apart, and service was disjointed. These were positive highlights compared to the food. What to say about the pita? Dry and stale, an embarrassment to hundreds of years of Mediterranean culinary culture - if it came from a grocery store it was also an unhappy hostage, abused and neglected over days in a closet. Hummus? Without favor or consistency. The meat? Dry, overcooked and tasteless; shortcomings only made less by the fact that there was so little offered. The vegetables and salad, although fresh, were generally drowned in vinegar. And the prices? Much too high, especially considering the value. McDonald's is right next door. Lazeez is going to have to up its game to be successful against that competition. The tri-cities is no longer a backwater. Many vibrant, interesting, and quality establishments are entering the stage. Among these actors, Lazeez won't pass an audition. We paid. We left. We won't be going back. True, no one has botulism, but it was 45 minutes wasted and an opportunity for lunch, gone. Do yourself a favor. There are many better choices. Pick one of those. read more
