This experience is not based on the Church but on their Outreach. A couple of years ago we used to…read morebring donations to the Fr. Thomas Conerty Outreach here. They had everything organized on tables for those in need to take and the volunteers were so nice. One of the tables were items for pets, as we all know sometimes affording things our pet needs can be difficult. Joe would receive the donations with grace and kindly assist us to carry the items in. Listed on their website is items currently needed, as of this morning pet food is still on the list. Tuesday's hours of operation are 9am to 1pm, this morning we arrived at 9:30 with new unopened bags of dog food, cat litter, and dry cat food. Joe is no longer there, a tall man with grey hair walked over and said he didn't know if they could use pet items and rudely said he would just throw out the items if they didn't. This he said to my Mom, a senior, who just took the time to unload her truck, fill a shopping cart and walk it over to him after driving there from Huntington. Items we gave like Blue Buffalo Wilderness Dog Food, is currently $50.00 to buy at Amazon. We will be giving to a different Outreach as of now.

To clarify, i've never been to church service here…read more However, I've been to the rectory basement multiple times for foster parent trainings. It is really nice that the church organizes with my agency to allow them to have classes there. I love hearing the bells toll on an hourly basis, it is so pretty! The rectory is clean and warm in the wintry months. The snow is always cleaned from the walkways. The priest has popped in a couple times and was nice.
