Shayna is the owner of her spa and an excellent esthetician. She provides a sublime facial using luxurious Eminence products. The setting in the treatment room is very calming and relaxing. What makes her different from others is the continued touch points from the face to the head and neck to the hands and feet for light massage. She's very gentle with the application of products and great with dermaplane. Your skin just feels so soft after dermaplane and the products soak into your skin. Also you'll never hear the rinsing of dishes, no clanging sounds of any sort. No bright lights. You'll just hear the calming, minimal sound of spa music. You won't feel rushed. And at the end she'll provide water and a snack of your choice along with a delicious piece of chocolate. It's a very professional spa. When I found Shayna, I didn't have to look any further. I like Eminence because it's organic, and I needed somebody to pair that with my dermaplane. And then I found Shayna, as referred by my former aesthetician who's in the Eminence network Of providers! With Shayna, I experienced not only my traditional facial, I experienced a higher level of service I would say it's a red carpet service. I was so nervous at the beginning, wanting to protect ever single eyebrow hair I had left, after over-plucking in my teens, and she was so respectful of that and talked me through each stage of the process. One of the first things I noticed was how warm & inviting she was. Super nice & clearly had a passion for what she was doing. One of the other things I noticed was this really cool & relaxing light display she had that shone on the wall & the ceiling. It was one of those details that could be totally overlooked but she clearly put thought into it & it made a difference. It really added to the relaxing vibe of the suite. She asked about allergies & made sure the products she was using wouldn't cause a reaction. She asked if I wanted updates about what she was doing &/or why, or if I simply wanted to zen/chill out. I opted for the latter, I definitely needed the zen, & I can say confidently it was needed. I even fell asleep a handful of times. To me, that is a sign of absolute zen but also trust. Even though she's amongst other single room salons, she too, every precaution to make sure the room remained as quiet, dark, & relaxed as possible. She had this high vibration music playing that added greatly to the relaxation of the whole appointment. We did the LED facial & it was really cool. Totally loved it. Something else that she did, which I really appreciated was when she was allowing the mask & LED light to do its magic, she didn't just massage my hands & forearms. Oh no! She massaged them, wrapped them, & then added heated muffs (mittens?). Whatever it was, it was magic. But she didn't just stop with the hands. She did the feet too & added the heated muffs. (Mittens?) to my feet too. Boy oh boy was it amazing. One other thing I appreciated. She has products available for purchase but never once did she push. They were available if I wanted or had questions. I absolutely love when the product is available but there isn't a push or a "you must have this because of X, Y, & Z."
