I then found Milan because they were a top search hit and were having a great sale, and I was happy to find they checked all the boxes as far as having actual nurses providing the service, and using the most high quality equipment. The consult went over a lot of the same points from medical sites I'd researched on and broke down their methods and pricing very clearly. Office was lovely and clean and they provide everything needed for a comfortable visit, manager and providers are SO nice and knowledgeable. I'm on my 3rd of ~5-7 appointments and it's going great, regrowth is greatly reduced already. The providers take detailed notes and the next time you show up go over the experience and make sure everything is still going well and your skin is ready for the service, and so there's continuity if you see someone else next appt. They keep up constant communication before, during, and after the treatments, which is helpful in understanding the experience and making safe progress, and is also a good distraction because it does get a bit "spicy". Results so far are amazing and the monthly payments are reasonable. I'm SO happy I finally am able to get lasered, literal dream come true, I PROMISE no one is paying me to say all this, I'm just super happy to hype them up!

I have had really good experiences so far with True Med Spa. I have been very nervous about getting a photofacial as I was afraid it might hurt (yes, I am a wimp!) But I have some dark spots on my face and really want them gone. So I started with a hydrofacial with Laura - and it was wonderful! Laura was so kind, explaining everything and giving me great tips on how to take better care of my skin. My skin was so soft after the treatment and I could see good results within a couple weeks so I got my nerve up and went in for a photofacial. Kelly was fantastic, so patient with me. I told her I was a little scared and she explained it all so well. I didn't use any numbing gel, though I could have, but Kelly made me feel so comfortable I decided to just go for it. The whole experience was so easy and not at all painful. It just felt like a little snap - like a rubberband, but not hard. Once I got used to the feeling, I just relaxed and enjoyed the experience. It's been 2 weeks and the dark spots have lightened quite a bit. I can't wait to go back again in another 2 weeks and continue!! The spots are suppose to be gone in 4-5 treatments and I believe it based on what I am already witnessing. I highly recommend True Med Spa in Scottsdale! read more

I think True Med Spa really is a great place. I have never had a facial before and I didn't know how fun and amazing it would be until I came to this place! Jessica gave me my consultation and she really took the time to talk to me about my skin, was very friendly, and welcoming. We talked for quite a long time and she gave me some great recommendations for my skin. And the woman who gave me my facial was so nice and I was so surprised and pleased with how amazing the hydra facial is! She really took the time to make me feel comfortable and you could tell she really cares about her customers. Also, my skin is looking so much better after and it was the confidence boost I needed and my skin totally loved it. My friends and family could notice a difference in my skin the next day and it is continuing to look more bright and clear a few days after my treatment! Kelly is an Angel from earth. I've been seeing Kelly since March 2021. I've have explore all her treatments. Some of my favorite treatments are: Botox. I love this treatment because I have TMJ and have noticed a significant improve in pain relief for my clenching teeth habits Micro-needling. I had 5 session of this procedure for my enlarged pores and acne scars. Needless to say, amazing! Fractional Laser. This is an intensive treatment that I get once in a while. After the peeling finish, you have new skin and a glow to die for. By far the best for youthful and radiance looking skin. Laser Hair Removal. I can vouch for this procedure specific with Kelly because I quite literally have my whole body done. Face, bikini, back, stomach. You name it. This also helped with KP on my legs and arms. I've been suffering from acne for over a decade. Even though I used to get laser treatments throughout my life, it only hurts and the results weren't very good. But Kelly was different. She looked closely at my skin and recommended a laser suited for my skin type. I was able to see AMAZING results in 3 laser treatments and I almost never get acne anymore. I have received lots of compliments on my skin and I've gained a lot of confidence back. The same went for hair removal. After only 3 treatments, my hairs completely went away although my hair was thick, black, and typically grows very quickly. This was a life-changing experience for me. Also, the procedure that I thought that it would be very painful from my previous experiences was nothing, compared to the other laser treatments that I've had before. Went in for the first time to get a Hydra Facial, Botox and the Venus Legacy. I've been here multiple times for laser hair removal, facials and PRGF treatment. I noticed how the machine they used for the laser hair removal was so painless. Got 3 treatments and barely need to shave now. The facial was so hydrating and helped my face look awesome. Finally, the PRGF treatment made my face smaller. My friends have noticed it right away and asked what I had done. I've gotten Botox before from here and loved the results. But this last time, did the Venus Legacy on my face and it helped firm up my saggy neck and face. Boy did it work! I can see a difference after the first treatment. I had my first treatment (skin tightening) at True Med Spa on Saturday, 10/17/15. From the minute I walked into the spa I felt like I had been going there for years. The entire staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Laura was my technician and with the combination of her skill, expertise, and the most state of the art equipment my treatment was perfect! I will be back! UPDATE: Returned for my second treatment today with Laura (Hydrafacial). Once again, with Laura's gentle touch and new state of the art equipment, I left their office with my face feeling and looking completely healthy and renewed! I was running quite late for an appointment due to having started a new job and then a work meeting that ran long. I spoke with Dr. Choi and he was pleasant and accommodating even though I arrived 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment. I saw no detection of inconvenience or annoyance. He explained various treatments for my skin condition and stayed to administer the Botox and filler that I had wanted to receive. He was considerate throughout the process and I'm pleased with the results. Hope to be even more pleased after 7-10 days when the results are even more apparent. Kelly is amazing! I'm about halfway through my treatment and have noticed tremendous results. Besides just the treatment Kelly is very personable and flexible around your schedule. There was a few months where I had to be to work early and Kelly accommodated my insane schedule. I would be lying if I said it wasn't painful for at all, because it is a bit (I also have a low pain tolerance). That being said, Kelly often times checks up on her clients the next day which ... Kelly is an absolute gem. She really takes the time to explain every detail and makes you feel so comfortable! Kelly is truly amazing with her work. She not only makes sure that the results are good, but she does her work in a way to be the least painful for her clients. Personally, I'm getting my hair removed from my face, so it's generally painful, but Kelly makes sure to take care of me and constantly asks whether the pain is still bearable. The hair on my face have been going away quite quickly, and I'm beyond happy about that. I finally get to wear makeup without having to bother about how the foundation is going to sit. I absolutely recommend this place!!! I'm doing laser hair removal and it's the best thing I've done. At first, I was scared to do it but I'm so happy I did. I've had to do seven sessions and at the beginning there was no pain but as I continued my sessions, it was a little uncomfortable but no pain!! I used to recommend this business to people in the Arcadia area but I won't anymore. I had some…read morenot-so-great customer service from them in the past but let it go as I assume maybe the receptionist was just grumpy and having a day. But it was on more than one occasion. It seems like they're annoyed if you ask questions. Which is usually what people do when they are uneducated about what you're asking and get uncomfortable. I was asking the receptionist who the first tech was that I saw who moved and then came back. Instead of making it a smooth conversation by just looking at my past appts to see who my techs were, she said, "do you remember their name?" No I just know it was the first girl I saw." "Ok well you've seen 3". Ok so the first tech." It was just going back and forth like she wanted to make things difficult and to keep asking me questions guessing the name of the techs. So I asked her if she could read me the names of the techs so I'm not guessing. Why do people purposefully make things more difficult? I am a Fitzpatrick 4 and when I called to ask about the Fitzpatrick scale, the girl didn't know what a Fitzpatrick scale was. Not a good sign. I only decided to come to hello laser for the specific laser GentleMax-Pro and they are extremely close to where I live. So basically out of convenience I'll give them a go. It wasn't until I called about one of my last appts out of 6 to see how long I should be off hydroquinone before doing laser. She didn't know what that topical cream was, which is shocking as it's a BIG contraindication with laser. She said, "I'm sure 48hrs is good." I said, "oh wow, really? Only 48hrs? Are you able to ask to make sure? I don't agree with guessing when it comes to laser and people's skin." She abruptly repeated again, "48 hrs." So I decided to wait 2 weeks to be sure and then go in for my laser. Glad I did. The lack of education and care of their customers, is frightening. Be careful customers. Laser is not a device to play around with. Once something goes wrong it's nearly impossible to undo. With laser studios, you sign your life away so they can't and won't be held responsible if something goes wrong. Even if they guided you incorrectly. Those girls have way too much downtime and not having enough knowledge. Maybe they should be studying so they can learn proper contraindications with medications and devices before booking anymore appts. And stop arguing with customers. It's extremely unprofessional.
