The only fault I have is online preregistration was a joke. I never did figure out how to register and run out of time trying. They did call me the day before and got the info, at last. What a hassle!

At times her hands were covering my face...horrible. Pulled my bottom lip down and was aggressively scraping my teeth. Then I would ask for the suction and at one point she pushes my hand out of the way and says ..I got it! I went to this dentist about 5 years ago because my teeth were rotten and painful. This office…read morerefused to remove them at that point in time because THEY wanted to save my teeth even though I wanted them taken out. So I waited about 3 more years and went back to see them when I noticed my teeth were visibly moving. They still wanted to try and save my teeth even though my teeth were loose enough for everyone to see they were starting to come out. Finally, I got them to agree to remove my bottom set of teeth first and (not yet) take my top teeth out after I get my bottom dentures. So I had my bottom teeth out about 4 months ago. It took over 6 weeks before I was no longer in excruciating pain. But I was still in quite a bit of pain though. After the 8 week period, I started having over 30 bone fragments coming out of my gums. The first couple of them, I saw the same dentist, dr anu to have her take them out as they were painful. She assured me I would not be in any pain and then proceeded to stick my gums with needles in about 6 different places and wiggled the needles around while I had tears streaming down my face because it hurt so badly. She knew I was crying and kept on moving the needles in my gums. Now I'm terrified to see her again. So far I've had 30 pieces of bone come out of my gums already. They do not come out right away either. They take weeks to come out and I can't eat because my gums hurt so much. I still have at least 8 more bone fragments sticking in my gums and I can't get them out. I hate this dentist and every time I see her, I leave her office in tears. She's a total butcher!

It had been stressful to say the least. Most of our time had been spent in the rental car driving to see family from Columbus to Springfield to New Hampshire. By the last week I was drained. For the past 3+ years I have been fighting what had only in the last 3 months been diagnosed as "Valley Fever". It is a fungal infection common to the desert and areas of California. Doctors in our home area of Arizona, who should have been familiar with the symptoms, failed to correctly identify the problem. My wife, recognizing the fact that I was in no shape to go on, parked my butt in the emergency room at Blanchard Valley. The people there were great even though they were unfamiliar with "Valley Fever". Dr. Grace, the admitting doctor told us that "Blanchard Valley was truly blessed to have one of the best infectious disease doctors in the country". I'm thinking, "ok, bring him on, I want to meet this guy". Later that evening Dr. Ratnasamy came into my room and I realized that the admitting doctor knew what he was talking about. I have never felt so comfortable speaking to a doctor for the first time. You could tell that, maybe he doesn't see patients everyday with "Valley Fever" but he sure knew a lot about it. He took over my treatment and I saw him 3 more times before I was discharged. Actually he was the last person I saw that day. He gave me a full set of doctors notes and test results so I could take the back for my Arizona doctors. Ok, this impressed me. What really blew me away was the phone call I got from him last night, over a week since we arrived back home and almost 2 weeks since he had seen me in the hospital in Findlay. How many doctors would take the time to follow up on a patient that chances are they would never see again? Most around here don't even if they are your primary care doctor. Dr Ratnasamy said he was just closing out my file and wanted to check on how I was doing and what my local doctors had said. In my opinion, that's dedication. Dedication to what he does and who he does it for. The world needs more people like him.
