This has the potential to be the most poorly designed theater I've seen in my entire life. They have like 3 toilets for the entire venue and you'll spend a chunk of your time waiting in line. I think the restrooms are original to the building (1920s) The sound system looks to be Meyer Leopard arrays with 900-LFCs and Rivage PM5 for the house console - so that's ripping! Only redeeming quality

The seats are comfortable and the view from the seats on the ground level are all decent. I've been where we sat at the last row on the ground level and I've visited where we had seats closer to the stage. The lines aren't crazy long, and the security works pretty quickly to move things right along. They do sell cocktails and snacks. I love that this venue is right in the middle of the city with plenty of public tranportation options. The fees have always been reasonable and cheaper if you pay at their box office. This is definitely a venue I would attend future events at based on my prior experiences.

NOTE: do look up their website for exact details... I didn't. Dang**[. I had thought the reenactment was both days, not just Saturday. So, Sunday when I went nobody knew anything including the people at the dock house for an afternoon boat ride. However on a quiet June 1 Sunday I did get to see Teddy Roosevelt (actor) himself ,a very kind man, an enjoyable presentation from actor Patrick Falci( with help from his wife Joan at the slide projector) who was in the 1996 Rough Riders movie and 1997 Tv show with the same name. Note: if you're a history buff check it out! And a presentation from Head Librarian and curator Sue Sarna showing the - in the works - TR museum being build in N. Dakota( July 2026) a must see for buffs. Stopped by OB RR museum, Hive Market, Once upon a Stuffie, TR bully bar and Sweet tomatoes. It was the flip side for a quiet nice day in Oyster Bay.

We previously contacted this town hall to get required documents we needed to be married in New York since we are residents of Florida. We dealt with Jenn and Georgia and they were both very courteous and helpful. We stopped in today to get our certificate for marriage with all required documents and the whole process took about 20 to 30 minutes if that long it was a very pleasant experience thank you very much Georgia and Jenn.

We especially enjoyed the olive oil/balsamic vinegar store. It's completely walkable with tons of pedestrian crosswalks. One day was not enough to explore all it has to offer. There are also public restrooms, so always helpful.

Having said this with all the new apartments here are being so expensive it is a hardship given you an 800 ft.² spending $4000 for a one bedroom that keeps going up every year and doesn't get nicer more used actually it's going to become impossible since if you live for five years or longer in one place you're probably going to be at $10,000 a month. Perhaps the Cheetos and the tuna is and the try tax and the Fairfield of the Long Island area should realize that we are going to lose so many of the young adults for even plus even 40 to 50-year-olds to go live in a reasonable even if not New York even Nassau has a nicer apartments for 3500!!! Looking forward to my husband turning 55- and or being grandfathered into my petition for same to move to 50+ age discrimination goes both ways and unfortunately for poor chef I don't see a way through what's going on with the budgeting the constables in terms of the rental units that are available I believe they're making the renters not as if their villagers but as if they have to get more information to the Townhall so they can utilize the towns benefits meeting I can't imagine anyone wanting to live here much longer that are going to college or med school or even working at the universities it's a shame I always rented houses in Port Jeff when I went to college at stony Brook... Lived right off liberty Avenue- so had privacy didn't have people that live below me didn't have people complaining about things like sounds coming from other people's apartments because they just moved and didn't understand that the building is not even subpar in terms of structural integrity they say something about allergies and people having any sort of candles or I know someone must be smoking cigarettes around the building but don't believe inside I'm not sure but we have flooded twice and there's white mold I believe he would make us more allergic to get checked out first

In over 90% of the cases he/she will not know the answer. Many ordinance are on the books and are outlived and or outdated. The town makes no effort to keep them current or remove them. interesting experience with this Town, I never experienced any other county that places a violation, and if not attended to in the short window provided you go to court. That's where the Town's money making comes into play, the county attorney job is to get $$$, they will pressure you to settle and pay a min. of $500 for the slightest of violation. If you have a violation and it was not cleared up by the time of court ( and even if you did remedied the alleged violation, the Town still expects $$$ from you. This is where lies one of many problems.. your a taxpayer, comply with the violation and still have to pay a fine? This is very fishy. In another situation, say you didn't comply, you provided up to 9 months if you pay the fine plus an administrative fee within 30 days.
