Very "hey go do this", while I go on computer/talk with colleagues. Got to the point where I had to go to the Therapist and start asking for new exercises and got answers that did not help. Every exercise they give you is on a sheet that you can do during the week on your own. Dont understand why I should pay 30 dollars a visit for "professional care" when I can just use the exercises they gave me on my own in the gym. You'd think you would get either a stretch that you can't do on your own or care that would make up for the co-pay while your there but it's same routine for 9 weeks straight. Massage affected area and go do this. Now have follow up with doctor for MRI requiring more PT, which is 4 more weeks of wasted time and money. Hopefully care gets better, if this review can do that for the next patient then I'd say that'd make up for the lost time, energy and money! All the best.

Monday morning after thanksgiving I called Elliot hoping to get an appointment. I'm not sure if they heard the desperation in my voice or if that's how they run their practice, but they were able to get me in immediately. And I mean immediately! Like I called at 9something and they got me in for 10am! I got to my appointment with Julie with weakness and numbness in my right leg. I felt better right away and have been getting stronger everyday and have no pain! I had an emergency with my dog and had to cancel my appointment for yesterday. Emily (one of the girls from the front desk I think) called me today to check on me and my dog! After one of the worst days of my life yesterday, it was so nice to hear from Emily. It made me feel like they actually care about their patients unlike a lot of other medical offices I've been. Thank you Elliot!!

This was my first PT experience and I was told that I was going to have a $40 co-pay per visit, which I figured would be like my PCP where no deductible was at play. Even on the intake form, I initialed that I only had a $40 co-pay per visit. I ended up visiting 5 times and every time they took a $40 co-pay. More than two months later, I unexpectedly get a bill for $400! I called the billing office and they confirmed that I was given incorrect information about my benefits by the office staff, and that my deductible did apply in this case. Had I known that and had knowledge about how much each visit was going to cost me, I likely would have not scheduled additional visits and continued my rehab at home. Even though the billing office confirmed that bad information was given to me, they were unwilling to make it right. They are leaning on their disclaimer form, which makes them harmless for any mistakes made on their end. It's too bad patients don't have that type of protection. I have a pretty standard BCBS plan from what I understand. After the first visit was billed and paid, the practice should have notified me that my benefits were not as they were presented so that I could make an informed decision about future visits. Instead, they continued to only collect a co-pay and not notify me of the applicable deductible. I'm going to pay the bill but I wanted to post today to warn other patients to check your own insurance coverage prior to going to this practice. Additionally, I suggest that you inquire what the service fees and contracted rates are for your insurance coverage so that you can understand what potential patient responsibility you might have in the case that that they make another error in reading your benefits. Despite the good care, I will not be returning to this practice due to their unwillingness to right a mistake. I was willing to split the difference with them and pay $200, but they declined. Very disappointing.

From my first call to set up an evaluation, which was answered by Kortney, all of the way through my last session, I was very pleased with the way BSPT's staff handled my recovery from 2 separate hip replacements over a long time span.
