A large main room beyond reception is sometimes used for yoga. The clinic is open until 9pm some evenings, so flexibility with appointments is rarely a problem. I followed Courtney here from a previous clinic. She's a bright and friendly face with a warm personality. She has a throughout knowledge of Massage Therapy with years of experience behind her. Courtney makes you feel at ease from the moment you see her and she eases your aches and pains while you're with her. I truly can't believe I lived in Dartmouth as long as I have and didn't even know this place existed they are 99 Wyse Road a place to easily drive by but once you go you don't forget where it is. I can't say enough about the skills of Grace and Jora ... And for an old massage pro like me it takes somebody with experience and skills and the ability to cater your massage therapy directly to your needs rather than some of the other businesses that have cookie cutter techniques... And then there's the barefoot massage... Did I say then there's the bare foot massage ... You do have the option to do regular massages however for those of us who have different needs the barefoot massage is something to look forward to on every occasion and you do still have the option within that appointment to still have a regular massage but they have to book certain rooms so you have to make sure to book barefoot even if you're only having about 5 minutes of it and it's so worth it Having never had it done before I was very hesitant the first time and I haven't stopped since ..it just gets into the deep tissue in a way that hands can't but there's some massages that you need that hands are the best options I highly recommend this place for professionalism for ethics for knowledge for location and overall very positive experience every time with friendly front desk staff .. We try on different pairs of shoes before we buy the right one and I realize in a city where there's lots of massage therapists we sometimes settle but we're talking about our temples.. we're talking about our bodies so they should be treated with the best care.. He always makes sure I'm relaxed, warm enough and will even let me choose the music! After massages Stephem always makes recommendations on stretches, water intake and other helpful tips. Frequently they have offers on facebook or for last minute bookings but their prices are competitive, low enough to be below the reasonable customary charge as considered by Blue Cross and Sun Life medical plans. They can direct bill to most medical plans and uses an online booking system that emails reminders and confirmations, which are easy to cancel or reschedule. As an added bonus they offer aromatherapy with essential oils, customizing a scent to the mood you'd like or just using the oil you prefer. Downside for inaccessibility with the stairs to get to this second floor business but it's worth the hike.

I had a massage booked today Jan 3rd at the Larry Uteck location. Upon arrival, I was told I missed…read morean appt in May of 2021, and would have to pay for that appt. I explained to the receptionist that I missed the appt as my dad and sister both had covid UK variant in ONT. My dad was in the ICU fighting for his life in ONT, and my sister very sick as well. So, forgive me, it was not on my mind to call and cancel my appt. Also, NS, was on lockdown in May 2021.....end of April until 2nd week of June. So, I would not have be able to come regardless, as massage was not allowed. The receptionist did not even as much as say I am sorry to hear that. I asked to speak to a manager, she said she had no info to give me. I then asked for head offices number and she refused to give that as well. I will never be back and will be sure to spread the word.
