I have been going to Esperanza off and on for a year now, and I just can't say enough good things about the experience. I was extremely nervous my first time around - I had avoided massages because I am not a huge fan of being touched. My aching back/shoulders and chronic headaches finally won out over anxiety - and I am so very thankful for Esperanza's patience, kindness, and the overall soothing environment of Massage and You. She listens attentively, and understands that everyone is unique and requires different focus. She has transformed my shoulders, opening them up in ways I had begun to believe weren't possible. She is a minimalist in terms of decor, but has just the right touches to make you feel calm and cared for. She does complimentary aromatherapy, and the bed is beyond comfy (not to mention clean and SO WARM). The last time I was in I had to sit for a few minutes and sip water afterwards because I was so calm and relaxed. No way I could drive the 25 minutes home without snoozing! For several years I'd been without a reliable massage therapist, so when earlier this year I was diagnosed with cervical and lumbar spinal stenosis that wasn't relieved with a chiropractor, I knew I had to find someone local to get more bodywork. I have been getting massages for quite a few years now and realize how important it is in my and life. I've have a very physical job and I play hard. I go to Espy for her massage techniques and her concern for your well being physically and mentally. She has a great aura around her and her energy she puts into massages are deeply felt. Her touch is to whatever your liking is and always asks you how your doing and what's the focal point of the session. If you talk she will listen and offer advice.
