Anyway, the massage office is comfortable and relaxed. I like to talk as I see this as part of the therapy. From the beginning of the session, Lori was extremely rough with the massage. Post-op massages require care and gentleness, but throughout the entire appointment her technique felt overly aggressive and uncomfortable. In addition, she made several comments about my body that were inappropriate and insulting. She asked if I had liposuction on my arms, which I did not. She then asked when I had a tummy tuck, which I have also never had I only had a C-section. These assumptions were unnecessary and made me feel uncomfortable during the session. There were also moments that felt very unprofessional. At one point she tossed a pillow onto my neck area instead of placing it properly, and when wiping the oils off my body with a towel she was extremely rough. This is something I have never experienced during any massage, especially a post-op massage where extra care should be taken. Because my previous therapists were so professional and gentle, this experience stood out for all the wrong reasons. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, as the level of care and professionalism during this appointment did not meet the standard I experienced before.
