I called to book since I had two appointments to schedule, and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. My fiance had been for a massage here once before, but it was my first time. The check-in process was very easy, and my masseuse, Alisha, was very professional and friendly. I like that they don't use your time talking or asking a ton of questions- they spend that time towards treatment. I felt the massage was very relaxing and of course at times a bit painful!! Meh, overrated. I booked online and I don't live in San Antonio so I came up five hours from Midland for my appointment. I clicked on the address in the email, and followed the directions there. Upon arrival they informed me I was actually at the other location (why was that address the only one in the email then?!) and kind of acted like it was my fault. Fortunately, they were able to get me in, but it was with a therapist that was much more expensive than what I was quoted. Which I did not find out until I was checking out of course... On the intake form I said my neck, shoulders, and wrists were the areas I need worked on. The massage itself was good, Maria was nice, except ironically there was little to no attention put on my neck or wrists at all. The whole point of a massage is to relax and not think, which is why I assumed she would follow the intake form they requested me to fill out. Upon leaving I was asked for feedback and I told them just this- it really bummed me out that my neck is still sore after paying $100, and they said I could have 25 additional minutes next time and that I should've been more communicative with my therapist. Yeah OK that really helps. I've never heard of such customer service model. In the future: I would suggest making sure the therapist reads the form or asking the client specifically how much time they want spent on each area and then if the therapist feels like there should be other areas- inform us during the massage. And if you're going to ask for feedback that's great, however if someone tells you they don't live in the area then maybe a $20 credit to what they paid would make more sense. I don't want more time when my needs weren't met the first time. read more

Pros - their receptionists are super friendly and patient - they offer tier 1, 2, 3 therapists - they also offer chiropractors - the waiting area has ample seating and the couches are super comfy...and it always smells good here! - offer package deals - they do a good job with reminders (send email and text) - very easy to reschedule Cons - they only have 1 restroom in the waiting area so it can be a bit of a wait if many people need to go - the parking can be a bit challenging. Seemed like the therapist wasn't trained. She was very nice but didn't hit any spots. For example, the strokes were not followed through and the right muscles weren't targeted. My back has a lot of tightness but it felt like she was just going through the motions of just touching and not releasing tension. Although the pressure was good, it didn't feel like a professional who knew the depth, muscle curvature, and timing of strokes. Also she didn't even massage my feet. The people at the front desk and masseuse were friendly and nice. The massage was also good. The lower rating is for the dissatisfaction of time I tried to address to front desk, but was cut off. I was supposed to have a 50 minute session. I understand 5 mins for consultation/undress/dress (was told each), but my apt was at 10 am and wasn't called back until 10:10. After the talk and undressing the massage didn't start until 10:20/25. This being I didn't have much to go over and I can change quickly. Massage finally ended at 10:45. That's less than a 35 minute session. It's deceiving telling people you get a certain amount of session for a massage and including the consultation/undress/dress sessions. NOTE: I went on the first onto they opened after being closed for COVID-19. I'm really unsure how to rate them. The massage was great. I think the masseurs name was Kenny, but maybe spelled Canny. He was amazing and explained a lot of things to me. I get massages because of a back injury. But I was really frustrated because they were not properly implementing all safety measures. I asked ahead of time about masks. They said that all clients had to wear them. A majority were, but they did not enforce the mask requirement and there were two people I saw without them. Also, they said that clients had to remain in their cars and text and would.be called when the therapist was ready. But they told me.to come in and the wait was still approximately 5 minutes. Under normal circumstances that is a more than great wait time. But given the need for social distancing, it's a bad idea and not in keeping with the guidelines they assured me they were following. They also, didn't enforce other people just coming in without texting--i know because people said, can I didn't text, can I just come in. Also, I asked it the massage therapist would be wearing masks and they said yes, but the massage therapist didn't. I don't want to get into an argument about the choice to wear them. I know Texas put out guidelines, but absolute rules and said it would not be enforcing them criminally. But my choice is to go somewhere where everyone is.protecting each other. Now I can't decide if it's worth the risk to get the massage, which is really important for my pain management. I know the business doesn't want to lose the customers who won't come if they have to wear mask, so I sympathize. But, respectfully, businesses are going to lose my business if they aren't doing easy things to keep me safe. read more
