Was referred to Michelle by my health coach as I shared I was having bad pack pain that wasn't going away and seemed to be getting worst... like I had a pinched nerve or something more going on. I reached out to Michelle promptly after being given her information and she responded back fairly quickly. Her online booking was super convenient and allowed me to navigate through her services to see what I felt would best fit my budget and what services I wanted. I booked a deep tissue/Swedish massage as well as cupping. Her office was very easy to find and in a beauty salon. Plenty of parking. I was given a warm welcome by Michelle who had such great energy and an awesome vibe. Her work space was very clean and private, also had some great relaxing Hawaiian/Island music going. Michelle herself is also very personable and carries conversations very well... a good balance of talking but also some shared silence. It had been a while since I had a massage and the first I've ever had a deep tissue massage and cupping so I was prepared for a bit of relaxation but more of the intensity of it since I knew I was very tense and experiencing pain in various places. I immediately already started feeling relief shortly after my massage. i got a massage gift certificate from my sister for my birthday earlier this year and finally used my certificate last week. My sister raved about Massage by Michelle and was looking forward to my long awaited massage. I arrived at Hercules Fitness and parked toward the back across from the motorcycle shop. I was greeted by Michelle and she asked me where I parked. I told her I parked on those empty lots across the motorcycle shop. I hurt my back a few weeks ago while on vacation and it was still bothering me so I decided that I needed another massage (I had 2 while on vacation and they didn't help). I am a member of Hercules Fitness and I had seen Michelle's business cards and decided that I would give her a try. Michelle was able to fit me for Saturday and I am so happy that she did. I found Michelle via Yelp search. I have been working out a lot and was in need for a deep tissue massage. Michelle is located around the corner from my home which was a big reason for me deciding to go to the location. Anyway, I made my appointment online which is a plus. Upon arrival I was greeted by Michelle who was very nice and warm. She led me to the room to get ready. The room is small and cozy. The massage table was heated which was nice. The massage itself was just ok. I requested a deep tissue massage and it felt more like a Swedish massage. But it was still relaxing and I even fell asleep. The only complaint hence the 4 star and not 5 is there were several empty food dishes and coffee cups in the room. That was a big turn off for me. A massage room should be clean, calming, and free of debris. read more

Every time I come here, the massage gets better! Six stars for Michelle-- I'm a huge fan. Michelle is a natural healer and knows where I store my tension. What makes an A plus experience even better are the little things like the essential oil with eye mask that Michelle puts on my tired eyes. Today, the peppermint oil made me think of Christmas candy canes and though a little got into my eye, I thought the scent made the experience special. I especially loved the inspiring piano soundtrack that Michelle had playing and there was one song with birds singing in a rain forest. I saw Michelle twice and she was really good at providing the right amount of oompff that I needed. I have been to some that made me want to cry, and some where I wondered if they were doing anything, but Michelle was right where I wanted. On a scale of 1-10, I need about a 7-8. To me, 9 is making you cry, and 10 is where you scream with pain. Michelle hit me right in the range, and found the numerous spots where I needed some focus. Michelle is amazing!! I went in to see her because I had terrible lower back pain for a week and nothing was helping. Michelle was so kind and took care of asking me really helpful questions and really pinpointed where the pain was originating from. She also found other tense spots that, although were not painful, could have been contributing to the pain. She was always conscious of asking how well the pressure/intensity was making sure I was always comfortable, and she did not cut corners!!
