Fantastic massage! Nadja is very warm and welcoming. Scheduling is convenient and easy. Will definitely be back!

Wasn't able to find my address (the only person that has had this issue), initially sent the wrong amount and time that was agreed upon, waited 30 minutes - no show. Then had audacity to blame me. Even after offering to take some $ off for the driving time that was completely Nadja's fault. Basically unprofessional, unreliable, and a bad experience on the whole. Also requested them to quit texting me which wasn't respected so ended up blocking. And then, if that wasn't enough boundary crossing they left a voicemail so had to block phone calls as well. I can't speak to the quality or skills of the massage - especially if you can walk into their office rather than schedule a home visit. But at minimum this person was unable to find an address that is clearly on every driving direction app and had trouble respecting boundaries when asked to do so. read more

Reading the previous glowing reviews, I scheduled an hour and half massage with Nadja. I was not disappointed and it was an excellent experience. Highly recommend. read more

I am a connoisseur of massages. I've had massages from all over the world and I have been pampering myself with weekly massage treatments for years. I can say with the utmost certainty that a massage from Nadja is literally the best massage i have ever experienced in my life... I book a massage with her whenever I am in the Mendocino area. A slice of heaven on earth... Her massages are magical and otherworldly. And she is the sweetest, warmest, kindest soul you will ever meet. I feel very loved and taken care of in her presence.. Also, she uses the best, organic, products. The space is beautiful and comfortable. It's filled with lovely gifts of crystals, stones, local botanicals, fresh flowers, her handmade candles, art, tea and her handmade water fountain that I adore and a gorgeous view of the ocean... I will always come back and book a massage with Nadja when in Mendocino. It is a true blessing to know her and experience her gift of healing through massage... Thank you, Nadja... for your kindness, support, empathy with Hendrix and friendship... read more

So happy to have found Nadja for booking on the day of a massage! Her massage studio was so peaceful and serene with ocean views of Mendocino. The prenatal massage was exactly what I needed towards the end of my second trimester. Very relaxing! She was very in tune and attentive to my comfort throughout the massage. read more

Nadja said she has 25 years of experience and it definitely showed through the various techniques she employed throughout our 60 minute session. Her pressure point game is (pun intended) on point; she had a good balance of enough pressure to remove a lot of knots, while transitioning to a softer touch to give a breather for relaxation, before switching it up to warm stone massage. She did a great job working on each section of the body and I must say that she is the best masseuse I've had so far. She is strong, and I can tell the strength she applied is probably half of the maximum she can really do. Also to note, when you book a couples session, it's not at the same time as there is unfortunately only one Nadja! One area of improvement would be to supply extra support for bustier women as my wife was squished against the platform and remarked she should have asked for some as it was getting uncomfortable. read more

She fixed my shoulder. My second session - she worked on my thumbs and tennis calves. Also - exponentially better. Only lovely vibes to be sent to her and her natural & intuitive technique. It's very clear that Nadja has an understanding of how to get recalcitrant muscles to do what she needs them to do. Not every massage therapist gets that. I will say that her massage technique seems disjointed- but it's not. The only analogy I can come up with is massage therapy cross-fit. It's very effective. -A very thankful patron. read more

One of the best massages I've ever had (and that's a lot)! Nadja is strong and her hands convey this "knowing" and spiritual power to heal! I highly recommend a "session" with her as you will come away much better than you walked in! read more

My husband and I had couples massages while we were in town for the weekend. Nadja is very gracious and welcoming. She asked us about our preferences and made sure she understood our focus areas of tensions. The location is upstairs and has pleasant music playing and also a water fountain with soothing ambiance. The windows overlook the ocean. While one of us was enjoying their massage the other one laid on the soft, plush couch and took a nap. *note that the massages were not simultaneous * ...I assumed they would be, but was not a problem for us and forced us to relax further. Good for our souls! read more

Massage By Nadja - Mendocino Village - Massage Near Me - Mendocino, California

I've been fortunate to experience professional massage in major cities all over the world...Nadja is world-class. She is on another level with the experience, knowledge, and creativity she brings to her craft. I think of her as a designer of massage; she has put so much thought into the time you'll spend with her. Every detail matters to her and this is what separates her from the pack. Her studio is clean, cheerful, and artistic, with one-of-a-kind gifts for purchase (she makes beautiful candles and has local products on display). There is a stunning view of the ocean. Nadja is present, invested, and simply on another level from the rest. You will leave in an altered state with happy muscles! read more

Honestly, I had the best massage I've ever had today. I had a 90 minute massage with Nadja in May and couldn't wait to come back. She has very strong hands, and actively wants to respond to your requests about body parts. It is not a 'canned', traditional massage, but one tailored to your needs. This was a repeat visit for both my sister and I and we will be back! The gate and staircase are an adventure, which take you to the magic of her studio. So worth the effort. read more

Oh my goodness Nadja is amazing:-) I have been a massage therapist for many years and it is very difficult to find someone who still loves the work like I do. I felt like I got a healing from someone who truly listened to what my body had to say, and used so many wonderful modalities blended in to the perfect massage. read more

I had two fantastic massages from Nadja while in Mendocino this weekend. Not the usual lack luster effort. Each massage was different, but in both Nadja was creative and put energy into each stroke. She is very professional and had a large, airy space. I strongly recommended her to my wife. Both massages were excellent relative my experiences in California, Hawaii, Europe and Australia. read more

Great customer-oriented experience. I look forward to booking with Nadja in the future.

Nadja is an amazingly gifted massage therapist.Let's just say, my body has survived a couple of intense issues... and needs work She creates a wonderful safe place to relax and absorb her healing touch. She has great strength but also follows her instincts and uses various techniques to really soothe and help renew the body. Also your mind My only issue with her is the fact she moved away... You lucky folks in Mendocino Run... don't walk... She's FANTASTIC!! ...Miss you Nadja read more

Wow, this was a GREAT massage - I felt so much lighter and looser afterwards. 7+ months pregnant and she positioned me without making me lie on my side, which was awesome. Her space is very soothing with a gorgeous view out to the ocean. Highly recommended!! read more

Just got home from an appt with Nadja... sooooooooo good for so many reasons! Words can't describe:) Thank you Nadja!!! "Two words, NADJA CLARKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!! She is the most amazing massage therapist ever to lay hands on me. I'm a physical therapist and, needless to say, PICKY about my massages. I found Nadja a couple of years ago and it was love at first...touch. She is extremely passionate about her work, from the first minute of your massage to the last. She combines various modalities including swedish, deep tissue, stone massage, etc., to come up with the perfect combination for your needs. She is sweet, genuine, strong, and just plain amazing. I can't say enough. If you feel you need a strong and compassionate touch to help release and relax your over-used body, you've come to the perfect place!! Nadja's your girl, TRUST me!" read more

Nadja is a wonderful massage therapist who also does body treatments and facials. I regularly saw Nadja for massages, approximately once/month. To me, seeing Nadja wasn't a splurge, but rather part of my regular routine in order to stay healthy and sane! She works wonders and is very intuitive. Even after just a couple of sessions, she developed a personal massage that relaxed and rejuvenated me each visit. Just before leaving the Bay Area, I was able to experience Nadja's work with body treatments and facials. Those are just as good as her massages! I highly recommend Nadja. Her services are worthy every penny and you'll walk away feeling happy and balanced. read more

Such a great experience, that my husband (who does not have a Yelp account) pulled up Yelp for me and asked me to leave a review! My husband surprised me with a couples massage by Nadja and her colleague Noelle, and it was the best massage either of us have ever had! This isn't just a job for Nadja, this is her calling and she is truly a gifted healer. She was so in tune with energy, encouraged breath-work, and has incredible technique. The space was relaxed, casual, and calming. Mendocino is a special place for me and my husband, so we come here at least once a year - we'll be booking her and her colleague's talents again! read more

Every time I'm in Mendocino, I make it a point to see Nadja. She has magic hands and knows just how much and where to apply what pressure. Her space is welcoming, clean, and has a view of the ocean. Let me say that I have had a lot of body work in my life and I was a massage therapist for 11 years before becoming an acupuncturist. To give you an idea, it's all I ask for as gifts and I trade for body work any chance I get. So when I say that Nadja took me to a place I'd easy call heaven, you can trust that I've had enough experience that that compliment doesn't come easy! She is amazing! If you have the time for a massage and you want one that will take you to another place while removing your tension, aches and pains...CHOOSE NADJA!! I promise you will be so entirely grateful that you did!!! read more

I made the appointment for my significant other, and he was in heaven. He has several body issues, and Nadja is his go-to body worker. He gets the deep tissue massage, and always marvels at how such a small person can have such strength. He's been to several other massage people locally and in Ukiah, and Nadja is the only one who takes care of the kinks and crunches in his neck. You'll never regret having Nadja work on you- she's excellent!! read more

One of the best massages I've received to date. The thing that set's Nadja's place apart is the A to Z experience. The whole room is themed to be relaxing, from the lighting to the beautiful scents. But that's just the opener; Nadja's skills are top-notch and the oils she uses are among the best I've experienced, and she was really able to get into some deep tissue work as well. The massage was a special experience I won't be forgetting for a very long time. Thank you for accommodating us on such a short notice! Highly recommended. read more

Just got home from a fantastic massage by Nadja Clarke. She is amazing!! The website describes her style as including, "some hot stone work, stretches, fluid dancelike motions, and specialized focus on areas of pain." I'm very particular about massage therapists. I've had training myself, and I've received hundreds of massages in my life. I have had 1000's of massages over the years and do massage and energy work myself.. Using a cooking analogy.. some massages are fast food and that's fine but Nadja is a gourmet Chef.. Her massage is exquisite, she uses a variety of techniques and when appropriate, hot stones, salts and suction. She also has a mystical side that addresses the more subtle nature of how stress is developed and held in the body. On the practical side, she is on time, is very professional, the massage goes the exact amount of time it is supposed to, she gives you water to take with you after the massage to assist in flushing toxins released during the massage and she is affordable. I will get massages with her whenever possible and highly recommend her. read more
