I really don't want to write this review as I'm afraid everyone is going to try to book with my masseuse, but I want to be fair :) I am a regular so I can tell a good massage from a bad one (I've seen 4 different masseuses here) I try to come at least twice a month if I can get certain masseuses. First off, Alex from Hot Springs is amazing. I've been seeing him since last year. He is really experienced and from his book of clients you can tell everyone loves him including me. The only issue is he's booked 3 months in advance but he's worth the wait. Also, the time before last I had a 90 mins massage with Alex and we were placed in a different room and the air conditioner kicked on 3 different times scaring me each time. Alex apologized but it wasn't his fault. It was just hard to relax or stay asleep when that noise would come on. I have found another masseuse who I want to thank for relieving my pulled hamstring after I did yoga. (I also need to thank the man who answered the phone who recommended Brad to me!) I was only able to see Brad for an hour but he saved me. He worked his magic with his hands and is exceptional. To tell you how addicted I was.. I drove down to midtown Massage Envy 1.5 weeks later to see him for 90 mins since he works there on the weekends - now don't take all his appointments from me, please. If you're a runner like me, Alex and Brad are your guys. My back and legs feel great and 90 minutes was the perfect amount of time. Thanks for that! I thought I was not going to do a review, but maybe I could save someone else. Well I signed up for a membership a year ago, big mistake. If I pay my monthly fee every month on auto payment no late payments it's my business if I give them away to the same person. At the end of my Contract I had visits that had already been paid for but if I did not use them they expire when my contract run out. It's a lot of fine print in there contract, hated it glad it's over. Another thing they tell you membership can be used at any store and any state. It can, but be prepare to explain your membership to every employee because really I don't think they understand it. They always say "I don't see how many remaining you have because you did not sign up at our store. What freaky different does it make. Lastly I wanted to give one of my months away at Christmas, since I was not at the store I signed up at another problem. Today was a stressful day looking forward to my last one hour and half, great enjoyed it. Walked out front desk young lady say, am sorry you have no more prepaid. Are you freaky kidding me again. I am a member in another state and stopped by on a whim during a few hours of downtown I had during a visit to Little Rock. Cassyl was my therapist, and oh my goodness, she was phenomenal. She did an amazing job of focusing on the problem areas I mentioned, and both her technique and her strength were impressive (I always ask for a deep pressure, but I often don't get as much pressure as I feel like I want/need- not the case this time! It was perfect!). During my session, I kept thinking how I wished I lived here so I could make her my regular massage therapist each month. read more

I had a message today with Joseph and he was wonderful. I haven't had a message in a long time so I was a little nervous. He was so friendly and professional and made me feel completely comfortable. I had the Deep Muscle Therapy. Not a fan. They use biofreeze on you. It feeks like icyhot, which I don't like. And I smelled like methol -- had to go straight home to take a shower. Not to mention that It burns and then it feels cold afterwards. Hardly relaxing. NOT RECOMMENDED. The girl worked out my kinks at least, BUT cut me 15 minutes short of my 90 minute massage. The facility is extremely small and there is really no where to relax while you wait. It was just okay and quick in-and-out place. Very commercial. It was okay until I UNFORTUNATELY went to check out and the girl was trying to sell me on a stupid membership! I I said NO 3 times and said I usually don't have time and it's not for me, but she kept rambling on about how I can use it next month. Clearly I am not interested and even less now. STOP TRYING TO SELL MEMBERSHIP or learn how to take NO for an answer. If you find yourself in NW Arkansas, I prefer Spa Botanica in Rogers. They are not pushy and they have better facilities, extremely relaxing, clean, and larger. Massage Envy is for the quick fix; not Relax and Unwind. I left there angry and STRESSED OUT. read more

I am, admittedly, a massage junkie and Have enjoyed massages at numerous locations and spas throughout North America. However, we are blessed, here in Little Rock, to have the BEST massage therapist. Glenda, at Massage Envy on Chenal Parkway has the magical touch that can heal everyday tensions as well as chronic pain. I have a massage twice monthly with Glenda and truly feel better than ever. So I was a faithful client for close to 6 months. (I have issues with lower back and legs) In the 6 months I went EVERY Sunday morning, same time, booked another when leaving, ALWAYS for 90 minutes with at least a $20 tip. Then I started thinking I was being tossed around to whom ever was available, started getting bad massages. Then the breaking point was one Saturday night at 8:45 I got a call from the receptionist telling me my appointment had been double booked ( didn't think that was possible with computers). And both locations were booked. Wanted to book me as soon as I could come in. I asked Her since their policy was if I cancel at last minute, still have to pay, so do I get a break? Her reply was" not our policy ". So glad I didn't ever become a member, never went back. read more

Customer service has deteriorated as has the ability to book appointment. Having been a member since 2016 I have seen many therapists go and right now I don't think they have more than 3-4 to choose from. i try to schedule 3 weeks out as that is how far in advance I get my work schedule and it is nearly impossible to get in. I tried calling to set up a transfer for a friend and I called every 15 minutes for three hours and couldn't get a person in the phone. I finally got a call back two DAYS later after leaving four messages. After accruing double digit sessions from my membership because I can't seem to get an appointment, I have tried to get some use with the transfer policy. I booked a friend in August and another in September and was told it hadn't been long enough for the second. The policy says 1 per month and the last time I checked August and September were different months. The poor associate answering the phones has no ability to help and is limited to what the computer lets her do. Of course there isn't anyone who can help there during business hours so I am now awaiting a call back from an owner/manager. Used to be a fun relaxing place to go but now seems to be becoming another COVID casualty. read more

I tried to book a massage at M.E. today but was told I had to give a credit card over the phone. No thanks. Not sure whatever happened to customer service but it seems they are fresh out of it at massage envy. It is a shame when someone loses a customer before they step foot through the door. read more

I've had many massages off and on throughout the years, and I must say, this was by far the best! Usually I hurt afterwards Bcuz of bak issues. They just find a knot and go, but not here, I got the hot stone massage and boy it was relaxing. The heat just loosened my knots right up and the magical fingers of Liz, it was truly enjoyable. Hello All, This rating is based on the customer service after signing a year long contract with Massage Envy at the location on Chenal. The first massage was paid for by debit and was a decent experience however, when signing up for the massage I expressly verbalized a request for a reminder call since the appointment was a month and a week away. I set a reminder in my phone that night and got a call four days before my "scheduled" appointment at 645 asking if I was going to show for my 630 appointment for that day. After haggling with the lady then being placed on hold, she came back to say she would only charge me half for my "no show" because their automated system showed that it called me and I NEVER received that call. Two thumbs down. I will not only refrain from recommending anyone in the future but will make sure all I come in contact know what a scam this place is. They can call me to tell me I'm late and not give me the benefit of the doubt on my very first appointment after an automated system said it contacted me? This is a terrible excuse for how a business should be run. read more

The massages here are great. And the therapists have all been very good and professional. The membership details have been very lacking ... They continued my 1 year agreement without asking me ... Putting your membership on hold also means you can't use any of the credits you've already paid for ... You can only share your credit with someone after paying a decent fee and can only do it no more often than every 6 months. And more. They seem unwilling to "work with you" and overall function as a large and impersonal organization than the feeling of being a true member of something great read more

The massage therapists are amazing; however, the management including the owner, Vicki and Manager, Glenda, are inadequate and incapable of running a business. I spent two years spending money on a membership as well as tipping my massage therapist, Denzel. However, when I decided to cancel my membership, management-unprofessionally-penalized me by erasing credits to my account. After multiple attempts to speak with the owner, she refused to return my calls and sent other team members to speak with me-hiding behind her act of stealing my money. DO NOT spend your money here. We were given a price on the phone when we booked our massage, but when we finished we got charged a different price. It's just okay. I've had a lot better massages but they can usually schedule you in quickly. I've been there twice now and both experiences are just mediocre. To me the prices are too high for the quality of service. The establishment itself is very nice and the staff is friendly. However, it's very "chain/commercial" feeling and the staff lost my paperwork and another returning clients paperwork also. Both times I paid for a 60 minute massage and by the time the therapist started (late) I was only able to receive 45 minutes. I didn't argue with the price since I was aware that might happen again; due to the last shortened experience. I probably wouldn't give them a third try, at least not at this location. I also don't like that they try to push a membership on you, very pushy. Like I mentioned very "commercial", better luck somewhere else. These ladies seem sweet but lacking experience. read more

I had a giftcard and received two facials. I enjoyed my facials and the lady was very polite. However, I was extremely pestered both times to apply for membership and kept being asked why I was not applying. I feel as though this is too personal of a question and did not like the way that the facials ended because of this. I think that you would have more repeat customers if this question was not asked or if people weren't so bothered about the membership. Thus, good service will keep your business going. read more

Perhaps one of the worst personal experiences ever.... would rate it no stars if possible. The facility was pleasant but that's where it ended! Time reserved to start was 20 minutes late, the therapist reviewed the "profile sheet" they have you complete "prior" to the massage beginning, had me to prep and then came in and reviewed the profile sheet again and immediately advised that she was not qualified to perform a deep tissue massage and would inquire to see if another therapist was available. The same therapist returned stating no one else was available but she would give it a try and if I didn't like it to let her know at which time I could re-schedule when a qualified therapist was available. 60 seconds into the massage, told the therapist her methods were not sufficient so she stopped, asked that I get dressed and return to the front desk to confirm a re-schedule date. Returned to the front desk and they wanted to CHARGE me $50 dollars for canceling and for not telling them in advance what type of massage I desired! Staff, manager included, became very rude, animated and disrespectful suggesting it was my fault that they provided a "non-qualified" therapist and because of the 60 seconds of service, I would have to pay the full cost. Needless to say, I refused to pay one red cent for anything! The manager supposedly called the owner and got permission to drop the charges with a parting admonition, "Next time, tell them in advance what type of treatment I wanted". Well of course, I left parting words as well, "Next time read your own self provided profile sheets that are completed in advance of your therapist even seeing the customer" Will NEVER return to that establishment again!! read more
