This is my oasis. I work from home, hunched over my computer all day. I go to the gym, but it is difficult to stretch and to recover. I come here every two weeks for deep tissue. Stretching and repair. I need it to be work not relaxation. And I need to leave the massage feeling stronger and yet relaxed. Something to help repair my muscles and my sanity. It is hard to find a massage therapist that can do all of that. The best thing about This location (besides being close to home) is that you can try out differing styles of massage and therapists until you find one that works for you. I recently found Renato. He is adept at knowing what parts of your body affect other parts. After a massage with him it feels almost like I saw a physical therapist. Okay, they get paid less than they normally would. They are busy though, and they don't do any advertising, pay any rent, supply sheets, etc. etc. The price is awesome with the membership. I always add on a half hour so my total for first massage is about 98.00 for 1 1/2 hrs. If I get a second one it is 69.00 for a hour and a half. You just cannot beat it. I'm in for over a year now. Yesterday I called and scheduled a appointment and told them I wanted to sign up for membership. They asked that I come in 20 min early for paperwork. Sunday day of appointment I show up 20 min early to find several employees standing at the door in the rain. I wait outside the door in the rain for 10 min, then asked the employees if any had called or been called by the person with the key. Nobody had heard from the key holder, I assume the were sleeping or something since I work in the spa industry I know it's normally common practice for the key holder of a spa to come in 30 min before client arrival. I told the employees my name and asked that they cancelled my appointment when they got in. My husband was sure the manager would call to apologize but I have heard nothing yet. I'm very disappointed in my experience and with I had just slept in. A few days later they did apologize:-) and offered me 2free massages. Meh...It usually takes me at least 10 minutes to check out due to the chaos at the front desk. I love the massage therapist Lisa but since she's no longer working Saturday's, I went ahead and transferred to another location...which has been much better. Lisa's great and highly recommended. I've been a member for over 6 yrs and I'm finished with this company. This franchise (Massage Envy as a entity) doesn't have their logistics or quality control to charge the prices they do and their customer service is very poor to long time customers. They have very limited means to assist with issues and their personal abilities are questionable. read more

I went in for a massage last year, and I would say it was mediocre at best. Maybe it's because of all the Covid restrictions, but it didn't seem as relaxing as previous massages I have had prior. I honestly feel that it was a waste of money. read more

The front desk staff is warm, welcoming, friendly, and helpful; the waiting area is calming and well-appointed--though I think the only time I actually sat in it was when I filled out my initial paperwork; I've not had to wait--and the rooms provide a soothing environment all-around. I've been to the Circle C location and seen two therapists. I thought the first one was good, but my most recent appointments have been with Sunshine, and she's been fantastic. (Great; now you all know! I'll have to start booking ages in advance! ;P) I have this habit of storing tension in my muscles and working up these mondo knots, and she's an expert at dissolving them; my problem areas have decreased each time I've gone in. I'm like a normal person now! The therapists have both been wonderfully receptive to feedback, given excellent advice on after-massage self-care (I get deep tissue massages), and also given great advice on how to prevent those nasty knots in the first place. The only reason I knocked off one star was because there was an apparent misunderstanding when I signed up for my membership. As I understood it, if I signed up before the end of the month, my membership fee for the year would be locked in at $39.99/month, and the fee would be going up to $49.99/month for people who signed up the next month. I was indeed charged $39.99 the first month, but my fee went up to $49.99 the next month, and when I brought it up, I was told that what the person with whom I originally communicated must have meant was that my initial massage would only be $39.99. I wasn't terribly thrilled about that, but I did negotiate the membership contract over the phone, and I know better than that. The lesson of the day? Always get the terms in writing, and be sure to read through them before signing whenever negotiating any sort of contract. Awful, NEVER AGAIN! Bathrooms are so dirty. As far as some of the therapists go (i.e. Serge and Leticia) they are great. However, I will NEVER be coming back to Massage Envy because the front staff and Manager Noel are not customer service driven. They are happy to charge you but as soon as there is a problem with your account you never hear back from them. I had a membership for over a year, and all of the sudden they started charging me $60 a month instead of what I agreed in the contract $49. Noel said they sent out notices and called, but I never got a letter or a message. Other Massage Envy's sent a certified letter with tracking, but they were too cheap to do that. My guess is they probably don't care if the customer got notice. People are so busy they probably hoped no one would notice. When I brought it to Noel's attention (Regional Manager) he said about 3% percent did not get notice and apologized. He never attempted to credit back the overcharges. Then after I TIMELY canceled my membership they charged me 2 more massages on my credit card. I waited several weeks to get a call back from a manager as to why they kept charging me. Yet they had no problem calling me to confirm my last booked appointment. Like I said when it comes to them taking your money they will do so without a problem, but the moment you have a problem it's like you don't exist. Another issue is the massage is 50 minutes - not an hour. The first 5 are used for undressing and last 5 are supposed to be for dressing but many times the therapist 8 or more minutes before stop massaging. And then if you want to change your appointment or forget about it, then u get charged even for not going. However, Massage Envy can call you last minute to cancel or change your appointment and they don't seem to care that you were parking your car. It's a very one sided business that is lacking core customer service values. They do like to throw apologies around though that aren ot backed up with any kind of sympathy. It's like they think we (Customers) are doing them a favor. Yet there are so many places to get a masssage where I can pay a little more but have outstanding stress free service. My recommendation is go some place else. This chain has lost its touch. They pry on people not having time to check they're credit card statements and think a simple apology fixes things while I have to spend several hours of my weekend on the phone with the credit card company to fix things. read more

On Monday 12/26, I had an appointment. Planned on using a gift certificate that I had for a 90 minute massage. The massage therapist was Briana & she was good. Felt totally relaxed. Then at check out, that's when it went wrong. I was told that my certificate wasn't going to be accepted, that I needed to pay $90. There was no manager on site to speak to. Then was told the manager would contact the place that the certificate had been purchased at. The gal made a copy of the certificate. My certificate it didn't say anything about having to go to a specific location. Needless to say I am really upset. Relaxed feeling was gone and super stressed. When the appointment was made, I mentioned I had a certificate. Will never go back to Massage Envy & will be letting others know of my experience. read more

Went to my scheduled appt to be told it was another date... UHUUU?! Then I replied... no, it is right now. The skinny brown hair staff chick said... NOPE IT IS ON NEXT WEEK... like insinuating/ that I am lying?!... left pretty pissed off!!! no apology or anything for my inconvenience. It was more about getting defensive than gaining a longterm customer. Nxt week I showed up and when checkout, she sales me the automatic speech promotion, I said: slow down and tell me prices etc...she was keep talking 100 miles per hour (same skinny brown hair chick) and I said... (repeating what she was talking for confirmation) and she was looking so annoyed like if she was making me (the customer!)a favor... Customer service sucks big time there... after checking reviews from years ago seems this place has not improved a bit. 2 stars for the massage that was good actually. read more

I prefer sports massage and deep tissue massages and sometimes have facials here. I've had several massages by different therapists and my experiences have definitely varied based on the massage therapist. Veronica is great, but can be difficult to book with, Dalton helped me recover post half-marathon, and Kaylea is one of my new favorites for deep tissue work. The friendliness and helpfulness of the front desk staff can be a bit hit-or-miss, but I've not had any really "bad" experiences with them... just a bit of attitude and poor matches/recommendations for massage therapists a couple of times. The facials are pretty good and I like Murad products, but I don't like that they don't use tools for extractions. (Instead, they put gloves on and manually extract--ouch!) read more

Awful experience. I scheduled my massage a few weeks ago for a Friday night at the end of a long work week. I arrived at Massage Envy for my 8 pm appointment and was told "oh sorry, your massage therapist blocked off her schedule so there's no one to give you your massage". Totally unacceptable in my opinion. There was no offer to make it right. I was simply told they didn't know what was going on with that massage therapist and they tried to move other people's massages around, but could not accommodate mine. I will never be back to this location, and would advise others to go elsewhere. Had it been me that didn't show up for my appointment, I would have been charged 50% of the cost. When the massage therapist doesn't show up for the client, there is no attempt to make it right. Terrible customer service. read more

The locations nationwide make it a convenient thing. At the Circle C location, Laura gives the best deep tissue massage I've ever had and is excellent at relieving tension and pain. i DISLIKE THE UPSELLING AFTER THE MASSAGE.... I WAS CHARGED FOR THE MEMBERSHIP WITHOUT MY PERMISSION Today was my fourth and last visit to Massage Envy in Circle C. Today I had a 2 hr massage with Nancy (who I highly recommend). The massages were great as it always is. My issue is the up-selling of their membership plan. I get the hard sell for the program AFTER my massage which starts to irritate me... After a massage, I'm relaxed and don't want anyone pushing a membership on me. The sales person is persistent and I'm told I can save so much money by joining the program. Of course, I'm like a wet noodle and finally say yea.. I'm told to take a seat while they process the paperwork for a 6 month membership. I have no idea how long I was sitting, but I finally pulled out a book and when I got to the 4th page of new chapter. I realized the lady that sold me the membership was not busy completing my sale but she was busy selling the same thing to 2 other customers that came out after me. I went out to my car and got a bottle of water, came back in she is still selling to other customers... I walk up to the desk and she say's we are almost done and hands me a contract. I crumpled it up and threw it in the trash. Told her to charge my card for the massage but I did not want to wait for the membership. I was PISSED about having to sit in their waiting room while they wasted my time.. Needless to say, I was no longer relaxed... and no longer a customer of Massage Envy (the McDonalds of Massage). Just be aware of their membership program sales push. It is the same tactic used by the larger brewery/winery tours. You get the tour, you hit the sample room, have a few drinks, then they exit you through the gift shop. At that point you'll buy anything. UPDATE - I JUST CHECKED MY CREDIT CARD AMOUNT AND THE MEMBERSHIP FEE WAS CHARGED TO MY CREDIT CARD. read more

Beware! When you cancel your membership, you will only have one month to use up your prepaid massages. This was communicated in writing, but I unfortunately did not read the paper (shame on me). However, I feel this is a pretty major policy that should be verbally communicated when your membership is cancelled. When I called to complain, the manager informed me that she spoke with me and "definitely" communicated to me that the massages must be used by July 6. I have aboslutely no recollection of this happening. If I had been told I had to use my 4 massages by a certain date or they would expire, I am positive I would have done just that. I would not have wasted $200! I am also not sure how someone can say they "definitely" communicated something to me unless they have a recording of it. read more

my husband bought me an hour massage for valentines day, and i had really been looking forward to it since i always tend to be extra stressed in my neck and shoulder region. upon making the appointment i was asked to come in 15 minutes early to fill out paper work. i wondered if me being pregnant would be an issue, but decided to wait until i got there to see. the women at the front desk were really quite loud for a massage place. it would seem to me they would wanna keep their voices down as to provide for a more spa like environment. so i filled out the paperwork, checked yes that i was pregnant since it asked, and turned it in at the front desk. i assumed since the paper work asked, and i checked yes...that all would be good. surely this would be the time to discuss this matter right? but, no one ever said anything to me until my therapist came to get me. so i thought, "huh, guess that was that." while it is my fault for not knowing to of asked for someone who does prenatal massage, i think this probably all could of been avoided if they would of actually looked at the paperwork i filled out. but instead, i had my hopes up of getting my massage by the best therapist ever...only to learn that i can't...because i am pregnant. so lesson learned on my part, i will wait until after my pregnancy to get a massage because i am not wasting my money on someone just grazing my skin. i actually need a deep tissue massage...which will just have to wait. which is fine obviously, i am in no way signing up for something that could harm my baby. what is not ok though, is how this lady treated me. she was quite rude and really unprofessional. like i said, take a minute to look over the paper work you asked me to fill out before you try to make me feel like a moron for not knowing something that is a part of your every day job. even though i love that man sergei, i will not be going to massage envy to treat myself to my much deserved after pregnancy massage. read more

I was not overly pleased with the Southpark Meadows location, but I was willing to give the Circle C location a try since my friend said she goes there and loves it. I was very adamant about having a therapist that is willing to truly give a deep tissue massage. The woman I was talking to was very friendly, and she recommended Sergei. She stated he is highly sought out. I had my first massage this past weekend with Sergei, and he was wonderful. He gave the deepest massage I have ever had. He was very pleasant, and I booked my next massage with him without any doubt! I would recommend this location. read more

The Southpark Meadows location convinced me that the monthly membership fee was reimburseable by my HSA. That is completely false! I submitted "HSA Approved" receipts to my HSA, and they have flatly declined, and now my HSA card has been deactivated because of all of this. I would have never joined if I knew that stress massages are not covered. I told them 6 weeks ago that I wanted to discontinue my membership because my HSA won't pay for it, and after some run around, they agreed. Two weeks ago I went in and signed some paperwork and had my last massage. Today they called me and told me that my HSA card wasn't accepting the charge, and that I needed to make another payment. I am furious that I have to pay one more month for a service that I discontinued 2 weeks ago. I think the whole thing is a ripoff. read more

I was given a gift card to this place, so I booked an appointment online. No one ever contacted me as per the email. The day of my appointment I called to confirm. The lady who answered said that the manager was out and did not confirm any online appointment and they were all booked. Why have online reservations, If they do nothing? I was looking forward to a relaxing day, but after reading some other reviews looks like lucked out, a will skip a hard sales pitch afterwards. I have been to Massage Envy Circle C at least a dozen times. It's my go to place when I feel like I need to treat myself to some pampering without feeling guilty about it:) Honestly, you can't beat the introductory/first time visit price of $49. I actually have a membership with Massage Envy. It's pretty convenient. I totally love the fact that I know that I'll get a massage once a month (cause I deserve it, of course!) to help ease my achey neck and back muscles. You tailor your massage to your needs; swedish, sports, deep tissue, etc. You can have a 60, 90, 120 min session, you can add upgrades, like aroma therapy lotions and specialized heating techniques for your back or feet. I've had sessions with a good number of therapist. They are all very kind and in tuned with your body/muscles, and to which areas need more attention. Also, you can tell them what you want. I often elect not to have my legs massaged, not that it doesn't feel great, I just want more time spent on my back. read more

Super frustrated. Tonight I had a massage at this location and it was terrible. I question if my masseuse has even had training. I am a SAHM so getting out for some "me time" is pretty rare and I was looking forward to a much needed massage. I feel like this is too common of an occurrence at Massage Envy - no matter the location - its a 7/10 chance you're going to get a poor quality of massage. I've had a few great massages, most have been mediocre but this one definitely takes the cake on the worst. I complained at check out but they simply said that maybe I could get a $10 aromatherapy booster at my next massage. But I didn't see them write anything down so the likelihood of that is doubtful. read more

Both are fantastic. We were members for a long time starting in Houston. We quit for a while after we moved here, but decided that our quality of life depended on it!!! Went for a 1-hour deep tissue with "Chris" today and left walking on air! He has a soothing, quiet presence and you get the benefit of his concentrated handiwork. The front desk is friendly and helpful, especially Megan. I actually booked the appointment at the very last minute and had 15' to spare when I zipped down there. I was also given a 1 hr massage to try and make things right. I really appreciate and think highly of a manager that listens to there customers. Can't beat massage envy circle c---for the price or the convenience! I have been a member since they opened. Most recently, I got massages from Keri and Cassandra---.both were excellent!!! I was sore from a 1/2 marathon in Colorado that I did not realize was a mountain climb as well as a run--- they helped pamper me back to life! I love to go at 9pm after my children are in bed---and just fall into bed when I get home! read more

I've visited this location a couple of times and have not been disappointed. They are awesome at getting you in on time and at times when I called on short notice they were helpful in getting me in as quickly as they could. Everything is clean, the music is soothing, and parking hasn't been an issue for me yet. I totally recommend this location as well as one of the staff name Joann, she was awesome and really helped me relax. Membership is great for folks who get a massage on a regular basis! Reasonably priced, nice clean facility and a very relaxing atmosphere. I have my favorite therapists, but I am sure there are several very good ones. Sometimes the front desk staff do not seem to be on the same page and would benefit from receiving more training before attempting to wait on customers. Most are professional and helpful. read more

I am a big fan of deep tissue massage. I am not a big fan of massage therapists that do swedish massage and call it deep tissue. I also have a tremendous amount of respect for any professional that is willing to put in the work to do deep tissue correctly. It's great when you find that one special therapist that does a fantastic job. However, it's even better with today's busy schedules to have access to an entire team of excellent therapists.I am pleased to report that all of the massage therapists that I have visited (and requested specifically for deep tissue) have been excellent. Ultimately, my money is my vote and I think that my Massage Envy membership is a luxury that am more than willing to pay for. read more

I joined Massage Envy in Feb of this year and am loving it so far! Scheduling has been easy breezy and the front desk is always polite. I have found my dream therapist as well! Kerry Williams rocks my world and really gets those knots out! So far, billing has been easy. Just comes out once per month and I add tip right to the card I have on file.
