I had a pedicure here. I showed up, checked in and had been brought to the back for the pedicure. It wasn't until that point that they informed me their hot water heater hadn't been working all day so I had the "option" of having a pedicure without water or having cold water for it. I would have much preferred a call beforehand notifying me of this issue and having the option to reschedule prior to spending nearly $100 on a pedicure. The pedicure itself was alright. Cuticles weren't really addressed whatsoever and after less than a week the polish was already chipping. I came here for my birthday! I had a wonderful experience at Hiatus day spa! I got the clean slate facial by Crystal and a 80 minute massage by Ken! Crystal and Ken were both incredible and skilled in their profession. I left the spa feeling silky smooth! Some unique things this spa does that I haven't seen at other spas is the really sweet complimentary start to your session. They offer a foot soak or neck steam prior to your treatment. They also hand you a little sheet to personalize your treatment during check in. There's cucumber water and hot tea in the lounge area. The dressing/changing rooms are clean, serene and the lockers are easy to use! Hiatus is pricey but really worth it. My massage (Truly Yours) also was supposed to come with a glass of champagne but I never got it.. My only complaint is during check out there was a woman working the register around 4:20 on 11/10 and her boyfriend was behind the desk.. how unprofessional! I've been a member for three months. I really want to like this place, but for the past three months the showers in the women's locker room have not been working. The temperature fluctuates from scalding to icy cold, the showers don't drain, and the showerheads don't work. I think it is critical to be able to rinse off after a massage. I love this place. My wife got me a gift certificate for my birthday since I struggle with chronic back pain. This is my third time visiting and the service was just as wonderful as the last two times. As soon as you walk in, it's a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The front desk is always kind and calming and the locker area is well maintained and clean. I did a 75 minute Signature massage with Rose and it was easily one of the top three massages I've ever had. She adjusted incredibly well to the pressure needed in each area without me having to say a word. I plan on going back again soon and will need to request Rose for any future work. read more

Mabel saved my lifeeee. I got the knockout, Such an amazing massage. I felt so much pop in my muscles, I could literally feel my years old knots melt away. Came here with a group of 5 for a bachelorette party spa day. They didn't have enough massage therapist for us to all get massages at the same time so we had to split it half at one hour and the other half during the next hour. They did allow everyone to use the serene waiting room to kill time which had some tea/water, magazines, and mood lighting. They also provided us with free champagne. This was my first time here and my boyfriend surprised me with a spa package! He literally dropped me off and told me to have the best time! When I entered the building, the kind gentleman told me Happy Anniversary! This was the reason I was here. I was in for a massage with Kenzie and a facial with Sunshine. I loved how friendly the staff was! It was awesome to see the robes and slippers as well. They have lots of different size and was super clean. They have two showers and lockers to put your items. There is a lot of space to park in the parking structure in the back. My massage with Kenzie was great!! She had firm pressure and was super relaxing. I added the scalp massage because of the cooling oil they put. It was a very relaxing feeling. I would definitely book with her again. She was fabulous! My facial with sunshine was great! She was super sweet and I even added an eye brow and lip wax! She did a great job getting on the black heads on my nose! My face felt super soft and clean! Overall, I had a great first experience. My totally for a one hour massage, one hour facial, and waxing was $315. That was also including tip! It was a great day and I can't wait to go back and try other services! read more

I don't know why I waited sooo long to start their membership program! You get to choose between a facial, massage, acupuncture or even a mani/pedi! It's 79 a month and so so worth it. They make it a very relaxing experience & even have a relaxation room prior to the service you're getting. I saw Erin & she was so sweet! Just got back home from a spa day my husband organized for my birthday. He purchased the Shangrila Package but due to their busy schedule I wasn't able to do the massage portion of it today. I had a very pleasant experience with Bree (spelling?) for my facial and she provided me with excellent service and conversation as well as some advice for my skin based off what she'd seen and the questions I had. I then relaxed and enjoyed their hot tea until I was called back for the second portion of the day. Her name was T (nickname I assumed) who got me relaxed and took care of a my mani/pedi experience. Everything was great all in all and I will update after my massage in July. The reason I am leaving 4 starts instead of 5 is for the following. Lack of Communication about process when they knew I was a new customer. Bree became more comfortable and explained what she was doing further into her portion and I don't have anything negative to say about that experience. However, T seemed to be just rolling through doing whatever she was doing. I get it, it's Friday and all but it would have been nice to know how long I'd be sitting for when doing my toes, offer a level of pressure when massaging, explaining how the awesome chair worked so I could drink my tea, and just being more there with me. I cannot comment on the results of my facial bc I have such horrible skin that anything done is better than nothing. My face is not irritated so that's a positive. In regards to my mani/pedi, my pedicure wasn't done better than any regular old nail salon. My feet weren't buffed enough so there's still plenty of visible dry skin and she didn't clean up the polish around my big toe. The first I can look over but the second? That just takes an extra moment of her time to see and fix up. For the prices paid, I would go again for the facial but not for a mani/pedi. read more

I've been a member for about 2 years (starting right before the pandemic) and have been pretty satisfied thus far. Scheduling has been hard because of Covid, staff shortages, and their recent renovations but all I've had to do was email and they immediately restored my expired credits to my account. I'm a bit more forgiving about the scheduling issues than other members, it seems, but read the room, it's a nationwide issue, they can't book more appointments if they don't have the staff. The facilities are very nice. The locker room is stocked with necessities, and everything is very clean. Hiatus is 10x better than the other spa I was a member of. I'm hesitant to give the names of my favorites because I don't want to have any more trouble booking with them, but for Facials Brianna is amazing. I would die for her. She has the hands of an angel. I've had many facials and I would never consider them very relaxing as the extractions, peels, treatments can be a bit spicy but Brianna works some kind of magic and I've caught myself falling asleep during her services. She's so good. Would also die for Tyler. He really listens when it comes to pressure needs. I don't have to give much direction though, he knows what he's doing. I'm a very anxious person who physically struggles with relaxing, but Tyler makes it very easy. Overall I feel like I really get my money's worth at Hiatus. read more

John Brown really knows and understands the body! I have been having trouble in my shoulder, but the real problem was in my left hip and left foot. Treating those areas first brought relief to my shoulder which helped him to treat a better relaxed shoulder than if he just went straight to my shoulder. I have been a part of the H Circle for over a year, paying a monthly fee. Hiatus has not returned my phone calls or emails ONCE. They have not been available to schedule appointments. The one appointment I could make was booked 3 months out. When I went in the entire building was under construction and it was not a spa like experience. I asked in person to speak with the manager about the fact that I pay monthly to be a part of the H circle and am not able to use my benefits because of the lack of reception support. I was guaranteed a call back. Nothing. My account has been being charged every month and I cannot even schedule a massage. I've tried to cancel - nothing. Terrible customer experience. Terrible support. Do not sign up. I want a refund for the last 12 months of paying and not being able to schedule any massages. read more

I was a member here for months. DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP. Awful, rude customer service. Impossible to regularly book services because they cannot keep staff. And, even when you do cancel, you will start getting charges months later because they changed the rules. I tried to be reasonable when there was a waitlist for a pedicure, or when the one person making them a "medspa" left, but new charges months later has crossed a line. Completely heart broken. Was so hopeful to have a wonderful birthday and belated Mother's Day treat for my mom and I today, but was canceled up walking up. I live in Dallas and only had fabulous experiences at these chains but today the Austin location was a complete let down and the receptionist gave no F's. Not like it's her fault but management can find ways to accommodate esp since they knew we were a mother daughter duo and I was coming from out of town. Staff injured themselves the night prior but I got the call moments before walking in. If I got hurt last night and couldn't make my appt it would of cost me big $$. So the lack of respect for my time and my moms shows where customer service in this town has gone. Thanks for a poopy experience. :( read more
