My biggest issue with Massage Envy is the cancellations when a therapist can't make it in. I get massages for a reason, my body needs them. I have an appointment tomorrow, they just called and canceled, and next available appointment wasn't until March 11. I've already been working on credits for months I've already paid for because of previous cancellations. If it's going to work, like this, maybe just don't charge my card this month, but of course they want to get paid. read more

I purchased three memberships and myself, my daughter, and sister-in-law come every month together at the same time. Yesterday, I received a call saying the person I was booked with was not available was it ok to put me with someone else, I agreed. Then we all show up at our schedule time together to find the time for one of them had been moved to and hour later. Considering we all come together every month and have made plans after our appointments this is totally unacceptable. I told them to cancel mine and none of us would be back. I didn't get an apology or anything the three employees just went back to talking. What a disappointment and how totally unprofessional. Horrible customer service!!!! read more

I started a membership in Virginia 15 years ago. I transferred it to SC when I moved there and transferred it again when I moved to Slidell 3 years ago. During the 3 year membership here, they raised my monthly fee twice without notifying me. I paid them thru credit card automatic payments. I asked on several occasions for them to use my transfer hours from the SC location and that did not happen. Since I was not going there during COVID, I accumulated at least 18 hours which were paid for and not used. A couple of months ago, I noticed that my credit card was not being used on my membership. I called and was told that my membership was cancelled because my credit card had expired. Yes, it had but was automatically renewed by my bank. A simple call to me asking for the new expiration date would have taken very little time. All in all, I have lost approx. 30 paid hours of massage that I was charged over $60.00 for each one. I asked the girl I spoke with to have the owner/manager contact me. That was over a month ago and I have still not received a call. read more

I joined Massage Envy a little over a year ago. During that time I have had four different masseuses. The first three were good some better than others but they seem to have left after a few months. The last masseuse was terrible like she was in a hurry beating pizza dough. What is the problem? Why can't they keep good employees? I think I'm going to quit my membership. read more

Purchased a gift card for my fiancé and after holding on to it for several months and REALLY needing a massage, she decided to use it. What happened after that was a mess. She called a week prior to make an appointment and discuss her options for massages. At that time she was told that they did not need that information and just needed to schedule a time and they would discuss the options during the consultation. She arrived today at her appointment only to find that she could not get the hot stone massage she wanted because she would have needed to make arrangements prior to her visit. Wow! Really? That is exactly why she called a week ago. They went on to inform her that she had 60 minutes available and that was her longest option. Again she called a week prior to make sure that she could get everything she wanted. I regret this purchase and can't believe I didn't go with the Woodhouse again where they always have the best service. read more
