I will state the positives and the negatives. The front desk staff was kind. The building was clean and peaceful. My massage therapist was a very kind woman. And I could tell she did her best according to what I mentioned to her. Unfortunately I asked for more time to be spent on my hands and feet, and not only were those areas hardly massaged, but the pressure was far too light. It wasn't a terrible massage by any means. But I just wish she would have spent more time on the areas I requested. The other massive negative for me was that a mask was required the entire time while on the premise. Including during the massage. I'm sure that will make some people happy. But I'm not one of them. Masks massively aggravate my sinuses. Not only could I legitimately not breathe (sinuses became irritated and clogged, and I couldn't breathe through my nose), I unfortunately had a terrible headache the rest of the day because of it. Unfortunately I won't be recommending Massage Envy anytime soon, until they can fix their mask policy. I would have cancelled my appt had I known a mask was going to be required, but my husband is the one who scheduled my appointment. I didn't find out until about 20 mins prior to the massage. I will continue using another local spa that I typically go to as they do not require masks on their customers and the experience is MUCH more enjoyable. read more

Use to go here all the time been a while from lack of availability in my schedule. Finally made an appointment to see Donna for 90 min massage. On my way to appointment there was vehicle driving behind me who seemed to be in a hurry and after driving irate and hand gestures and then me finally pulling over to let the vehicle pass because at this point I am shaking and not in that big of a hurry. So vehicle passes and I continue to drive to my appointment. We both pull into the same parking lot and this lady then gets out and goes into the massage envy hmmmm may e she was late for work. So I go in after her because it's 8:30am my appointment was at 9am a I alway arrive early incase anything happens. I walk in and she is telling the front desk something about me I don't know. And then I ask her I am sorry are you having a bad day? And she proceeds to say let me tell you what happened and starts going off and saying I did nit use my blinker fast enough and she thought I was turning in another entrance and blah blah. So I shaking but calmly unlike her asked the receptionist what her name was..... she said DONNA so she was gonna be my massage therapist for my appointment lol nope I ki day asked her to cancel my appointment and make sure I would not get a cancelation charge and she assured me I would not. There was definitely noway I was going to go into my appointment with DONNA who was obviously running laye and in a bad mood. She definitely needs a relaxation massage. I will never ever again go to a massage envy of I do end up going to get a massage. The whole situation was insane and uncalled for before it even started. Can't make this up. I hope DONNA has a better day and thank you for wasting my time and ruining my morning for a short amount of time. Robbed of a great massage. In April I booked 90 minute massages for myself and my son. I had to book 1 1/2 months out to get two at the same time. When I arrived, imagine my surprise when I was told I only had 60 minutes and my son had 90! Donna, the masseuse was wonderful but even with all her skills she could not get rid of my tension which only escalated after speaking with the manager who could only give me excuses and apologies. I had the 60 minute massage introduction/relaxation massage ($49.99) and it was mediocre. The whole experience was mediocre at best. I walked in and I wasn't greeted (they did stare at me though and then gave me paperwork to fill out), the massage therapist was nice, but she didn't evenly distribute the massages. She would do a specific massage on one side but not the other (and I get some spots need more work than others, but just basic massage techniques weren't repeated on both arms, both legs, etc). The room was hot. Not warm. Hot. The lotion didn't smell like anything (which might be good for some people who are allergic to scents, me, I prefer my good old fashioned euculapytus scent). They give you water in a paper cup and then try to get you to sign up for their massage club as you leave ($59.99 a month and you get your monthly massage and your face massage for $39.99 or something like that). What is this? A gym? I came here to relax not get sold something. Didn't I buy something already? Leave me alone fake spa people. Overall, I didn't walk away impressed nor happy about the money spent on a mediocre massage. I hope this place gets better and if not I hope they leave. read more

My husband got me a gift certificate for services at massage envy and I chose a massage and a facial which were great! I originally went and just for a relaxation massage but I have a torn rotator cuff and my massage therapist Penny, worked her magic and was very careful with my injury. I left there with my arm feeling so much better and no pain. I would highly recommend Penny for a massage. And as far as the facial, Cecelia did an excellent job and she explained everything that she was doing what product she used. I would highly recommend these two ladies. read more

I will never be going back here. I was sore for 3 days after, even after I told him not to do a deep tissue massage. Also, the guy was a mouth breather and kind of made moaning noises. Love this place! Therapists are always amazing. I've seen many of the therapists and haven't had a bad one yet! I really love the fact that they text you the day before to confirm the appointment length and time! They even send an email a few days before with the same info. I am a firm believer in over communication as opposed to under! Front desk is always friendly and recommends pre booking when they know a therapists schedule is booking out. Went today for my first ever massage. Donna was my therapist and she was just absolutely amazing! I didn't know much about massage and she took some time at the beginning to explain everything to me and listen to my concerns. She talked to me the perfect amount of time during the session (not too much not too little). She made me feel so comfortable! I was gifted this massage from my friend who is a member and after having Donna as my therapist today I just couldn't say no to a membership. I need to come back every month to see her. I love coming for monthly massages! I'm a member and plan on continuing the same forever. I just can't imagine my life without my monthly massage. The only suggestion I have is to ensure staff that's waiting for customers or on break are quiet. I kept hearing them chatting and carrying on while my massage was going on. I joined in on their membership they offer and at first it was wonderful! I had a massage therapist that gave a great therapeutic massage. Once new management took over it has been downhill. I received a massage from a gentleman that made me feel more than uncomfortable. I spoke with management and their solution was to have me meet with a therapist that gives "relaxing" massages. Rebecca not only tracks her clients over time to evolve the therapy but is exceptional at communication and feedback as you get through the more challenging and layered issues.. I love coming to Massage Envy. Ask for Brittany - she is really great. I used to have a really stressful job, and on top of that I exercise a lot though out the week. So I needed deep tissue massages every month - but I am very picky about shoulder massages. I explained this to Brittany and she was very attentive. However, sometimes the front desk staff seems uninformed. One time the receptionist didn't even ask me if I wanted to book my next apt (when I was a ME member). SCAMMERS! My boyfriend bought me a gift certificate for my birthday a few months ago and paid in cash. Unfortunately he did not receive a receipt. I forgot my card at home when I went for my massage, however the girls at the desk assured me it was no big deal. When my average-at-best massage was complete I went up to the desk, and they had NO record of my boyfriend coming into the spa. Instead, they blankly stared at me until the only way to solve the problem was for me to pay. Annoying, but I suppose my fault for not remembering my card. I called back with card in hand to see if they could look up the info with the bar code numbers. NOTHING. Essentially, $80.00 was placed into someone's pocket, and a blank gift card was handed to me. Not impressed, the massage therapist was about 5 minutes late. So, my massage was 5 minutes late starting. She finished 10 minutes early then tells me she was late because she hadn't been feeling well. They were going to give me to someone else but she came in and took me. She was sweet but, they absolutely should have given me another therapist. I have Lupus and a compromised immune system. Now I am sick with a sore throat and cold. Massage Envy in Viera is a sub par location for a massage. The staff was friendly but that's about it. The waiting room before your massage is awful at best - imagine sitting in your closet with 7 strangers waiting. The room is tiny with no serenity or privacy and the chairs are not comfortable at all. Then there is the massage which I don't believe could have been worse if they tried. First the therapist seemed to be very inexperienced. She did not listen to any of my requests. I had specifically asked not to rub my feet as I'm just not a fan of that but she completely ignored that and did so anyway. I also asked for light pressure but the session started out with an elephant sitting on my neck. Even after I asked to reduce the pressure she continued to press very firmly on pressure points much to my pain. This is the first massage where I left more sore than when I came in. Then to top it all off as you leave they push you to try to buy 12 more crappy massages. Needless to say I will never be returning and I do not recommend this place there are many other better massage options in Viera. read more

Had a gift certificate from the family for a 60 minute massage. Ended up being 48 minutes. I asked them why the difference at the front desk on the way out, and was told they include the time they talk with you beforehand in that 60 minutes, the time they take to ready the room, and the time they take to prep it for the next person. Ive been to many different Massage Envy's nationwide and while I have always had pleasant experiences, Massage Envy Viera was by far the best! My therapist was so attentive to my needs and I felt immense relief after my session. On top of being very pleased with my therapist, I was also blown away by the staff at the front desk. The young ladies there are always friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone, especially if you have a hectic schedule as their hours are very flexible. read more
