It consisted of the masseuse running her hands over different parts of my body for the duration of the massage. No different pressures or techniques. When she asked me how the pressure was, I asked if there could be a bit more, to which she responded that in order for her to use any more pressure I'd have to pay her $15. Never when getting a massage have I experienced someone trying to up-charge me DURING the massage. Let alone for something that should be standard, changing the pressure. Which she asked me if I wanted, so it honestly felt like a setup for her to try to get me to pay her more. I left Hand and Stone feeling exactly as tense as I was when I came in. If anything, I was more tense and stressed after having to lay there and listen to the masseuse talk on and on about her mental health issues and her tragic life experiences. I specifically requested high pressure and little talking on my intake form. This was either never read by the masseuse or my preferences were just completely disregarded. Ever since then, I've been calling the location trying to get ahold of a manager and each time have been told that the manager is not there but will call me back. I have not been called back. I left my name and number with multiple people and explained I needed to discuss a recent negative experience I had with a massage. Clearly, customer satisfaction is not a priority. I'm very very disappointed with both my massage experience and my inability to contact a manager these last 2, almost 3, weeks.

My mother hand has been closed since 2001 and know with exercise she can hold a ball and extend it further out during exercise. The day after I booked it I came across a Yelp review and saw the only review posted was 1 star rating! This made me even more nervous about this business so I expected the worst. However, the next day I received a call (I am assuming it was the receptionist) confirming my spa party. She was so friendly and made me feel comfortable and confident in my purchase. I was beginning to feel more at ease, but I was still timid to see the result. The day of my daughters bridal party, the lavender spa staff showed up EARLY (which I was shocked to see because of the other review on this site). They were super friendly and set up quickly. Unlike other nail technitions they actually made conversation with me and seemed to care about how our day was going. I know that is a small occurence, but to me, it's the little things that count. I was also very pleased with how fast they worked and how well my nails and feet turned out. I consistently get pedicures due to my rough heels but this was softest my feet had ever been! They gave me an awesome paraffin wax that I didn't even know existed! The massages were above and beyond my expectations, I wish I could give more detail on them but I was in heaven sleeping after 10 minutes. The other guests who got their makeup done looked gorgeous and were super pleased with their fresh look. They, too, were skeptical about the services because they didn't want to look "over done". However, the makeup artist gave them the exact look they were going for. Along with makeup, we also got lip and and eyebrow waxes. These turned out great. They used an aloe vera cream afterwards and it soothed my redness and itchiness that I normally have. :) Overall, I was very pleased with Lavender services. Their workers are kind and you can tell they are big on providing great customer service. I was so happy with the company that I booked another spa party for me and my girlfriends next month. I look forward to another great experience.

A couple months later she decided to call me and say that she "made a mistake" by double booking me, and that she has another bride who's bringing her entire family to do their makeup with Venus, and she can't take me anymore. I was so furious! I begged her to please take me and then take the bride and her family afterwards since it was just me. She kept telling me that she cannot anymore, and NOT ONCE did she apologize! I know her story was made up and she saw that she could make more money by taking on an entire family with the bride! I am so disgusted! Do not ever book with her on your wedding date, or any date for that matter! I will never EVER go back to her again! She has gotten too greedy and is only there to make money and does not care about me, and won't care about you either!
