I am 67 years of age and was experiencing the aches and pain of growing older. I finally had enough of going to my primary care physician and getting no relief. All she would do is prescribe medication, which gave me little to no real relief. In fact, I was experiencing more of the negative side effects than positive ones. She finally recommended sports therapy. But I had been there and done that during major surgery rehab. That's when I decided to seek the alternative of massage therapy, and because i did, my life has been changed for the better. After eight sessions with Audrey since July 31st, two custom, one therapeutic, two Swedish, two CcranioSacral and one Lymphatic, all of my chronic aches and pain have been eliminated. She made sure I was comfortable with the foot bath temperature before beginning. Carissa started with soft pressure and slowly increased and always listened if I needed a firmer or lighter touch. She will gently help stretch your hips, legs, ankles, and shoulders after massaging each area, and she listens if you need a break from the stretch. The only thing I did NOT like was that she tried to crack my back for me, so I asked her to stop. The scalp massage at the end was also very relaxing. She did not ask for tip up front like the other girls do, so I asked her to run my card again for a tip afterward. (I really don't like that the other staff want their tip up front! It should be based on the service!) After my last visit, this was a much better experience with Carissa! I will call and specifically book with her again. Covid concerns: They socially distance their clients, staff and clients must wear masks, clients must use hand sanitizer upon entry, staff wear gloves for the entire service.

She listens and applies the attention and techniques I require at each visit. And I add the therapist are polite and give a warm welcome. My only concern is they're a small spa and when busy the masseuse are required to check walk ins and answer the phone. But overall Silk Touch & Amy specifically are hidden gems.
