But for being a "master stylist", Debbie has messed up my haircut not once, but twice. I gave her the benefit of the doubt but that was a mistake and i hated my hair until it could grow out and mask the issues. Any good stylist should not have that problem. That was 2 months ago. I'm writing this review now because i went to a korean salon and they cut my hair 100x better than what i had before Uneven sides, bad blunt cuts, poor layers that made my hair lay flat, and she seemed to be unsure of doing hairstyles that weren't your typical asian haircut. She'll follow instructions one moment, then ignore a different set of instructions the next this salon is overpriced. I was charged $300 for hair services which i later found out was a scam because other salons do it at $150. you pay 30 for a men trim that only covers your side and back that Debbie rushes through and finishes in 10 minutes. This is ok for fades but just go to a barber for cheaper... any korean hairstyle out there that isn't two block will look off with only your side and back trimmed but the top growing too long If you're not specifically looking for an asian stylist, yes, I could recommend this salon if not for the surplus in costs. But if you have korean/asian hair like me I recommend just going to an actual korean salon.

The spa is in a convenient West End location that was easy enough for me to get to from SW. During all 3 of my visits, the staff were so warm and welcoming. The spa is clean & quiet, and the treatment room is very relaxing. I had a different aesthetician for each of my facials, and they all did a good job. They were able to answer any questions I had about the eminence products used, and customized my facial according to whether or not I was going out after or going home (ie. redness, shine, etc.). Elysian has an easy online booking system through their website, and I notice they have promotions on their Facebook page so you should check that out. I had my facial consult which was neat because they took photos to see problem areas on my skin. I found the consult to not be so helpful. I was recommended things that other spas would refuse to do to my skin because it was too harsh. I'm super careful and knowledgeable about different treatments so this kind of sent off a red flag for me. They really only recommended treatments which they had the machines for which was pretty limited from what I am accustomed to from going to medical spas. I also was actually taken back by the prices as they were alot more than other places I've been to. Hence probably why I never tried them before. Anyways...I ended up being model for a hydra facial Deluxe for $235 and got 50% off my treatment. The tech was actually new and I felt like she didn't give me a proper treatment because I could feel that she had missed some areas and didn't focus on my problematic areas (nose and chin). Luckily I was using a gift card and got a discount for the treatment. But if I had paid full price I would definitely have been disappointed. Overall. They have good options available for treatments and plenty of products which I am yet to try. And maybe I'll come back for one of their specials. But my skin didn't feel or look as glorious as it typically did compared to getting a $235 treatment elsewhere. So I'm not sure I can justify the full price from this experience. It was overall a positive experience but a few things were off for me. I am a spa addict and I have extremely high expectations of going to a spa for treatments so take this with a grain of salt.

I've seen a nurse and another doc that recently came into the practice in the past year and have continued to receive excellent care and treatment. The environment is always impeccably clean and the staff welcoming. They now are offering regular family health care here as well as female specialized. So if you're looking for a new GP, you may want to consider checking them out. The Botox for migraines program has been life changing. It took three visits over 9 months for my migraines to stop and I'm so very glad I didn't stop after the second visit. Since starting this program, I have gone from missing 1-3 days of work, life, and fun a month to having only 1 or 2 minor migraines a year! Seriously - like I used to get so bad I would have to see a neurologist and go into the ER for IV treatment to stop the throw up cycle :-( I still keep prescription migraine melts on hand for emergencies but I could probably survive now with just Advil and ibuprophen. I didn't make an appointment but they were able to get me in quickly which i thought was great. The haircut started awesome and i didn't ask for anything fancy just needed to tame my hair a bit. Where things took a turn; was while the stylist was cutting my hair she cut part of my ear off. I kept calm and asked for an emergency kit. They didn't have that but did bring out a dry wash cloth some random gauze they had. The wound wasn't stopping bleeding and i asked if someone could drive me to the hospital or get me a taxi voucher to go over there. I ended up spending nine hours in the emergency room waiting to see a doctor. I followed up and asked the management team to contact me. I messaged the number that was given to me by their "concerned" district manager. Only to find out that it wasn't even his number that he gave me. I waited 4 days to hopefully hear from someone. Nothing. I'm not looking for compensation or anything of the sort. I simply wanted some level of follow up to know that they actually did care about their client that was injured as a result of negligence. I worked in hospitality for 12 years and i know that a little bit of care can go a long way. Hope this helps in your decision making to go here or not.
