First time at this location and first time at any massage place and oh my lord. Had an appointment set up. Upon walking in, it's nice, clean, and smells of amazing peaceful essential oils. Check in was easy and simple, was offered a warm neck pillow which felt amazing. The rooms were nice, clean, lights were low, peaceful songs during your time there and was offered a complimentary essential oil scent for my massage. I'd definitely recommend Eric, he was respectful and talked to me about everything that was happening. He definitely worked out some knots from my shoulders that needed it. First time trying this place and I can't complain. I definitely see myself going back and telling others. It a little out of the way for me but definitely wouldn't mind the drive cause it will be worth it! Check in was very easy the gentleman at the front helped me with the information they needed. Elana was my therapist. She did great! She was very patient and informative. She let me know the areas that needed more attention and she was totally right! I had a pretty good massage. However, I paid for a 60 minute massage and did not get one. I arrived early (3:50) and was taken back to the room at 4:07. The massage didn't start until 4:13. The massage ended promptly at 5. When I asked the front office about it, they informed me that their policy is to give you 10 minutes to get changed and comfortable, and an additional 5 minutes after they leave the room so that you can get changed. Which is all fine, but the massage should've been advertised as 45 minutes instead of 60. I would not have booked the massage if I had known that. Those 15 minutes make a difference! read more

Greeted warmly by Natalie upon entering with my husband. After a few preliminary health questions were asked (via in house IPad) we were instructed to wait in lobby area where we would be escorted back by our massage therapists, Wendell and Marcus. After a short wait they escorted us back to our individual rooms. Wendell went over a few items regarding etiquette (very professionally I might add) and left the room as I settled in. After a few minutes Wendell returned and asked which areas were of most concern and began the massage. The pressure applied was of a medium intensity and before too long the knots melted away. Alas the massage came to an end and Wendell excused himself and graciously met me in the hallway with water and bid me a good day. When I return I will most definitely ask for him again, fantastic! I can't say enough good things about Wendell! Marcus met my husband with water at the end of their massage and my husband had a very similar experience to mine. We had never been to this location, although over a year ago we did go to the Stone Oak location. When I booked massages for my husband and I over the phone I explained that to Natalie and that we were not members. I was expecting to pay $99 for our massages and was told it would be $150 PER 60 minute massage. And if I wanted to pay the lower amount I'd have to sign up for a membership. When I asked to speak to a manager or the owner I was told no one is available and those were my options. Or I could leave after canceling and paying their full service fees. Talk about being conned into a membership. Then our massage room was FREEZING with and they had a construction fan blowing air so hard the employees were confused as to why it was so cold. The fan was so loud you couldn't hear the music either. I then experienced the strangest massage I've ever had, I'm not sure the masseuse was licensed. Similar to the Friends episode where Ross massages Phoebe's client. The website says aromatherapy is included and neither my husband or I received any. The entire visit felt like a bad joke. We will never return. Don't waste your money, time or energy. Find a place that actually cares about patients and doesn't want to scam you for your money. read more

The customer service at the desk is always friendly and welcoming. I've gotten massages and facials here and have enjoyed both. Today I happened to get my best massage yet from Mike. This was my second visit here and while the massage was ok, I was shell shocked when it came time to pay. I am not a member and had an hour massage, at the whopping cost of $160!! Shame on me for not understanding or knowing that if you choose to not be a member, you should expect to pay a ridiculous amount. It was never talked about prior to my session, which I would have appreciated, being that the cost doubles without a membership. I have never paid more than $100 for a 60-minute massage and that's already steep. So $160?! That is insane and frankly, not very forthcoming for those of us who chose not to purchase the membership. So I left a 5 star review about 2 years ago and have been coming and spent thousands of dollars with this place. I had something come up on the day of a massage where my wife needed to go out of town. I was watching my kids and couldn't make the appointment. They made me pay for half of massage and wouldn't refund it. The receptionist reached out to the franchise owner and he/she said she would refund that amount. This stinks, as I finally found a therapist who I liked and it is sad how they will lose a customer over this type of issue. Highly unprofessional location. From the manager, Tim, to the owner, Heather. I waited to post a review in case they decided to do the right thing which they have not. I was gifted what we later found out was a three month membership. At the time my husband purchased this for me, the printer was not working so a contract was not given nor was it emailed. After finding out about the said contract, I have asked for it numerous times, and am still waiting for it. I have emailed, Heather Huber, the owner four times (she has never once responded or called me), the first being the first day I went to use what I thought was one of three hours. They couldn't find what he had purchased and after over a week the manager Tim called me and said it was on my account and there shouldn't be a problem. There was no mention of a contract or an end date to the contract when I spoke to him. I received a call a week ago that informed me my account had been closed. There was no warning of this just a call. When I called to discuss this with Tim, the only resolution was to pay $99 to reopen my account to get the one hour credit. I was not ok with that option as nothing was provided to us with an end day to the alleged contract. The amount of unprofessionalism and over rudeness I have received is appalling. read more

The massage heights in Bulverde TX is horrible! I have had trouble since the day I joined. I have had therapist pass out during the massage. After speaking to the manager, he did not even offer an apology. The staff changes so often if you find someone you like, they always leave. The front office staff is rude, it is never relaxing. The final incident was when they called me less than 30 minutes before my massage to tell me the therapist was not there. I asked if I was getting a credit since their policy is I must pay 50% if I cancel. The owner was rude, so I asked to please cancel my membership. He still charged me for the last month, when I tried to make an appointment, they said it expired in 30 days. So I paid the $70 and they refuse to schedule my massage!!! I have called, left message. I have had two massages at this location. After the first one I signed up for the membership so I could get the lower price when getting a massage. When signing up for the membership they didn't tell me that you were signing a 12 month commitment. I would never have signed up for that. I don't get massages that often. I now have a credit balance because I haven't had the time to go in for a massage. So I went in to cancel my membership yesterday and the receptionist said I couldn't cancel because I have a 12 month contract. I told her nobody explained that to me when signing up for the membership. I ask for the owner or the person running the place and he was not in. She said she would have him call me. The people who work here are great. They do a great job. My issue is that due to work and life I don't have the time to use the membership. I have called multiple times and was even in the location requesting that my membership be cancelled. Apparently the only person authorized to do that is the manager. He called me back one time when I was in a meeting. He left a message he would call back. He did not. I called back multiple times and NOTHING. No calls back. And now for the 2nd time since my request, I have been charged. I guess I have to dispute the charge with my credit union to get this resolved. I would have been back. Not now. They still ended up charging me on February 17, 2023! if this business is that hard up for $99 I can only imagine what they were doing to others. The customer service from "Amber T" assistant retreat director , was very uncalled for . I sent an email last Thursday about my membership cancellation , heard nothing so I had to reply twice , over a week , and I finally received something . She claims she left multiple messages , I never received any . I don't answer calls I don't know with all the spam calls that come through daily . Had she left an actual voice mail this would of turned out differently. The attitude in the message could of been left out . So when I talked to her on the phone finally , she laughed and hung up shortly after I let her know it would of been appreciated that she of contacted me through email if I never got back to her through phone call . Clearly that was too much for her . So please if you are wanting to cancel a membership be ready for a run around . We shall see if she actually canceled it. Easy to get to, and the relaxation started as soon as I walked in. The lobby has a soothing ambiance, and the receptionist was pleasantly competent and helpful. Colleen gave me one of the best massages I've ever had, and she obviously has a passion for soothing tension away. I let her know that I'm scheduled for surgery on my rotator cuff for an old injury, and she carefully worked to loosen the joint up without causing me any discomfort at all. I called on a Sunday because I was having back pain from post athletic injuries and they were able to fit me in pretty quick and they put me with Seth. Everything was super clean, checked your temp, very covid safe. I have never felt more relieved than I did from even the very start with Seth. He is very educational, knows what he's doing and how muscles are effected, and is very knowledgeable with the anatomy. He really insures you're comfortable throughout the entire service, the bed even heats up which is a nice bonus. He really customizes your massage to fit what you need worked out. I've always told masseuses about it but they don't spend the time or effort actually working my trigger spots out. He even said I may be a little sore in a few spots but followed up everything he told me to do after the massage and I feel amazing the day after!
