It's fully legal, very legit, and the MT (there is only one) is very talented. Highly recommend it! It looks sketchy from the outside- it is literally a tiny hut- but inside it is clean, nicely decorated, and licenses are up to date and prominently displayed. I lift weights, and not to brag (but why not!!) I am built like a tank-- I have a regular MT that earns her dough here in Baltimore, and this lady in St. Pete is serious competition-- she impacted my muscles deeply, and it was one of the best massages I've had (sorry, regular MT- if this lady was in Baltimore, I'd have to pick her!!) 5 stars all the way!!! read more

Jacquie provided a flexible, quick appointment with great shiatsu massage combined with deep tissue work. I was at St Pete on vacation with an old lower back injury flaring up. Jackie was able to find the tight, painful spots and get them to relax. Afterwards I was able to enjoy my days at the beach and even go for a 4 mile barefoot run. I am very open minded. I also understand and appreciate energy healing, but I just had the strangest massage ever! My husband and I travel a lot and I always get massages everywhere we go. I was hoping for a nice, relaxing massage and I am left still needing/wanting a massage and out $35. Within the first 5 minutes I was thinking please let her start massaging me soon. She was all over the place just tapping me. She would start to rub for a second and I'd get excited then she'd stop and start tapping me again. I wish I'd known she wasn't going to massage me at all. The reviews on here are very misleading. About 20 minutes in to the session she asks me if I'm liking her style? I asked her what the tapping was and she said, "Not everybody likes my style. It's okay. This is all I can do." I said, "Oh. I was just really wanting a good massage. We've been really active this week and I just need to be rubbed out." She then says, "Well, we'll just stop here. This is all I know how to do. It's all instinctual healing. This is my instinct. It's okay if you don't like it. I don't know how to 'rub you out' as you say." At this point I was so confused. She left the room, I got dressed. Deep sigh. I wrote her a check. I'm not sure who she was talking to when she left the room because no body else was there, but she was talking to someone. As I was writing her check I told her I needed some good energy work right after my dad died suddenly a few years ago so I do appreciate it, I was just wanting a regular massage. To which she replied, "All I can do is what's instinctual. I'm way beyond anything else." So, I left feeling confused and slightly irritated that I actually just paid money for that. I stepped out and called my husband who was actually scheduled for the hour after me and started explaining, what I will probably always refer to as, The Strangest Massage Ever!! Don't let the small shop deceive you - this is a great place. The owner/operator did a fantastic job and my boyfriends back has never felt better! He has had reoccurring sciatic pain and since she worked on him the pain is gone. $60 for an hour massage is very reasonable in this area and it is worth checking. He will use her again in the future when we return on vacation. read more
