We had a 1 hour couples massage and body glow scrub (shout out to Cory and Jamie who were both amazing). Lastly we each received a facial. I had never had one before it was one of the most relaxing things I have ever experienced (Thank you Rachel for taking such good care of me and Than you to Kayla for taking such good care of my wife). While visiting my best friend in Florida in June of 2024, we decided to go to Paradise Spa to have a facial. We called and made the appointment with the owner, Corey Mendel. Kayla did my facial. After she applied a mask/scrub to my face and chest, she never washed it off before applying a moisturizer on my skin. It felt like she was rubbing my skin with sandpaper! I told her that she did not remove the mask/scrub and that it felt gritty. She wiped my skin a little with a towel and continued with the moisturizers and lotions. I left with a sticky, gritty mess on my face and chest. I had to immediately go home and shower to get the grit off my skin!! I feel like I wasted a lot of money!! Terry who did my friend's facial actually washed her mask/scrub off her face and chest. I reached out to the owner, Corey Mendel, asking him to contact me about this situation but never heard from him. read more

Relief and relaxation...I will always visit this spa while visiting the St. Pete area. They are accommodating and responsive. Prices are appropriate. BUT....what is exceptional is the personalization and attention paid to details. Justin is an excellent therapist. He identified a pain source during my initial massage treatment and adjusted the session, communicating and educating during the entire process. Justin also went above and beyond, sending me home with information to share so that a local therapist might be able to duplicate the treatment. He is incredibly knowledgeable and intuitive. I love a deep tissue massage, but most places cannot go deep enough to release my tight muscles. This was not the case when Cory worked on me. My muscles were so relaxed I slept the best I had in years that night. I was also able to do the sauna after my massage which was totally amazing. I loved the hydra therapy bath, which I tried another day after massage. The place is so beautiful and relaxing, the prices extremely reasonable, if I lived closer, I would be in weekly. Some Spa's are snobby and act like they are doing you a favor by taking your money. Everyone at Paradise Spa are good people, that make you feel comfortable, and go out of their way to help you feel at ease. If you get a chance, check them out, you won't be sorry! read more

Loved! Loved! Loved! Our stay had rainy weather and therefore entailed multiple spa visits. I had a pedicure, 90-minute facial and 90-minute massage. Their professionalism is above and beyond. I felt comfortable from the minute I walked in the door. My pedicure was the most thorough and detailed pedicure I have ever gotten. Barbie is great company. She allows for as much quiet time as you need and she is also great company to talk with. My skin has been glowing since my facial. I had extractions done and she was so gentle. Would come back every time I'm in the area! The front desk staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND to schedule a couples massage for us. Was this my favorite massage experience? Perhaps not. Was this my most effective massage? I kind of believe-yes! My favorite massages usually involve fluffy robes, glasses of bubbles, amazing scents- they're more about the extras than the work of the actual massage. This massage called a "Custom Massage" was definitely about the work that needed to be done. It was a pressure focused in the best way. Ashley was my masseuse. She asked me questions along the way but mostly did the communicating before hand. Which I really liked. She was careful to avoid an injury I have and gave a little extra attention to my shoulder blades (which I requested) and thumbs/wrists (have you met my friend carpal tunnel?). It was a thorough massage and granted some pain relief in the following days. I definitely would recommend this massage for anyone who is particularly active and has tight muscles!
