I have been hurting from seasonal cold and flu. I tried a massage chair last night and I could tell my back was pretty stiff. Tonight, I had an opportunity to visit here before they closed. I wanted 90 minutes, but there wasn't enough time, so I settled for a 60 minute massage. Meena was my masseuse this evening. I enjoyed my session, falling asleep quite a few times. Massages are decent besides all the distractions from the front door, phone calls and loud talking from outside the room. Not very relaxing. Therapist left my room 3 times within a 40 minute massage. No good, especially with the increase in prices. Also I have noticed on my last few sessions that I was shorted at least 5 minutes from my massage. I just take it our of their tip. Tried this massage spa in place of my usual Massage Green. The person who answered my call was polite. The lobby is cute and inviting. I've been to private therapists, businesses, chains, and acupuncture/acupressure/cupping; this massage was a combination of traditional massage (I had deep tissue) and reflexology. The massage therapist (Callista) was experienced & strong. She found all of my tender areas without having to ask. The environment was relaxing, with soft music. I did hear some noise from nearby businesses, but this can be resolved by just turning the volume up a bit. A chilled water to go is provided, as it's important to flush out the toxins released during the massage. For a massage at a good price, this is an excellent choice. It's not the ideal spa environment, (comfortable bed, but less padding than usual, no aromatherapy) but you will definitely feel better leaving than when you came in. read more

This was my first ever massage, so I don't have anything to compare it to. Like some of the previous reviewers, there were some parts to the massage that I found odd like pulling my hair. She also had to leave in the middle of my massage to tend to the lobby when someone walked in. Any relaxation I felt by the time she was done was replaced by frustration when I was told they would not honor the coupon that is on their website when paying with a gift certificate. I was told that you can only use the coupon if you pay with a credit card or cash. What is the difference between cash/credit or a gift certificate? Someone used cash or credit to purchase the gift certificate. This is just poor customer service, so I will not be going back. read more

Honestly this was the worst massage i ever received. I have had many massages and This is the first time I thought to myself "I wonder if she even went to school for this". He technique was horrible, there was no pressure or special attention paid to where I have knots in my back. However when she massaged my feet she was so aggressive and it hurt. Not to mention she wore rubber gloves, if you are going to do this you should at least ask if I am allergic to latex. I also think that in this field of massage therapy you must be comfortable touching people. Skin to skin. At the end of the massage she had me flip Over, i was thinking she was going to massage my neck and collar bone...but nope she put a huge glob of cheap lotion all over my face. That is not ok. This has never happened, but if you are going to put something on someone's face you NEED to ask them. My skin is super sensitive and breaks out easily. At this point I was just angry. She then took two hot towels and plopped them on my face and began rubbing the lotion off...but she didn't sent l care about my mascara that she was getting everywhere...including in my eyes. Honestly I won't never recommend anyone go here. Go to ultimate Thai massage in hall road, super close and only $8 more for a high quality massage by professionals. This place gets 0 out of 5 stars. Well, I'm not sure how other reviewers rated this place so high! When my husband and I walked into the massage room, we looked at each other and almost decided to leave. There was paper covering the massage tables (like when you are at the doctors!) and we were thinking, what kind of place are we at?! But we decided to give it a chance. Our therapists must have been the only ones working at the time, because throughout our massages, the therapist kept pausing to answer the phone and walking out of the room to check the main lobby. No apologies given. She acted like it was just normal practice! The therapists also used some comical massage techniques that I have never experienced and never want to again! At one point, she started yanking my hair! And on top of all of that, the massages were not cheap! I would definitely not go back. I 100% agree with Alli. My girlfriend and I tried this place out because of the positive reviews online. It was odd from the moment we walked in. We were rushed to our rooms. The woman who we could barely understand told us we had to wait for the other massage therapist to arrive. No one else was there. My girlfriend felt a bit apprehensive and we decided to get the massages in a shared room. We waited about 10-15 minutes for the other woman to arrive. Meanwhile, they had towels laid out on the table with a roll for plastic-y paper just like at a doctors office. Once laying down, I noticed the towel underneath the paper smelled. Just then, the other woman arrived. We emphasized that we only wanted out necks, shoulders and backs done. The "massage therapist" I got started out by rubbing my head so hard, she was pulling my hair. I had to keep telling her to stop (while the other woman translated this to her). My back massage was anything but relaxing. It was rough and "choppy" hard movements. At times, the massage was painful and the therapist had to be told to stop. Then someone came in the front business door and our massages were stopped while they tended to the person that came in the door. I could not believe this.
