I tried this place because I got a c(gr)oupon that was for a 60 minute massage and a mud treatment. When I got there to redeem it, the Lady told me no, only 40 min massage and 20 min mud, 60 minute total. If I knew that, I probably wouldn't have gotten the it. Then I had to wait 30 minutes! I was 5 minutes early for my massage, then waited, and waited, and waited. I could hear people being smacked around in other rooms, no - I actual heard literal smacking! When I finally got into a room, she told me to strip and put a sheet over my bum area, and lay face down. Well, I did that, and she left me there for about 10 minutes. I was starting to get cold and frustrated. If you like REALLY FIRM PRESSURE massages, this place is for you. I thought her 'medium pressure' was way too firm. I kept asking her to lighten it up, and she kept saying, this isn't firm. Thank goodness it didn't last 60 min! Plus, I only got my back done, not my front. During my beating, I mean my massage, she started to massage my head, and comb my hair w/ her fingers. I was thinking, 'finally - something relaxing happening' - then she starts yanking my hair, over and over. WTH?! I then had the mud treatment, where they put hot mud with "Chinese Herbs" on your back, leave it there for 20 minutes then peel it off. I swear it was so hot, I thought I was going to have blisters from it - but I didn't. After 20 minutes, she came in and peeled the hardened mud off of my back, and told me to get up, get dressed, it's over. It would of been nice to just get a 'take your time, I'll see you at the desk.' So I got dressed, met her at the counter, gave her a tip, and was on my way. I felt really disorientated and dizzy. By the time I got home, my face was flushed, and I was nauseous & really dizzy. I'm guessing their "Chinese Herb" mud contains caffeine, because I'm intolerant to it, and I get dizzy and nauseous when I do have caffeine. I left there feeling exponentially worse and sore than when I walked in. Thanks, but no Thanks. read more

I've never been here! But I'm NEVER coming back!!! Me and my friend came in to get the foot detox thinking it's like a pedicure...... no, we were put in a dark room with no light! We came in because the website said 35$ for the detox and they had good reviews for the massages: The woman tried to argue with us that it's 40$ so we pulled up the website to show her that it said 35$. She called the "owner" to make sure it's ok and he said yes. My friend asked if we will get our detox done together, she said yes. She proceeded to fill up one bucket of water and had my friend sit in a computer chair, with her feet in the bucket in the dark room and she had me sit on the bed. About 27 minute into my friends detox (keep in mind the detox is only 30 minutes) she comes in with another bucket for me. I found a coupon on Yelp from that EXACT PLACE for 10$ off first time visit so I asked her if my friend and I could use it and she said yes. She then came in with another woman to maneuver me into a smaller chair and brought in another bucket for my friend (after she said she only wanted to do the detox once). We felt very crowded with us sitting in that little room and then the two women coming in leaning and moving around us. When it came time to pay, I pulled up the coupon from their place; and she acted like she's never seen it before. Once again she said "let me call my owner" So she told her that my friend and I could use the coupon. She told us our total was 60$ (we were paying separate) But for a 35$ a piece detox, we both should have only paid 25$ a piece. We ended up paying 30 a piece because instead of taking 10$ off each of us, she did it together..... which made no sense. That's only 5$off. Then she tried to argue saying they upped the price to 40$ even thought the website said 35$..... Then after that, she I have to tip her..... which I didnt because she wasn't even listening to us and what we were saying about the coupon, and the website price. Then she said "I carried your bucket of water two times" But that's your job...... Just not a good experience, very rude especially asking for a tip AFTER giving terrible service and not listening to the owner telling us it's ok for ya both to use the coupon, and the owner telling us 35$ a good price because that's what online said! I'd give lover than one star if I could! Never get a foot detox here! read more

I can't say that I've had much issues with GLOT, as I've gone to them a handful of times for a quick Massage to help some issues that I was currently having get worked out. Yeah, this one of the few places that encourages you to get all the way naked, and they treat your glutes the way they need to be treated. i would like to start off with i felt extremely uncomfortable. i couldnt even enjoy my massage. the lady kept pulling my underwear down to my low hips, my whole body was exposed/naked 100% of the time. She put the sheet in between my legs. While the sheet was in between my legs and i was naked, she OPENED the door. The ladies here are very friendly and do a great job, making sure you're comfortable and the pressure is suiting. They're usually pretty accommodating and have good availability. The owner Shu Kicks out MAJOR hand power (careful what you wish for, caution NOT for wimps) "IF" you loveeeee DEEP tissue work see Shu! In other words IF you are like I am, where you actually want to FEEL like you are getting worked on opposed to a soft Swedish massage purely for relaxing, set an appointment with Shu!!! She will not disappoint! I m in Physical Therapy for overly bound tight hip flexors & a thrown off kilter (asymmetric) pelvis...which in turn is throwing out my back. I communicated all of this to Shu, she worked on my thighs very deeply as well as my kinked up hip and right side. I thought this will go wayyy bad or it will help to loosen things up, I m happy to report the latter occurred! My daughter & granddaughter were equally as happy with their massages. This was the first time for us here in Oriental therapy spa and it was nothing less than amazing. My husband took a deep tissue + herbal mud and he was really happy with the entire massage. I on the other hand took the Reflexology massage by Shiu and she did it amazingly well. I was in town for a few days vising my friend and we decided to go for a massage on Sunday. I called this place and Linda answered and she made in happen for 3 of us to go and get massage. I absolutely loved my massage by Linda but my 2 friends didn't have a great experience as they found the sheets to be dirty. They asked them to change it for them which took about 20 minutes. Anyways overall we were happy with the massage service but make sure you check your sheets before you lay down as it seems they do not change it after every customer. read more
