She made a great start on loosening up some areas that are consistently tight, and I can already feel the difference. Prior to your massage, the therapist will chat briefly with you about your goals for the session. They also offer water and a small snack plate (sliced apple and carrot, cracker, and chocolate) which you can enjoy before or after your massage, which is a really nice touch. Following the massage, they'll let you know what areas of tension they noticed, and give suggestions for things you can do at home to help relieve them. Their scheduling system is a little unusual - you don't make an appointment for a certain length of massage. Rather you choose wellness session or full body treatment- each of which has a time range. It's not clear how the therapist decides on the length of the session, although you are able to let them know if you need to be done in a certain amount of time. Also, although they have evening and weekend hours, those seem to be booked well in advance, so if you don't have daytime availability it may be difficult to get in. Street parking is easy to find, but is 2 hours during the day, which might be a problem with longer sessions. Overall this is a really nice place for a massage, and I definitely recommend Geri!

And then, when you do find a provider you like she leaves (no fault to her for that) but as a patient at the clinic you have to go back on the "waiting list" because the other providers aren't taking "new patients"....even when you aren't a new patient to the clinic. I wanted to like this place, I wanted the small clinic feel where I thought it would be warm and welcoming, not the busy rushed atmosphere of the large mega clinics in the area. I tried for almost 10 years; Not worth it. As I get older I am going to need a place that listens to me and treats me politely.
