She also did firm to deep pressure which was nice for someone that puts his body through the paces in the gym. She also asked about pressure a couple time and left it up to me to initiate talking during massage which I did not so total relaxation was achieved. One star is lost for scheduling as phone is not the best way to schedule. Email seems to prevail with a response within 48 hours. This could be challenging for some but I did schedule my massage weeks out so I was not in a rush. Kudos to a sole proprietor who does it all! If it was easy to run one's own business everyone would do it. You go girl! Discovering the location could be a challenge at first as they are in the basement of the Prairie Cafe building in Middleton. The space is very clean and well decorated with limited clutter. She was really good about asking if she was applying too much pressure or if a towel or stone was too hot. Holley did wonders to work out the ever-present knot in my shoulder! It felt so much better afterward! The atmosphere was welcoming, relaxing, and super clean. There was soothing music on in the background. Unfortunately I have been experiencing significant neck pain and was really looking forward to getting some relief. I also rearranged my schedule to make these appointments work and both were cancelled with little or no notice. She is in the process of refunding my remaining sessions, but the experience has been a waste of time and energy. Wanted to post in case you are looking to give this place as a gift.
