I genuinely struggle to put into words what she does because calling her a massage therapist doesn't feel like enough. Angie is a healer. She is from Thailand and has spent her life studying and practicing Thai massage, and you can feel that depth of knowledge in everything she does. This is nothing like the typical face down, turn over, massage experience. She moves and positions your body in ways that allow her to work from completely different angles. She stretches you, uses compression, works through areas you didn't even realize were holding tension, and somehow seems to know exactly what your body needs. She releases tension in my shoulders, my back, my neck, even my jaw. There are moments when I can literally feel my body letting go. And that is the difference. You don't simply leave feeling relaxed. You leave feeling different. Lighter. More open. Like your body has been put back where it belongs. I have had many massages in my life, and I have never experienced anything quite like Angie's work. Her knowledge, intuition, technique, and genuine gift for healing are extraordinary. I called to book my appointment the day before and spoke with Angie. She had a beautiful disposition over the phone. She was sweet, kind, and helpful. I knew that whomever I got my massage from was going to be great and to my surprise, it was Angie. I loved her techniques, and her presence. She was relaxed, moved slowly and methodically. Her nonintrusive conversation was exactly what I was looking for. She took her time and made me feel extremely comfortable. She asked questions to make sure that the pressure was right or that my neck was comfortable, and if I needed work on any specific area. She was thoughtful and, very professional. I'd highly recommend her. The space is calming with the dim lights and soft music. The bed was very comfortable. I enjoyed the hot stones and towels. And, because I have a sprain on my left ankle she offered to put a cold compress on it throughout the duration of my massage which soothed it tremendously. My body feels relaxed, looser, lighter, and cared for. I'll definitely visit again soon.

I was able to relax while she relieved me of excruciating pain. When I first booked my appointment, I could barely walk due to extreme pain, stiffness, and locking joints. I had pulled something when I attempted to lift a heavy object from the floor. Add months of tension, stress and long hours of sitting on uncomfortable furniture and multiple prior injuries, I ended up being in excruciating pain from top to toe. Tonie first did a thorough analysis of my health issues and expectations. Then, she followed up with questions to fully understand the condition I was in. When she started, it was as if I had gone to her for years. She knew my problem areas and addressed them perfectly. She competently stroke away muscle tension and helped me to fully relax. She massaged away several knots. But at the same touch, she was able to switch to a very gentle touch when she massaged areas of inflammation.
