Today, January 2,2026 Went to auto checkout on grocery end…read moreof store. There are 4 auto registers but only 2 open. I was the 12th person in line. I asked the attendant who was in charge of two side-by-side sets of auto checkout sections. I asked if the two testers that were closed were broken. His reply was " No. When there is only one person to monitor both sets of auto checkout sections that they have to close two registers." My response "This is not directed at you but I'm guessing that this is what Walmart considers to be 'customer service'." Let me suggest to the powers that be: 1. Open the other two registers or 2. Hire more people!!!!! After returning home I attempted to call the store to speak to the manager. After about 15 rings I got the recorded message indicating an extremely high call volume and to try my call later. Again I ask "Why not hire more employees to even answer the phone"?????? I did try later and got the same recording!!!!! I just looked at the top of my screen and saw 3100 Hough Rd. Have no idea why other than Walmart's IT staff needs help as well. My comments are directed to the Supercenter Walmart onDoering Drive in Florence, KY. Oh, how I wish CUSTOMER SERVICE were still a priority for companies of today. It's non existent at Walmart!!!
