We tried Massey for landscape pest, weed and feed services and did not find them helpful. Our lawn actually looked worse once we started using them so we canceled the landscape but at the same time had contracted with them for pest management inside our home. We called them initially to manage silverfish we discovered in a bathroom. They were placing a powdered substance at the baseboards. All they managed to do was chase the silverfish all over the house until we finally told them to spray something that would kill the silverfish or be fired. The technician complained saying he wouldn't want that chemical in his house which, of course, was not helpful. Maybe he doesn't mind living with bugs but we do! read more

Have been using them since April, Have not been pleased with the results for my lawn, and to have them come out to fertilize the trees and bushes in my front yard, while also supposed to be inspecting the lawn for weed issues and the such. They came yesterday and all the man did was sprinkle stuff around the tree and bushes. Never looked at the lawn, never went into the side and back yard to look at the lawn. I have cameras all around my house, so know exactly what he did and how long he was here. And for that I am charged $131. I call this theft of the customers money, and that is exactly what I am telling them when canceling the lawn service. read more

On two separate occasions, The technician (Vinny), stated he performed services, but did not. I was not home, yet my cameras situated on multiple locations of my home did not see him performing services. When I contacted the office to advise them, I was told by the manager (Anthony), that cameras sometimes fail to detct their technicians. The first time, I believed it was possible, but the second time I walked the property with my dog and was picked up by the cameras. I advised him of this, and that no signs of fertilizer was present, and he said the granules are earth toned and not really detectable. I asked if he was interested in seeing the video (saved to hard drive) of his technician not present during time frame he was to be working, of myself walking the property, and of multiple bald spots of my grass missing granules or tire tread, he was not interested. I then requested the services be performed when I am home and present to observe. They scheduled the next service for a Saturday. That day, I did not answer the door purposely, to see if the technician would be ethical. I physically observed him (Vinny), spray the front yard with a backpack sprayer, but then return to his vehicle. He never entered either side of my yard or made it to the rear of the house. As I watched him drive off, I immediately contacted Massey to advise of the situation. I received a call Monday from a different manager, who scheduled a return visit the following Saturday. That day, a different technician called prior to arrival, and rand my doorbell to announce his arrival. Again I did not answer, to see if he would be honest. I was pleased to see he did the job thoroughly, as I watched from inside the house. Today however, the original technician (Vinny), arrived to perform fertilize services. Again, I did not answer, and watched to see if he was honest. Once again, he did absolutely nothing. I purposely sat on my back patio with my dog (who barks at the slightest movement), and waited for him to come through. It was only when I heard his vehicle start, that I went out to the front and confronted him. I politely asked if he intended to perform services to the sides and rear of the house. He said he had already done that, and was finished. I then advised him that I was sitting on my patio drinking coffee, and that it was impossible for him to say he had performed service. He then said I must not have seen him. I again said that I was physically present and able to see him enter either side of the house, and especially the rear, and he did not do anything. I then advised him I was contacting the company (again!) to report this. As I was on the phone with the local office, I reviewed my cameras, and noticed he did not even perform services to the front of the house. I was told by the company that the manager (Anthony) would be contacting me. This is the same manager who said his technicians do not show up on cameras. I then contacted corporate and left a message with their answering service, and will see if they respond. As of now, I am canceling services with them, and advising my neighbors across the street, and to my left and right, of what happened as it os probably happening with them as well. I also walked my property and video recorded, to see if granules or tire marks were present, and if I was picked up by my cameras. It was no surprise, that no granules or tire marks from the spreader were present, and that I am on camera walking the property. I have video of no fertilizer anywhere, and no tread marks. This technician should be terminated for not performing his duties, and for blatantly lying to my face about performing services. Horrible Company They would come to my house and always send appointment reminders late Friday. Guess this way you cannot request them to come spray inside. The guy is there 5 minutes if that then 15 minutes sitting in their truck. So I'm paying for this? Did termite protection. They charge way too much compared to other companies, so I cancelled last year. Will handle myself. They said they would need to pick up bait stations. I said then you will need to reimburse me for these. They then said ok but could not be responsible for them. Fine.. Then I have received no less than 5 calls and emails about annual treatment. Each time I called and said I cancelled this. As usual late Friday get notification of appointment for the 15th. Again what do I need to do to get rid of this company. Called again today and was told they would address and would need to pick up bait stations and I told young lady that went through this last year. So my advice is don 't ever use this company or you wont get rid of them. They continue to harass me. read more

On January 17, 2025, Spoke with a manager over the phone, explained to him I will not continue my services. He stated he would come and get the termite baits, I explained to him he will need to get the baits when I am home so he should not come on my property when I am not home. He said he would get the Sherriff out if he had to to get their Property, I did not like the way he made that statement. I said to him I would like to see in writing the termite baits belonged to the company and it wasn't the property owner's property. He sent me an email shortly after I asked for it. However, he was on his way to my house without an appointment to get the termite baits. He was Unprofessional and rude the way he handled this situation. I had never heard of Massey Termite Services, it was a new house when I moved in January 2024 and this is the Company the Builders had to put the termite baits in the ground prior to me purchasing the Property. read more

Wow, there is so much to say about this company. First off when I first got them I told them I have sone bad areas where grass didn't grow. They promised they would fix it and in a couple months I'd see a result. It's been 4 months and it's gotten worse. I've called several times, never get called back. They told me they sprayed the trees for weeds and sure enough, weeds came. Called to make a complaint about that - they told me they'd come out to look and they never did. I paid for a year but I would not want them to renew. What a mess. Get another company to do weed and lawn control. read more

after several attempts to kill my weeds in my back yard they destroyed my lawn, what was left of what i had. guy told me to sod my whole yard and rake up the damage that he did. Manager came out and looked shocked and sprayed something in my yard to only make it worse. I now have new weeds I've never seen and after serval attempts they keep trying to charge me there going rate. They keep sending me a bill in the mail. I used to work for Massey Services, about 20 years ago. I worked with the Sentricon Termite system. It was a good paying job for low-skilled work, and I was thankful...until...their lawn guys quit. Then I was asked to cover for the lawn department, which I volunteered for when promised I wouldn't be taking a cut in my paycheck. Low and behold, after 3 months of being massively over-worked, I was now also being underpaid. They did not hold up their end of the bargain. Not to mention, the pace at which I had to work to meet the demand left me unable to meet the expectations of the customers. This is not a good company. They do not treat their workers well, and they certainly do not provide a valued service for their customers. read more

Gave them 3 years to try and care for our lawn. Despite multiple calls to the manager we never got even close to a nice lawn. They'd sprayed round up to get rid of st augustine runners and decimated my front lawn. Horrible service!!!!! Would never recommend!!!! read more
