Fast forward four decades, I stopped in Avon a few days ago specifically to pick up a t-shirt for my girl and walked out with a smaller reprint of the same poster. I call that a win. Same smile too. High prices!? Huh? It's frickin' Beaver Creek! I am happy that Beaver Liqours is still in business and remains family-owned and I appreciate that they haven't shied away from their sense of humor after all of these years. Seriously, if you can't work out from the name of the place their personality ... You're probably not the brightest bulb.

I also sent an email to the store and got an immediate reply from the manager, Val. He apologized for the incident and bought me a fresh 6-pak of the beer of my choice. I chose Lagunitas Little Sumpin' in bottles just to be safe. Val could not have been nicer and he assured me that the employee in question was schooled in the fine art of customer service. Any store whose management is that responsive to customers deserves my business. And yours.
