Love this barbershop! Boris and his barbers know how to cut hair very good and on a consistent basis. I travel 30 min every 2 weeks to get my haircut from Boris. I know, some may think I'm crazy but I'm very particular about my hair and it needs to look perfect every time. With that being said, I couldn't help but notice that someone reviewed this shop with a one star because of the parking lot (dude, you know it's not the barbershop's decision haha - barbershop is a lessee), rudeness (I've been coming to Boris now for several years and have never seen him or his staff be rude to anyone, let alone a child! Come on, think about that for a second, what would he get out of being rude to anyone, specifically a child...makes absolutely no sense). This reviewer seems to be critical about everything and I think it's really the parking lot that got to him haha, he mentioned it 2x in his rant. I don't like to see good businesses run by good people be put down because of some individual who had a bad day or is raging for no good reason. So now every time i walk by this place the owner now employs a very shady looking 28 to 35 year old guy who is always standing outside smoking and looking very shady. I heard him saying yo B someone is talking to my girl. His name is Tyrone, Leroy, or David i think i heard someone call one of those 3 names and he turned around. Very shady looking. I don't want to be around this shopping center anymore. And trust me its not a fear thing more a i dont want to say something to anyone and get an attitude back and then things escalate. Very shady this barber shop got and the staff is very shady looking and when not cutting hair they stand outside the place like thugs. Very bad for business and im spreading the word on social media and informing other businesses owners in this shopping center to get this situation resolved or perhaps we all go elsewhere. read more

This place has the best cut on Long Island. Boris the owner also head chair has people wait 3-4 people when it's busy because he's just that good. I've been going to master barber for about a year and I won't go anywhere else. I use to only let Boris cut me but I gave the other barbers a chance and the fades are just as tight. This place is a hidden gem. Would recommend without hesitation to anyone asking for a fresh cut. I saw Chris weidman in there one time too and he only gets cut at master barber. This is the place to go for haircut. I have been coming here for the past 4-5 months and it is never a disappointment. Always an excellent haircut with great customer service and great prices. Boris' shop is unlike most others, they all take their time and never rush the haircut. With that said, there is never more than a 10 minute wait - which is great when you are tight on time. All my friends go to him we don't know what we would do without him. He's a great guy, good to talk to, and family friendly.
