But they managed to compete this large job in a day. Kirkpatrick's left absolutely no mess, you would not have even known that they had been but for the massive new oil tank. They are a very realistic company and will give you an honest quote no matter how big or small a job is. They have a great reputation in the local area. Joe, one of the workers was full of banter and man chat, something I relish. He told me many stories of jobs he had undertaken and also shared my tea addiction.

They recently fixed a connecting pipe, I do not think that is the technical term, than helped pump the water out of our house. Again these terms are extremely loose but I think I paint the picture well. Anyway Drain Doctor were called with less than 24 hours notice and they managed to arrange to come out the next afternoon, I was trusted with the job of letting the plumber in the house, this meant two things Tea and Man chat, which revel in. The plumber unfortunately did not accept my tea, I was a little hurt at first but he then explained that this was going to be a quick job. The Drain Doctor was back in his "vanbulance" in no time, plumbing fixed with no complaints.

We sent a message asking why the girls weren't here and we got no reply on messenger or via text. Very unprofessional and rude after having business for so long. No reason to what happened. Having had a run of bad luck with an electrical shower that kept blowing fuses I was told to pop…read moredown here as I could 'pick the brains' of the owner and maybe get to the root of the mystery. The shop is quite old school; every nook is crammed with various electrical goods and parts. As they had quite a large selection of electrical showers I was able to point out my model and chatted to the man behind the counter as to why mine was blowing fuses at least once a week. He surmised that we were running the shower at too high a level for the cabling to ably carry the load and that was causing the fuses to blow. After buying a new fuse mount and a few more spares I had a quick browse through the selection of kitchen appliances before heading home for a spot of DIY. The advice was good, after replace the scorched fuse mounts and running our shower on a lower heat setting to date the fuses have remained intact. Pros: Personal touch. Good advice Cons: Shop is cluttered so probably best to ask for what you want first.
