Students…read moreadvance regularly at 3 month intervals as long as they come to classes and practice, with minimum six months between black belt tests. Master Eun is still as wonderful as he was on our first day and he teaches every class except on very rare occasions when another instructor fills in (but they teach just like him). The higher degree black belts (4th +) he has who help test are just as encouraging as he is. They practice with the kids before testing begins and help them do their best. Testing is about showing off what they know, not humiliating them for any lack. It's always encouraging even if the kids feel stressed having all eyes on them (understandable! But no shame ever comes from the leaders). Master Eun is big on teaching leadership, humility, and respect and he models those values, too. I'm still so glad we became involved with EMAC! The kids have made many friends here and they see them outside of class time which is a blessing!

From my perspective the emotional intelligence piece of the practice is missing from this facility. After I wrote this review on Google I received a threatening text message from Mr. Hatcher requesting it be removed. There are plenty of good reviews which make sense as freebies are given for the positive remarks.
